The name Arthouse is due to the fact that it is centrally located between the most important museums of Dordrecht, (Dordrechts Museum, Hof van Holland Ann Kunstkerk) the Dordtse Schouwburg (Kunstmin) Arthouse Cinema (The Movies) and of course the important contribution of the famous Dordrecht artist Rein Dool in the design of the house. TofHof, a surprising finest Airbnb of the historic center on a picturesque street. It’s richt next to the Hof van Nederland, within walking distance of numerous restaurants in all flavors and tastes, close to the beautiful old ports, cinema, museums. The Airbnb is finely furnished and takes up the entire second floor of the monumental warehouse. To get there, you have to take two stairs, but then a huge comfortable king-size bed, a fantastic rain shower and fresh fruit are waiting for you.

The space
The high sky-blue attic roof provides an attractive appearance upon entry. There is a huge comfortable king size rest place make bed with soft Percale cotton. In addition to the wonderfully comfortable bed, the beautiful location and the rain shower, there are also fresh fruit, a minibar, tea, coffee, soap-free soap and body lotion. There is a record player for vinyl records, books and board games.

Explanation and useful information can be found in the information folder, on the day of arrival you will receive the code from the key box that can be found on the outside of the building, you turn the code on the top line. The two keys provide access to the front door (key with black top) and to the Airbnb.

Other things to note
Unfortunately, the Airbnb is not suitable for wheelchair users and/or the disabled, even if you have difficulty walking, we are unfortunately less accessible.

In the 19th century shell of Dordrecht lies the Rozenhof. The cozy guest house is part of a monumental mansion and equipped with all comforts with its own entrance and shared patio. Centrally located, in 10 minutes you can walk to the historic center with plenty of museums, shops and restaurants. A large supermarket is a 3-minute walk away. The train station is a 10-minute walk away, so you can be in the bustling city center of Rotterdam within 15 minutes. Or visit UNESCO Kinderdijk with the water bus!

The space
The entrance to the apartment is through the old gate to the patio, at street level. And there you have your own entrance to the apartment. We also use the patio ourselves for storing the bikes. In the patio, you will find a table and 2 chairs where you can sit for your coffee or drink. No smoking is allowed inside, but this can be done on the patio.

You enter the hall where there is a wardrobe to hang your coat and a small sink. On the ground floor, you will find the toilet and bedroom with 3 beds and bathroom en-suite. The rooms include bed linen and towels. In the shower, you will also find shampoo & body wash and a hair dryer.

In the hallway, there is a staircase to the first floor that leads you to the living room with kitchenette and dining table. The small kitchen has a Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, combi oven and microwave, fridge with freezer. There is also the possibility to prepare small dishes in the oven or to heat up a pizza. There are plates and cutlery available for use. There is a TV with Netflix and plenty of outlets. And from the spacious sofa in the living room, you can enjoy the beautiful view over the Rozenhof park.

We love personal contact, so we like to do the check-in ourselves. Then we can answer some questions ad hoc and explain things about the apartment and the neighborhood.

We live in the property ourselves with our 2 school age young children and 2 kittens. We are mindful of the guests, but please also note that there is living in the property.

You can park in front of the door, but that's for a fee. Via the QPark app, parking zone 7831, you pay €3.00 per hour.

For €1, you can park for the first 24 hours at the Weeskinderendijk parking lot, after which you pay €0.50 per hour. The property is 750 meters (a short 10-minute walk) from De Rozenhof.

On the Wijnstraat in the middle of historic Dordrecht, you will find the spacious Amecet Guesthouse. A beautiful building from 1731 is stylishly furnished with all the modern conveniences. You are close to the city center, where you will find many restaurants and shops. A city walk, a boat trip or a cup of coffee on the quay can be done from the front door. Furthermore, the mills of Kinderdijk and the nature of the Biesbosch are nearby.

In Dordrecht, Holland's oldest city (since 1220), has a beautiful historic center with many old ports, more than 1000 national monuments and a varied range of restaurants. Dordrecht houses gems such as the Dordrechts Museum, van Gijn Museumaan-house, court of Holland, the Grote Kerk, the Raadhuis (1383), theater Kunstmin, Energiehuis, cinema and film house.
Guided city walks and/or a boat cruise are well worth it.

A few kilometers from our B&B is the National Park De Biesbosch. Nice walking through the whims on the river Nieuwe Merwede (15 min. by bike) Or…, learning everything about De Biesbosch in the visitor center are incredibly beautiful experiences. In addition to the knives, you can also go hiking or cycling in De Biesbosch itself. Rent a canoe or whisper boat and experience the freshwater tide in the Dutch Biesbosch.

In the ancient Alblasserwaard, the Molens of Kinderdijk are located. This world heritage site includes beautiful cycling routes. Many millions of tourists from all corners of the world have already visited the Mills of Kinderdijk. From B&B Hesha, this tourist topper is within easy reach.

Nice walking through the whims on the river Nieuwe Merwede (15 min. by bike) Or…, learning everything about De Biesbosch in the visitor center are incredibly beautiful experiences. In addition to the knives, you can also go hiking or cycling in De Biesbosch itself. Rent a canoe or whisper boat and experience the freshwater tide in the Dutch Biesbosch.

In the ancient Alblasserwaard, the Molens of Kinderdijk are located. This world heritage site includes beautiful cycling routes. Many millions of tourists from all corners of the world have already visited the Mills of Kinderdijk. From B&B Hesha, this tourist topper is within easy reach.

In addition to the private room, the dining area with dining table is available to guests. The nice intimate garden with all its seats (7 pieces) is also available to our guests. There is also a nice outdoor garden on the waterfront.

The hostess and host are in principle always present in the accommodation.

At B&B Hesha, guests can park for free on our own grounds !!!!
There are few B&Bs in Dordrecht where this is possible. At most B&Bs, one has to park in an (expensive) parking garage and with suitcases over the street.

Our B&B is located in a very quiet part of the Sterrenburg district right along the N3 motorway (comfortable between the A15 and the A16) and is centrally located between the city center, the Biesbosch and Kinderdijk.

Dordrecht-Zuid train station is a short walk from the B&B.

We may have bicycles available for our guests. By bike you are within 15 comfortable cycling minutes in the historic city center.

Welcome to "In the Warmoes." A romantic guest house in the second oldest city in the Netherlands. The cozy living room has a neat kitchenette (without a stove) with wooden features. The house can accommodate 2 adults and possibly 2 children. There is a nice bathroom with a walk-in shower. For the little guest, a crib and a high chair are also provided. Through the French doors you can sit outside. The surroundings of In de Warmoes have much beauty to offer.
