Our house is in a beautiful park, close to the station. Within walking distance of the cozy village. Please park the car on the Horsterweg, at number 80. Enter the Hooge Riet exit, turn left and then we live in the second house on the right side. The house numbers are a little hard to read. Any bicycles can be stored in the storage room.

The rooms are on the first floor and accessible with an elevator, but it is small, no wheelchair can fit in.

Take a break at this peaceful, spacious place. Our holiday home is located 2 km away from the train station of the old town of Harderwijk. Here are nice restaurants, beautiful shops, and even a city beach.
The house is 200 meters away from the forest where endless walks and bike rides can be made signposted with junctions. It is a recently renovated house on our own lot with ample parking, with a charging station.

The space
A private guest house with many amenities:
Private entrance, living room with kitchenette equipped with 2-burner induction cooktop, combi microwave, small fridge with freezer compartment, kettle and Nespresso machine (tea and coffee are provided). There are also dishes, cutlery, glassware and pans.

Separate bedroom with spacious double box spring bed and ensuite bathroom with shower and toilet. The bed is made up as standard with a double duvet (or 2 single duvets if desired). Of course, towels and shower/shampoo are provided.

In the summer, you can use sun loungers and various seats in the garden to seek out both the sun and the shade. We also have a briquette BBQ for our guests.

Guest access
Our guests can easily reach us by car via the N302 (Koningsweg) or inland via Elspeet or Uddel. Free parking is available on private property.

Other things to note
We keep horses on our property and have 2 small dogs. We try to minimize the inconvenience of this when we have guests.

The cottage is located diagonally opposite the forest, where you can enjoy beautiful walks and bike rides. You are also within a 10-minute walk in the center of Ermelo, with its cozy shopping street, many restaurants and terraces. Here you can enjoy a snack and/or drink. On Tuesday morning, the weekly market takes place there and in the summer the famous summer evening brderie takes place.
Huisje de Deining is located in the back of our deep garden, in which you have your own private garden.

The space
The cottage can accommodate 2-4 people and has a separate bedroom with a lovely large double bed (1.80 x 2.00 m) and plenty of closet space. In addition, there is a comfortable sofa bed for 2 persons in the living room.

You enter a hallway where you can hang your jacket. From the hall you enter the living room, which is cozily furnished with a nice sitting area, dining area, television, central heating and there is free Wi-Fi available.

In the cottage, there is an open kitchen that is equipped with all comforts: ceramic hob, fridge, combination microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, blender and plenty of crockery and cutlery.
Hand and tea towels and basic necessities such as salt and pepper are provided as standard.

The bathroom has a sink, walk-in shower and toilet. Shampoo and hand soap are provided.

You have your own garden located among the greenery where you can relax.
Furthermore, you can use a shed to store any bicycles brought with you. There is also a washing machine that you can use.

The property is rented out with 1 set of towels p.p. and bed linen.
The beds have two single duvets and there are extra duvets available.

Our new B&B in the hamlet of Tonsel, belonging to the village of Ermelo. Located in the quiet countryside. La Mariposa Azul is a detached house with a private entrance and there are charging points for your electric bikes. Smoking is not allowed on the entire property.

The B&B is a beautiful base for a cycling trip to the village of Ermelo, the Hanseatic city of Harderwijk, the forests of the Veluwe or the beaches of the Wolderwijd.

In a well-insulated wooden cottage of Swedish origin, a very atmospheric environment has been created for a stay of one night or even a week. La Mariposa Azul is situated in the outskirts of Ermelo, about 2 kilometres from the railway station in a dead-end street, where there is hardly any traffic. For visitors with a car there is the possibility to park their car in front of the house in the grass next to the road and bicycles can be parked in the yard next to the house. Electric bicycles can be charged.

Through your own entrance, you enter the kitchen of the beautiful cottage and walk through to the cozy living room with sofa, dining area and TV.

On the ground floor is a separate toilet.
Through the open staircase in the kitchen you go to the first floor where the very spacious bedroom is with a double bed (180x210) and two single beds (90x210).
To the bedroom is the en suite bathroom which is equipped with washbasin, shower and toilet. There is also a washing machine and dryer.
