During the day, a bus runs every 15, sometimes 10 minutes to GelreDome and to the city center. Only a 5-minute walk to the bus. There are free parking spaces in front of the door.

Arnhem has a beautiful city center, Burgers Busch, the Sonsbeekpark, and of course the Open Air Museum, with the Zaanse Schans.

The space
It is a good base to develop all kinds of activities in Arnhem. For people who work in Arnhem for several days and do not want to travel back and forth. And for those who want to explore Arnhem for two or more days. The bed is on the firm side. Those who prefer a softer bed can book my other room.

The room itself is on the second floor. On the second floor, there is an air conditioner, which keeps the second floor cool, except during a prolonged heat wave. And with that, the room below is also cool, without the annoying hum and blow of an air conditioner.

Next to the room is the bathroom, which can be heard. Therefore, no more showering is allowed after 9 p.m. So you can go to bed early, too.

Other things to note
The house is in a quiet residential neighborhood. Which makes it nice to sleep at night. No heavy traffic, no industry, or no busy recreational activities. Just a good place to sleep. There is a laundromat nearby, 3 minutes by car or 10 minutes by bus. There is a charging point for electric cars 30 meters away.

Due to the good public transportation facilities, the city center, Gelredome, and with 1 transfer Burgers Zoo and the Open Air Museum can be reached easily and quickly. This wooden summerhouse in Icelandic style is cosy, has a warm atmosphere and it is equiped with all necessary luxery. The house is situated in the centre of the lovely village Oosterbeek, which has a rich history. This is a prefect base to discover culinairy and cultural adventures or to explore the beautifull woods and national park 'de Hoge Veluwe'. It is easy to travel to the nearby cities Arnhem and Wageningen.

The space
The summerhouse is in our backyard, but you can enter or leave whenever you want.
The kitchen is small but suitable for breakfast/lunch or preparing a small meal. WiFi is working perfectly and several apps are installed on the smart tv, including Spotify and Netflix. The bathroom includes a comfortable shower, with shampoo/showergel, towels, toiletpaper, sink and toilet. The bedroom consists of a double bed (one matras), a small cabin for clothing and a side table. On the open attic, there is a boiler and room to place your suitcases.
The summerhouse can be locked, as well as the bathroom and the bedroom.

Our guest house "Bij Tante Wil", named after the previous resident, combines modern comfort with a warm, personal atmosphere. Her beloved dining table is still central to the bright living room. The residence was completely renovated in 2018 and is quietly located in the back of our spacious garden, where you can occasionally meet our children and friendly pets (dog and cats).

The studio is located in the backyard of our mansion from 1900, across the street and you stand in the middle of the Sonsbeek park. Our lovely quiet city garden may be used. The space has a private bath bath room with shower. The living area has a table with chairs, a sofa and a small kitchenette to make your own coffee or tea. In the living room is the stairs to the loft where there are two separate mattresses. There is no standing on the loft.

From the Apeldoornseweg there is access via the gate to our backyard where the studio is located, so you can come and go as you please (own entrance).

We have converted the cowshed into two B&B rooms with both 1 bedroom and private bathroom. A very spacious living room with a kitchen, and dining table. The kitchen has the basic items.
