During your stay, why not walk/cycle south until you reach the Bell at Outwood, recently named in the top 35 pubs in England! Or along the Greensands way until you reach the Fox and Hounds in Tilburstow Hill or a little further to the Barley Mow in Tandridge, all well worth the effort.

Isla's Den - is an attached guest suite to the main house, with EV charging (£25 additional cost per charge) and its own private entrance with key safe, boasting a private secure courtyard garden suitable for pets (£40 additional cost per pet per stay) with a log fired Sauna (£50 per stay/per week) It features a double ensuite bedroom with Smart TV, a selection of board games, plus a kitchenette which has a Nespresso machine, fridge, microwave/combi oven, hob and dishwasher. Guests have shared use of the lake garden and filtered, spring fed, 30m x 8m natural swimming lake. Guests may use the 5 acre field during their stay which includes a level lawn for ball games.
The historic village of Bletchingley is a 15 min walk, which boasts 3 pubs, a coffee shop, a convenience store and a few independent stores, Godstone is a 30min walk or 5min drive with similar amenities and great eateries.
'Godstone Farm' is less than a mile away and is a great day out for a family with children 0-12yrs old.

There are several glorious walks to country pubs and villages, ranging from 30mins to 1h30m. Coldharbour farm is on the 'Greensands Way' and the 'North Downs Way' can be accessed from the north of Bletchingley for walking, and are a favourite of mine for mountain biking!

The towns of Oxted and Redhill/Reigate are 20mins drive by car, which offer outstanding eateries catering for all tastes, a good selection of chains and independents, wine bars and cinemas. (Book restaurants well in advance to avoid disappointment)
Hever Castle is 40 mins by car, and there are several National Trust destinations well worth a visit, all within an hour’s drive, most notably perhaps 'Chartwell', Churchills' country estate.
There are mainline train stations to London from Redhill and Oxted each taking approx. 35mins, you can travel to Gatwick and Brighton from Redhill.
Gatwick is 30mins by car.
We will 'pick up' and 'drop off' to Redhill/Oxted stations and Gatwick airport, at the beginning and end of your stay, free of charge, 9AM-9PM daily! (Provided we are available)

this house is outstanding because of its proximity to Gatwick airport just 15 minutes by taxi, 30 minutes by city bus that runs every 15 minutes for £3 , 5 minutes by train that runs into Gatwick airport for less than £5 , it's nearness to east Surrey hospital for less than 6 minutes by commercial bus, above all being located at the heart of Redhill town centre where you have to walk for just 4 minutes to the train and bus station that goes to central London in a question of minutes secured.

Cosy, self contained annexe in a quiet area, 15 minutes drive from Gatwick Airport. Our little annexe is a totally self contained studio at the end of our garden. It’s a lovely quiet area, with beautiful woods and parks nearby. It’s within easy reach of train stations and bus services to Gatwick Airport and the South Coast. The lovely market town of Reigate is easily accessible, as is Redhill, with its shopping mall and mainline station to London.
No smokers, babies or children please.

The annexe has one large bedroom/living and dining area, a small kitchen, shower room and small self contained patio.

The annexe is totally self contained and just for use by guests.

Self contained coach house. Set in a semi-rural setting with good transport links. There is a high specification luxury fully fitted kitchen. The comfortable lounge/diner has the added advantage of a large king size sofa bed offering flexible accommodation for up to 6 persons. An open plan staircase leads up to two cottage style bedrooms with good storage. A luxury shower room with WC is on the ground floor. Outside offers a private terrace area with tables and chairs for sole use of guests.
The space
The Pool House is set at the foot of the North Downs and is ideal for families or couples. Private, quiet and cosy that offers a relaxing atmosphere. It is perfect for all year round visits. Using The Pool House as a central base allows guests to visit all major London tourist destinations easily and safely.
Major road networks and rail stations are close by and are easy to access. Ideal for flight stop overs as London Gatwick is only 15 minutes by road or train and London Heathrow is 45 minutes by road.
Guest access
In these troubling covid times self check in is a feature of The Pool House. With separate private access with off road parking for two vehicles in front of The Pool House. Privacy and relaxation can be assured.
Because of the shingle driveways and the three steps to the entrance and the added concern of the internal staircase The Pool House may not be suitable for the very elderly or wheel chair users without some difficulty. However, guests can always make contact to ascertain whether these concerns can be addressed and perhaps overcome.
Other things to note
There is a no pet policy and a no smoking policy for the comfort of other guests. Unfortunately The Pool House is not available for party hire or as an event venue. A travel cot is available should it be requested as is a babies high chair.
Arrangements can be made to leave vehicles at The Pool House if departing from Gatwick. Contact host for terms and conditions.
Should dates be blocked on the Calendar, that a guest maybe considering, please contact the host to see whether that date or dates can be cleared and unblocked.
