The only one comment and wasn’t really a problem as I found it funny was the bedroom was up a set of spiral stairs and the ceiling height in the roof void bedroom was at best 5ft 6” and I’m 6ft 4”. We live in a quiet cul-de-sac. The summerhouse is at the top of our garden. It has lovely views of the garden. It is made of bricks and has a polish concrete floor.

The space
The main building has the bed, table and 2 chairs, TV, wood burner, fridge, microwave, kettle, storage, toilet, sink and shower. The little kitchen is a separate building right outside on the decking. It has 2 gas stoves, a sink with hot water, pots and pans, etc.

Lovely self-contained annex with own private entrance and parking space is set in the heart of Kent within easy reach of London and The Coast. Historic castles and well known gardens of Kent and Sussex are nearby.

All the sounds and sights of Tunbridge Wells are within easy walking distance. There are lots of lovely cafe's, bars & restaurants to enjoy including the famous "The Ivy" restaurant which is just 10 minutes drive away.

A cosy furnished annexe available for holidays, short breaks and short term lets.

Nestled in the countryside, and the fringes of Southborough and within easy reach of Tunbridge Wells. Around one hours easy drive from London. Beautiful countryside views and a plethora of wildlife as well as access to a Tennis court and a lake for wild swimming. There is a working timber farm next door.

The annexe sits next to our family home but have your own entrance, terrace and parking spot.

The space
The annexe has three bedrooms. The master bedroom is en suite with a shower, toilet and sink. The other two bedrooms share a bathroom (with a bath) which is accessed from the hallway. There is a large comfortable sofa and a dining table for six plus a large outside patio area.

Guest access
The guests have full access to the annexe and subject to signing a disclaimer may swim in the lake. (Please note the family also uses the lake). Appropriate swimwear must be worn at all times and behaviour must be appropriate for the small children that live in the home next door. Please note the water is cold and deep so not for inexperienced swimmers! Guests may also have 2 hours use of the tennis court per day as long as it is not in use by the family. Clean shoes should be worn and the net and astro must not be damaged. Children should be supervised.

We have two lovely guest rooms, both are on the 2nd floor and have king size beds. One room has a single bed as well. Both rooms have a drinks tray with kettle and the bathroom is shared between the two rooms. There is a separate sitting room.

If only booking one room we will block the other room so you have sole use of the bathroom.

A light breakfast is available at £8/person.

The space
We have two guest rooms on the second floor of this large, recently renovated Georgian house. One room has a with a king-sized bed and the second has a super king and a single bed. .

We are happy for family and friends to book both rooms with a minimum of two nights stay. You will be sharing the bathroom. If you only need one room, we will block the other room, so you have sole use of the bathroom.

Our house is located in the weald of Kent AONB, near to Scotney Castle, with Bewl Water, Bedgebury Pinetum, Bayham Abbey, Pashley Manor Gardens, Sissinghurst and Batemans a short drive away. The are many public footpaths to enjoy in the area. We are seven miles from Tunbridge Wells.

We can offer breakfast for guests which includes cereal, toast, fresh fruit, yogurt, fruit juice, tea and coffee. This is available for £8/ person. Please request this prior to your visit so we can ensure we have a fresh breakfast available for you. If you have special dietary requirements, please let us know.

Breakfast is served in the sitting room which is located on the ground floor at the front of the house. Guests can use this room to eat an evening takeaway. Please no food in the bedrooms.

Sorry, no pets allowed. We have three dogs, a cat, two horses and lots of free range chickens and ducks so we need to make sure they are not disturbed by other dogs.

Guest access
Guests are welcome to walk through the 18 acres most of the time. Please make sure all gates are closed.

There is access to a pool and hot tub by prior arrangement at £5/session
