Welcome to my modern apartment by the lakeside. A simple bedroom to lay your head in. Continental breakfast provided in a separate room, as well as a selection of tea and coffee to welcome you. Guests have access to a small fridge in another room. Bathroom with walk in rainshower.
Conveniently located to train station, cafes, pubs, take away joints. Plenty of nice walks especially along the lake. 2 mins walk to a large Tesco superstore.

This Premium Property is located on a quiet road on the edge of the rural Kentish countryside but also on the doorstep of Brands Hatch, the London Golf Club, stunning Cycling & Walking routes plus historic Knole Park, Ightham Mote, Chartwell, Hever Castle, Penshurst and more.
The space
Cantium is our newly refurbished one bedroomed, stylish and cosy Apartment. It's adjoined to the Main House to the left side but has its own private front to the side and a separate back door which leads to the Woodland Garden.
Combined with Cantwara, we are now able to accommodate larger Groups up to 12 Guests as both the Main House & Apartment can be booked together.
In response to our Guests needs we have become very Family Friendly and now have a Travel Cot, High Chairs, a Changing Mat and a Potty for Families visiting with precious little Bundles of Joy.
The open plan Lounge/Dinning area is comfortable and stylish with quality furnishings. All our Cushions are feather for added luxury and comfort. The Sofa turns into a Double Bed to cater for extra Guests 'tall & small'.
There is a traditional woodturner which adds a very cosy dimension and a small supply of wood is left for our Guests. We also have a fireguard which can be used to protect our younger Guests.
We have installed an Apple TV system so you can sign into your streaming services but also offer a wide selection of Games and House Books for some alternative good old fashioned entertainment.
A Breakfast Bar has been created with bar stools and USB charging ports are installed so, a laptop can easily be used
This well proportioned space leads into the well equipped kitchen where a Sunday Roast could still easily be prepared. A washing machine is also provided but our Cantium Guests can also have use of the larger Utility Room located within our Shed/Storage area at the front of the property on request.
The bedroom has a very comfortable double bed and the Bedlinen provided is all branded, good quality and 100% cotton. The duvets and pillows are all duck feather for added comfort and luxury.
Plenty of storage and hanging space is provided and the bathroom right next door boasts a sizeable rain shower with good water pressure.
By Spring 2024, Cantium will also have its own Private Area within our beautiful Woodland Garden in order to enjoy our wonderful views of Knatts Valley.
We have a Drive which can accommodate at least 4 cars and so, we are still able to offer on-site parking for our Cantium Guests.
Cantium has everything a single / couple or small group would need for an enjoyable and comfortable stay in this event packed area of Kent, the Garden of England.

Professionally designed and newly developed self contained annex, part of a historic grade II listed building from the 17th century. Centrally located in Sevenoaks, on the High Street, opposite Sevenoaks School and Knole Park National Trust site. Within the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Private off-street parking and hot tub (both free of charge) and EV charging available. Pets welcome.
The space
Entering through the front door from the courtyard presents the downstairs living space, with plentiful light flowing through the cafe style windows. To the left, a lounging area with a chez lounge sofa, table and two chairs. An island kitchen sits opposite with cupboards and an oven and washing machine tucked underneath the staircase. The island contains a fridge / freezer, sink, induction hob, and downdraft extractor. To the right of the stairs through a door is the delightfully decorated WC.
Proceeding up the solid oak staircase one finds the first floor bedroom with a king-sized bed and drawers beneath, two bedside cabinets, and a hamper for additional storage. Two electric Velux skylights and floor to shoulder doors opening to a juliet balcony overlooking the courtyard bathe the upstairs in natural light. Above the stairs sits a floor to ceiling cupboard containing the hot water tank on a closed loop system providing high pressure showers in the neighbouring luxurious shower cubicle.
Top quality designer fittings are used throughout which complete a fresh and modern colour scheme.
The sofa could be slept on by a third person and additional towels, chair, crockery etc provided.

Our entire unit is designed with stylish interiors to provide guests with maximum comfort and luxury in mind. The space spans across two floors and includes a king size bed with high quality Egyptian cotton bedding, a dining area, breakfast station with toaster and kettle, a fridge and freezer, and a spacious en-suite bathroom. Towels, toiletries and a hairdryer are included. We provide bread, homemade jams, butter, milk, coffee and a variety of teas on arrival, which you can prepare and enjoy at your leisure. Situated between hiking routes near the Downs, guests can enjoy a variety of outdoor activities including walks for all levels, excellent cycling and visits to the highly acclaimed vineyards of Kent and Sussex, as well as the many country pubs and restaurants in the area.
We welcome cyclists and bikers to securely park their equipment in the enclosed garden. Parking is off street and freely available.
