The Sackville family have been in occupation since 1604.

Sevenoaks is a pleasant market town situated in the Weald of Kent and is an ideal base for touring the Garden of England. It is home to the Vine Cricket ground established in 1734 , one of the oldest cricket grounds in the world; some consider Sevenoaks Vine to be the home of cricket. Sevenoaks School founded in 1432, is situated at the top of the town on a 100-acre site adjoining Knole Park and is one of the country’s leading educational establishments attracting pupils from all over the world.

We have been running our accommodation for over 8 years and have welcomed guests from all over the world during that time. We strive to ensure that our guests have a pleasant and relaxing stay and we are able to provide much local knowledge about activities that are available locally.

Oak End Lodge is situated at the end of a quiet cul de sac in the former orchard of Seal Hollow House a renowned arts and crafts house. It is a tranquil location with views over an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty to the rear and over a sylvan wooded and park landscape to the front.

The accommodation is very spacious and superbly appointed with double bedroom, generous living room/dining area with a double sofa bed and large marble tiled bathroom with bath and shower. It is ideal for two to three adults or adults with children. It is accessed by its own internal stairway and private door.

... and after a busy day you can relax in our secluded garden and terrace.

As well as this there are some lovely restaurants and pubs locally, The Plough in Eynsford, The Lion In Farningham, The George Inn in Trosley, The Hill Top in Stansted village, and the list goes on….

You’ll meet the cat she’s called Trixie and she loves nothing more than to be petted (You have been warned). You’ll also have free offstreet parking and by arrangement as an additional cost you can charge an electric vehicle.

There will be times when you will have sole use of the family bathroom. It will depend on when you are booking and which family members are in or out of the house at that time.

You will be sharing the house with me your host and at times, my daughters. We are an incredibly artistic household, enjoying the visual arts and the performing arts.

As a keen interior ‘space’ designer, I have fashioned my home to reflect my love of space and my love of light to create calm and comfortable spaces to live, work and relax in.

There are many circular walk right from the doorstep. You can go off-road and walk to adjoining villages through fields and woods with well-signposted public footpaths. Or, if you'd prefer, stick to tarmac for a power walk or 5K run on the 'Weald Loop'. A 5K road based route, where you'll be in the heart of untainted English countryside, rising in gentle gradients to reveal enchanting views that lift the spirit. A regeneration for mind and body.

Whilst you have a private entry way, private self contained Studio, you will share the garden.

The garden has 5 generous patio or seating areas and your own small lawn just outside the Studio shaded by a beautiful tree.

You can use the fire pit (bring your own wood and kindling and let me know if you'd planning that) or, be ready to share our fire pit as we like a sun downer by the fire pit in fairer weather!

You can also do some amazing star gazing from here. In summer, catch some shooting stars during the Perseid meteor shower season from a blanket on the ground. Breathtaking!

Off street parking. We share the drive but you have a private pathway around the house to The Retreat Space.

You will self-check in and use the lock box to get the key … a full welcome pack will be on your bed so you can familiarise yourself with how things work. I do like to say hello at some point to check all ok, just to be friendly. And, happy if you prefer a do not disturb!

The middle floor is private, except by special arrangement, should you require a third bedroom (with access to a shared Fired Earth bathroom with a walk-in shower).

Welcome to my lovely green house in Plaxtol, set in a quiet and picturesque Kentish village.

My home is a pretty, deceptively spacious period double aspect cottage tucked away on a private road behind the village store.

Decorated in a range of Farrow & Ball paint, designer wallpaper and a mix of contemporary and eclectic vintage pieces and curiosities, it's charming and cosy throughout.

Standout feature is the large 0.6 acre garden

The space
The House: occupying 2 merged cottages, it is more spacious than most having double aspect windows which flood the house with natural light. Since the road is privately owned, it is very quiet and only used by other residents and delivery services. It has its own a garage but it is not set up for parking - guests may, at their own risk as it's a narrow road) park one vehicle in front of the garage. Please do not obstruct the private road as it is communally shared and used by my neighbours. There is always plenty of additional free and safe parking along The Street.

As you enter the house via the Stable style door, you'll step directly into the kitchen/dining area. With its soothing green decor and separate dining space with farmhouse table and wood burner, it's a lovely place to enjoy a meal. Since I'm a keen cook, my kitchen is well apportioned and equipped with everything you might need. Please be aware that it has a small freezer with my own produce within so there will not be space for a lot of frozen food of your own but there will be plenty of room in the fridge above. You are welcome to use my condiments in the larder and fridge.

Lounge: accessed through the kitchen/diner, this is a calm bright space with lots of cosy seating and a wall mounted tv (with all the usual broadband channels) and another woodburner. A painted open staircase leads upstairs to:

Bathroom: a caramel painted quirky room with full sized bath and flexible overhead shower and recessed WC. Please feel free to use the products on display during your stay. Towels are supplied in each room for guest occupancy.

Bed 1: featuring a folksy and fun wallpaper, this room is decorated in rich hues of teal with a velvet double bed and small recessed dressing table area. Built in cupboards are not for guest use as they contain my clothing (landing cupboard is free for guest use).

Bed 2: a soft, neutral, painted space with a French vintage double bed and dressing table area. There is also a small fitted desk area by the window for home-working.

Bed 3: a playfully themed single room with Sanderson wallpaper and a single bunk bed. This room has a TV with Blu Ray player and a selection of DVDs, as well as games, children's books and toys. I also supply a travel cot for babies and a blow up single mattress (in the landing cupboard)

Outside space: Although I do not have an attached garden space, behind my garage, is a 0.6 acre plot of natural land. Imagine spending summer days outside in your own private haven with nobody to overlook, surrounded by majestic trees - I even have my own small woodland area so nature lovers will be in their element .
I have a summerhouse at the rear of my land which I may use during occupation and I will notify guests when this is the case .
No fires are allowed on my land owing to the risk of tree damage.

My home is perfect for all season stays. During the autumn and winter months, the house becomes a cosy sanctuary with its two wood burners in the kitchen and lounge area. Xmas is a special time here and when you book over the festive period (12-31 December), the house will be complete with real Xmas tree and tasteful festive decorations.

During your occupation, you will have access to all of my home aside from the fitted wardrobes/cupboards in Bed 1 as these contain my personal clothes and possessions. The landing cupboard is reserved for storing guests clothing etc

Summerhouse is reserved for my own occupation on rare occasions I choose to stay during guest occupancy (this does not influence use of the main garden space)

Please note that this is a country residence with two woodburning fires and chimneys which do get dusty. Whilst every care is taken to clean the house ready for guests, it is not a show home with pristine fittings and many of the elements of home furnishing are older. The space
The Garden Coach House has flexible accommodation. In this listing there is a very lovely large studio upstairs. The Studio area can accommodate up to TWO Adults + ONE infant (provided the adults are sharing the double bed and parents bedlinen for our travelling cot for the infant). The Studio area has a full kitchen (electric 4 ring ceramic hob, oven, under counter larder fridge with freezer compartment, and new dishwasher), dining area, sitting area with a Sofa and sleeping area with Double Bed. Downstairs is the shower room and separate WC and a washing machine.

We also offer an additional wonderful large double bedroom downstairs with a double bed and underfloor heating. If you wish to book the entire house with this bedroom please go to our other listing.

You will have exclusive use of the annexed guest accommodation set in the beautifully maintained grounds of a parkland setting.

Guests have their own front/back doors, outdoor terrace/patio with table and chairs for al fresco dining (a fire-pit with wood is available on request.)

There is a full size Petanque/Boules court.

And, for a unique experience, visit the Treehouse, adding to the sense of rural escape.

There are two spacious bedrooms in the annexed accommodation with heavenly kingsize beds and hotel quality bed linens.

Each bedroom has its own bathroom (with underfloor heating) one with a large walk-in rain shower; the other with a vintage roll top bathtub.

The charming reception rooms include an upstairs studio sitting room with Juliette balcony and view over the pond

There's also a raised mezzanine lounge area, complete with a single sleeping deck available upon request (please note, the space has reduced height).

For your entertainment, the property offers a Smart TV with Netflix, iPlayer, and high-speed internet access.

There’s Nespresso coffee and a selection of teas. The hospitality fridge is stocked daily with complimentary fresh milk and juice.

Please note that Napps Farm does not have self-catering facilities as we aim to offer you a peaceful, chore-free stay with daily complimentary hotel-style housekeeping visit.

Should you prefer to dine in, take-away services are available, with deliveries directly to Napps Farm.

The breakfast/dining area is ideal for working or hosting small private meetings.

There are many walking, hiking trails and tracks directly from the property with public access to 2,000 acres of woodlands.

Please note: there are no self-catering facilities (no kitchen) or food preparation area.
The 4 acre parkland setting and Treehouse at Napps Farm is for guests to relax in, enjoy and explore together with a full-size pétanque court.

The space
There's loads to do in Sevenoaks which is only a short walk away. Shops, restaurants and beautiful nature. A short walk away is the stunning Knole House and Park, Penshurst Place, Hever Castle and Chartwell, the former home of Sir Winston Churchill, are all within a short driving distance.

The property is ideal for a group of 4 adults, three children and one baby, however we could put a blow up bed in the sitting room for you if you would wanted or more blow up beds for adults to sleep in, just let us know so we can organise it for you.

We have a well equipped kitchen, with breakfast bar area and dining table. There is a dishwasher. Please feel free to use any of the food that has been left, just let us know if you've finished something and we'll get some more in for the next person.

There are two french doors in the kitchen which lead to our garden where there is a patio with a BBQ, outside dining area and a stretch of grass with a trampoline and some other bits for the children to use.

There is a small office which we will likely keep closed to keep our things in unless you specifically want to use it.

Also leading off the kitchen is a small utility room come bathroom with a loo, washer-dryer machine and steam iron.

In the sitting room. There are lots of games, kids kitchen, toys and board games, please feel free to use whatever you like. We have borrowed a TV. The channels aren’t working, but you can connect to your device for Netflix etc.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms with king sized beds. One is a larger room than the other. There is a third large room with two bunk beds and a pull out bed beneath and a cot.

Upstairs is a bathroom equipped with a bath and step in shower.

Bedrooms are provided with full bed linen and towels.

You'll have the whole property except the office where we'll be putting our stuff so you can use the wardrobes etc. If you would prefer to have access to the office, please let us know and we'll move things round.

Other things to note
Please feel free to use the scooters and other bits in the house like the boxing bag and gloves (we hang the bag on the wall of the house in the back garden on the hook - left as you go outside the house).

This is a very loved family home. We're offering this up over Christmas and New Year before letting it out furnished. We have packed up some of the books etc, but will leave you lots of goodies to enjoy.

A tastefully furnished and decorated two bedroom Victorian house within easy walking distance of the Sevenoaks town centre and also the train station to London (both take fifteen minutes). Totally refurbished, it offers very comfortable accommodation for all. Just my Mimipussycat to feed!

The space
Creatively decorated home - all mod cons, a beautiful home to relax in - you can't do better! Downstairs it provides a stylish spacious living area, fully fitted kitchen with cosy bench seating at the rear. Upstairs, it has a large double bedroom with a king size bed and also a smaller second bedroom with two single beds. For your absolute comfort, I have provided double duvets on the single beds! There is both drawer and hanging space. The garden is an absolute delight with a raised decking area for eating and chatting, a lower garden with two ponds and a garden swing under a covered area. Although I say it myself, it’s an oasis of calm! There is FREE street parking. I do not allow smoking in the house and ask you to take your shoes off while inside.

Wildernesse Lodge has three bedrooms, two with double beds, one with a single bed and desk with drawers. Maximum occupancy is four adults or two adults with two children. The living room and dining areas and kitchen all have floor to ceiling sliding windows and look out at a garden screened off from the public road entirely by hedges and a substantial landscaped and stoned earth wall and electric gate, and a historic house, some 30 metres away which does not overlook the property ensuring your privacy. There is a very large, well kept garden you are welcome to enjoy and where kids can play a game of football and run around or pedal a red racecar around. There is an octagonal Teahouse in the garden with comfortable garden chairs. There is also a garden table with four chairs and a large umbrella right next to your home for your private use. There is also a secure 2m wide x 6m long x 2m high storage facility which is always empty next to the home, which can be rented by separate negotiation and which can only be rented for the period of your stay.

Oak End Lodge is situated at the end of a quiet cul de sac in a tranquil location with views over a sylvan wooded and park landscape.

The accommodation is very spacious and superbly appointed with double bedroom, generous living room/dining area with a double sofa bed and large marble tiled bathroom with bath and shower. It is ideal for one to four persons either adults or adults with children. It is accessed by its own stairway and private door.

Oak End Lodge Apartment is superbly situated giving easy access to the beautiful towns, villages, countryside, historic Castles, Cathedrals, Gardens and Museums of Kent known as the Garden of England. It has excellent road, rail and air connections, to the centre of London ( ½ hour), to the coast (just I hour) and is ½ hour from Gatwick airport.
 
Oak End Lodge Apartment is a 2 minute drive from Knole Park which has 1000 acres of outstanding parkland and is home to the finest deer herd in the South East of England. Knole House a Tudor manor house once owned by King Henry VIII and Queen Elizabeth 1st is in the centre of Knole Park, and is judged to be one of the greatest National Trust properties in the country. The Sackville family have been in occupation since 1604.
 
Sevenoaks is a pleasant market town situated in the Weald of Kent and is an ideal base for touring the Garden of England. It is home to the Vine Cricket ground established in 1734 , one of the oldest cricket grounds in the world; some consider Sevenoaks Vine to be the home of cricket. Sevenoaks School founded in 1432, is situated at the top of the town on a 100-acre site adjoining Knole Park and is one of the country’s leading educational establishments attracting pupils from all over the world.
 
There are two local golf courses, Knole Park Golf Club which winds its way magically through Knole Park with stunning vistas of the Park, and of Knole House, and Wildernesse Golf club founded in 1890 and set in a beautifully wooded area.
