- "This property was very disappointing for the price we paid. It is not as described in the pictures nor does it meet the qualifier of a "luxury" apartment. We received no check in instructions despite numerous attempts to contact the manager for days prior to our arrival. When we did reach him upon arrival, he came to let us in saying everything was working well. We got one key fob which limited our ability to come and go separately. On our first day the door handle for one of the bedrooms just fell off. The air conditioning did nothing to cool the place and it was uncomfortably hot. The stove top didn't work giving an error message and the shower heads were blocked/mineralized, shooting water in all directions making showering a challenge. The dishwasher didn't clean the dishes and there were no pods provided for the washer/ dryer. There were no cooking oils, or any basics so to cook anything you would have to buy everything including salt and pepper. When we asked the manager to come and fix the stove top and the air con he showed up very late and didn't answer our texts. All in all would not stay here again and this place needs major updates as the water stains on the walls and window coverings and poor maintenance make it anything but luxury."

- "We very much enjoyed this lil flat while visiting London. for the week. The bus route is at the front steps, it is a five min walk to the district line-perfect! Tube station has a pharmacy, small grocery, Pret and other stores. We enjoyed staying in more of a neighborhood than in downtown London with all the noise! We walked to the common park behind the flat and saw kids running and practicing sports, moms chatting, outdoor exercise groups. I felt like we experienced more of London living here. We enjoyed the small patio area! Used it every day. The flat was clean, stocked with some spices, pots and pans for cooking, and cleaning tabs After a few days, we asked for extra towels and they came with a book that explained how to use the stove, AC and other tips. Thankfully my husband figured it all out before the book appeared. It would be nice to have more forks, and more than one set of bath/ hand towels per person. More than 1 dish towel for 1 week stay. There is a hairdryer, plug in fan, ironing board, umbrella and dying rack for clothes. Very nice! Very thankful for the clothes washer! Questions to the owner were quickly answered-much appreciated! - "The flat is well decorated and comfortable. Our only caution is for people with bad hips, knees or ankles. The concrete steps you have to use for entry and exit are very steep. They take a lot of care to navigate, especially with luggage. Parking on the street can be a problem because the city’s payment system is poorly designed and the phone app is worthless as its speech recognition cannot understand an American accent. It’s best to only use public transportation and forget about a car unless you want to pay huge parking fines!"

The space
A self-contained one-bedroom apartment with a beautiful sunny terrace on the upper floor - less than ten minutes from Fulham Broadway and Parson's Green.

The flat is my home which I have started renting out (from May 2024) while I am away. This means you have the place to yourself during your stay, apart from the living room or second bedroom which are locked.

The bedroom has a standard double bed, black-out blinds, central heating and an extra electric heater.

The bed has a comfy mattress, a duck down duvet thin duvet in summer, blanket, plus 4 comfy pillows.

There's a built-in wardrobe and chest of drawers.

The bathroom has a nice big bath and a shower above it.

A hairdryer is also provided.

You’re welcome to help yourself to a selection of teas (green, English breakfast, Earl Grey, redbush, peppermint) and fresh or instant coffee.

There is a fridge, freezer and washing machine which can be used.

Guest access
Guests can access using a key which will be provided upon arrival.

Tea and coffee are provided, and guests are welcome to use the kitchen facilities.

Other things to note
The bedroom, bathroom and kitchen are on the first floor, up one flight of stairs from the front door.

The kitchen has two stools and a small shelf which can be used to eat at, but there is no living space or TV. Hopefully you won't miss this, as there are so many great places nearby to eat or drink!

As this is my home, there will be some food in the cupboards and jars in the fridge which I ask you not to use. There is a great convenience store - Nisa - at the end of the street, open 7am-11pm every day.

There is a beautiful, west-facing terrace on the second floor, above the bedroom - perfect for an evening drink.

There is no parking at the property. The road is permit parking only for part of the day.
