We had come prepared with food some of which had to be binned and we were left with nowhere to stay. We were very disappointed and then had to pay more and book into a hotel to stay."

A 15th Century farmhouse which has been renovated to an extremely high standard and now offers luxurious and spacious accommodation arranged over two floors. The house is set in an unique location with direct access to the River Wey. The area is famous for wildlife and amazing walks to through the Surrey Hills. The house is presented in a home from home style where we have provided several areas to sit with two large reception rooms and a large dining room for entertaining. The kitchen is the master piece of the house and has been hand built by a award winning carpenter. This room is magnificent with a high ceiling and glass doors which lead onto the river. This area is ideal for entertaining as it is open plan and leads onto the reception area. The newly installed Aga is four oven with an additional electric oven. We have a separate utility room and boot area. The master bedroom is exceptionally large with an ensuite bathroom, there are six further bedrooms (four of which are suites). The house offers much charm with an large open fireplace in the family room. We have a Sonos system in the kitchen and the sitting room off the kitchen and two of the bedroom suites. As the location affords direct access to the river, we have placed two Kayaks for our guests to use and this can offer a great way to use the river and explore the stunning surroundings, often ending up at a Gastro Pub. We have recently added a high end Hot Tub which is located on the decking directly overlooking the river. This is a great way to watch some of the amazing sunsets whilst enjoying a sundowners! the Hot tub seats 6 people.

Woking Park is a green oasis with a mix of gardens and open spaces with trees and a duck pond. The park also has Tennis courts, a cricket field, crazy golf, and other amenities (Sports Centre, Gym, Swimming Pool), along with access to a riverside walk.

The space
The town house is quiet and peaceful, we look out onto trees and have the local birds visiting our bird feeder throughout the day, you can easily forget that we are so close to the town centre.

The room overlooks our sunny colourful garden and is light, airy and of a good size. The hosts are most accommodating and helpful. We are 10 minutes walk away from Woking town centre and main line station boasting access into Central London in just 20 minutes.
Woking Park, Leisure Centre, Swimming Pool, Theatre and six screen cinema complex are all nearby along with many restaurants, pubs and other amenities.

The space
Guests share the kitchen/living room and the bathroom with our daughter. Guests also have an area in the garden where they can sit in the fresh air as well as access to several other family seating areas situated around the garden. The clothes line in the garden may also be used by agreement with the host.
