So gorgeous building, lovely room just beware if you need to unload or carry anything or expecting to eat. "

Sofa old, chairs all stained. I have many pictures to evidence my disgust. Couldn't stay as too uncomfortable. They refused to refund me. BE WARNED, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY AND THIS COMPANY. Never felt so mistreated and advert misleading. When I did ring the office number they give you, I never got reply. I rang a mobile number I had for them and the man answered, "this is above my pay grade, ring the office". They have refused to communicate with me. "

Enjoy even the chilliest of days at the cabin! Relax and soak in the scenery and local wildlife in the luxury of your own private hot tub.

After a day spent enjoying the outdoors, you might want to relax in front of the television or just enjoy the flicker of the flames created by our instant-heat electric fire. If you want to prepare your own meals, there’s an oven, microwave and hobs. We’ll even arrange for a food delivery if that’s what you want and store it in the refrigerator ready for your arrival.

Weather permitting, you will be able to sit out on your own private veranda that overlooks the North Downs and dine alfresco. You’ll find a barbecue in the shed we have provided, which can also house any bikes you might decide to bring. Fortunately, The Cabin is completely fenced, with its own entrance and land, so if you do bring a four-legged friend, you can all relax.

We can advise you on local walks and cycle routes, even those including our wonderful local pubs! This area is steeped in history so you might perhaps choose to visit nearby Leeds Castle and find out why Henry VIII stayed there. The shops are a short drive away.

The Annexe is a self contained studio decorated to a high standard attached to the main house. It is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty, on the foot of the North Downs in Kent, ideal for walking, biking, visiting local attractions or a relaxing break. It has its own entrance and private courtyard with a hot tub. Continental breakfast is available at a charge of £8 per person. We can accommodate two adults and a child (additional charge will be applicable for a 3rd person)

The studio has a king size bed, ensuite shower room & small kitchenette. We provide toiletries, hairdryer, and a couple of towelling robes with matching slippers, just so you’ll feel pampered! TV & Wifi. Tea, coffee are provided foc.
There is a toaster, microwave and fridge.
We can also provide a travel cot or single put you up bed at an additional charge. Please request details

Interaction with guests

I generally welcome guests on arrival to the Annexe. It is important that guests get the most out of their stay and so I like to offer any help they may require on arrival. I then leave guests to enjoy their stay.

We are in an area of outstanding natural beauty located at the end of a bridleway/track. Ideal for walking, biking, visiting local attractions or a relaxing break. May not be suitable for very low suspension cars in the winter.

The Annexe is located a mile up a private track/bridleway. Leeds Castle is only a short drive away from the Annexe.

There are also local pubs serving excellent food to walk or drive to. Bearsted Green is approximately 2 miles away.

We have 2 other rooms that we rent out too, so if you are looking for a double, you may consider one of our other rooms. I co-host this property with my mother in law, Bev, who lives downstairs. The entrance to upstairs, where the room is, is totally independant to the main house (downstairs), with its own entrance allowing you to move independantly, without coming through the main house.

Our property is a ditched house at a cul de sac location with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms at top floor. We have a Lounge, dining area and conservatory and a spacious kitchen in the ground floor. Also the property has a corridor and a WC in the ground floor with a generous size Garage. We can park Two cars in the driveway, one will be allocated to the guests. Our property also has a garden at the rear.

Guest access
Guests have access to their double sized bedroom, bathroom with separate shower and bathtub. Guests are welcome to use kitchen if they wish to, prior notice is desired if you need full access, so that we can be prepared in advance. You are welcome to use the two seater table in the kitchen. Guests also can access garden whenever they wish.
