In addition to the usual facilities that you might expect to find, you'll be in for a treat with original artworks, a whole wall of books in the living room (over 1,000 at the last count), a vintage Bang & Olufsen hifi system (with turntable and our record collection), a heap of board games, XBox360 (plus games) and loads of children's DVDs and movies to keep them entertained whilst you're enjoying a drink in the back garden - a total suntrap - watching the butterflies or the sun setting. The house is centrally heated throughout and enjoys a reliable superfast broadband connection through BT Infinity 2 at around 60 Mbps.

Looney Dunes has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 4 adults and 2 children - one master bedroom with a double bed, another main bedroom arranged either as two singles or joined together as a king-size double and a kids' bedroom with 2 full-size bunk beds. The two south-facing bedrooms enjoy views of the sand dunes. In the spacious family bathroom (no bath) there is a spacious shower cubicle with power shower, much the best way to clean away all the fine sand that you bring back from the long day at the beach!

There is plenty of room downstairs too. The house has a living room with French doors that open out fully onto a patio area with a lawn and flower beds beyond, plus floor-to-ceiling bookshelves along the entire length of one wall; a conservatory with dining table and chairs; a fully-equipped kitchen with separate larder; and a downstairs WC and porch area for storage.

The gardens must be our favourite part of this property. The south-facing back garden is the proverbial stone's throw from the sand dunes and is made up of a patio area and a flat lawn surrounded by shrubs and flowers on three sides (and populated by many species of butterfly throughout the long summer days). The garden is fenced all around and is fully enclosed. A high privet hedge in the front garden provides privacy from the cul-de-sac (so no passing traffic) and creates a natural goal for any penalty shoot out! This garden is also very sunny and provides off-street parking for 2 cars (3 at a pinch).

The park facilities are available from 15th March 2024 to mid November. Outside of these times the park still has a full security and maintenance detail but there are no entertainment, shopping or eating facilities available on the park directly but there are many options in the local area.

Number 7 Coastguard Cottages is a 3 bedroom terraced Victorian Cottage forming part of a row of old coastguard cottages right next to the beach at Jury’s Gap, Camber Sands. Just walk out of the door, through the garden and up the steps of the sea wall to get onto the sandy beach. There are spectacular sea views from the upstairs windows.

Number 7 has just been completely renovated with all new electrics, plumbing, kitchen, bathrooms and interiors. The style is light and airy with lots of pale painted wooden floors, whitewashed brick walls, Victorian style bathrooms and retro fittings where possible but without sacrificing comfort. Heating is by electric Victorian-style column radiators and all the windows have removable secondary glazing so it is lovely and cosy in winter. There is a huge hot water tank so you should always be able to have a hot bath or shower when you get back from the beach.

Park your car at the end of the little coastal garden and walk up the steps to the pale blue front door. Enter into the brand new galley kitchen fully equipped with pale grey units, electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge-freezer.
Step up from the kitchen into the dining room with Victorian dresser, bench seating and dining table to seat 6 people plus a small sofa for relaxing. Through the dining room is the TV room with huge corner sofa and 46” wall-mounted TV.

Downstairs in the basement is a cosy bedroom (with window) with a king size bed and a bathroom with freestanding Victorian style bath with shower taps, basin and toilet. NB the basement ceiling is quite low so tall people might be better in the upstairs bedroom!

The storage/laundry room with washing machine and cleaning equipment is also in the basement.

Up the Victorian staircase from the dining room, is the first floor with another light and airy double bedroom with king size bed and a large bathroom with freestanding bath, shower enclosure, basin and toilet. Wonderful views of the beach from all windows in this floor.

From the first floor landing, climb up the quaint little stairs into the attic room with two Velux windows giving fantastic views along the beautiful coastline. In this room are two small single beds which can be fitted together with zip and link mattresses to make a king size double bed if required.

The Camber beach house is located right on the beach and pays homage to its fantastic sky and sea views and reflects its closeness to nature and the environment in both layout and décor. The white walls and wooden floors with seaside chic furniture giving a calm and relaxed atmosphere. This beach house comfortably accommodates 8 people with its large lounge and sun room inside as well as its patio's, veranda and gardens outside.

The park facilities are available from 15th March 2024 to mid November. Outside of these times the park still has a full security and maintenance detail but there are no entertainment, shopping or eating facilities available on the park directly but there are many options in the local area.

Ross(caretaker) was very helpful and prompt with communication. The staff onsite were very friendly. Highly recommend."

Holiday beach bliss is yours, a minute from Camber Sands dunes & beaches, near Medieval Rye, East Sussex. Rye has excellent shopping and eateries and is of significant historical interest. Newly built by award winning architects, this timber build, eco friendly house has a shingle and black clapboard finish, inspired by the Hamptons, USA. It has an open plan living and kitchen area, with two fridge freezers, two ovens & a 'Nikola Tesla' hob. The landscaped garden is fully equipped for showering, outdoor cooking & dining. All 5 double bedrooms (1 in the garden) are en suite, one with a bath. We have parking for 5 cars. We offer 5 bedrooms - three upstairs, one in the purpose built garden house and one downstairs for easy access, for less mobile guests. This room has doors to the garden.
We are dog friendly too. Your dogs will love the open spaces of of our 6 miles of beach and dunes. They can relax in the enclosed garden and wash off sand and mud in our hot or cold garden shower.
Pooches are very welcome almost everywhere, in nearby Rye too.
I can provide dog beds, a travel cot and a single airbed for little ones who want to be in the same room as their parents at night. We are 'day trip close' to a lot of great places including Bodiam Castle, Great Dixter and Dungeness, Europe's only designated desert where you will also find Derek Jarman's beautiful Prospect Cottage ( all about 30 min drive) . Hastings is a few stops on the train from Rye or a 15 mile drive. We are 39 minutes by high speed train from St Pancras International London, then a little train for 10 mins to Rye. Camber is a 10 min drive from Rye. or about a 1.5 hour drive from London.

We love it here. We love the beach, especially the stunning sunsets. We love our local pub The Owl - great food, 3 mins walk. Cocktails and dinner in the garden are a real treat too. The house has been decorated using art and decor from over 15 years of travel. We hope its as eclectic as it is homely and comfortable.

Nearby Rye is a great town. Not only is it beautiful with great shopping and eateries, at Xmas it is simply magical. The bonfire festival in November is an annual must see.

Our house is the result of a long held dream and a picture I drew on the back of an envelope 10 years ago --- and twenty years of saving up. We hope you love it as much as we do.

An original 1920’s beach house nestled behind the sand dunes just a stone’s throw from the picturesque sandy beaches and water’s edge of Camber Sands.

Owlers Retreat is a charming self-catered light filled and comfortable three bedroomed single storey property. Located in a sheltered spot in a no through road less than 1 minute walk from the beach makes for a quiet hideaway.

It has all the mod cons needed for a relaxing break including: central heating; a wood burner stove; modern bathroom with bath and power shower and heated floor; and a fully fitted kitchen with filtered water tap, microwave, dishwasher washing machine and tumble dryer.

Original painted floorboards, contemporary furnishings and super comfortable beds with 100% cotton bedlinen. It has a south facing fully enclosed and private garden. The property opens onto a 20m² deck which is ideal for lounging or dining al fresco. Even on those days when the onshore breeze is brisk, this garden remains a sheltered warm haven fully enclosed so great for children and four legged friends!

There is a lockable single garage to store bikes and water sports equipment as well as a 6m² hard standing that would take a caravan or sailing dinghy. An external electricity point can be supplied if needed.

Owlers Retreat is an idyllic base from which to explore East Sussex throughout all seasons.

Local shops, cafes and the wonderful Beach Bistro restaurant are within walking distance. Beyond the seven mile stretch of sandy beach, windsurfing, kitesurfing and sailing are available at the local water sports centre and the historic town of Rye is a short drive away for shops, pubs, restaurants, fresh seafood and a cream teas. Renowned walking and cycling routes around Rye and the Romney Marsh are highly recommended.

The Barn is a stunning three bedroom holiday cottage tastefully decorated with natural wooden floorboards and top quality furnishings. Set at the end of Farm Lane, surrounded by fields it is in a unique location only a few minutes walk to Camber Sands.

Inside the property
The Barn features a large open plan sitting room, with wooden floorboards, beautifully decorated in muted Farrow and Ball tones, with comfy sofas and chairs. A cathedral beamed ceiling and a large wood burning stove (wonderful after a beach walk) merges effortlessly with the dining area and well equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, dishwasher, hob). With two bedrooms on the ground floor (the kingsize double with ensuite and the twin room), and the large family shower room (which also has a washing machine discreetly hidden in the cupboard).

Master Bedroom 1: The large upstairs master bedroom has a superking bed.
Bedroom 2: Ensuite bedroom with a king sized bed with a stunning headboard (fabric from Mind the Gap) and an ensuite bathroom with a shower/bath, loo and basin.
Bedroom 3: A twin bedded room with 3ft beds, a TV with Amazon Firestick.
All bedrooms have sumptuous Egyptian Cotton 400 thread count bedding and large white bath sheets. (beach towels not provided)

Outside the property
The private garden benefits from sun throughout the day where you can laze around the large deck amongst a seaside themed area with pebbles and driftwood. There is a lawn area ideal for children. The Barn also comes with an outside dining table and chairs, as well as a BBQ and Ooni Pizza oven for those warm summer evenings.

The Barn welcomes up to 2 dogs. There is a £30 fee per dog, per stay. Unfortunately we are unable to add them on through Vrbo so these will need to be paid directly by cash during your stay.

Parking for 3 cars comfortably (4 at a push).

For those with an electric car, a new Hypervolt EV charger has been installed for guests use. (There is a fee for use during your stay plus usage).

Spacious caravan that sleeps up to 8 people situated in the Parkdean Holiday Park in Camber Sands, near Rye. 5 minute walk from the beautiful beach which spans over 7 miles. Our double glazed and centrally heated caravan has all the facilities that you would need to feel like you are in your own home. Situated in a quiet area at the centre of the site - a short five minute walk to the entertainment centre and swimming pools. There is a children’s playground directly in front of the caravan.

The space
The entire caravan is for your use. It has full central heating and an electric fire.

There are three bedrooms plus a pullout sofa in the lounge - so can sleep up to 8 people. There is a children’s play area in front of the caravan. Inside the caravan there is decent size flat screen TV which has all of normal TV channels via an aerial. The TV also has a built in DVD player and there is a good selection of DVDs in the caravan. We also have board games, books and activities for children.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need; including a kettle, microwave, oven, dolce gusto coffee machine, plates, cutlery, cups, glasses, cooking utensils and pots and pans

There are 4 outdoor camping chairs so you can enjoy sitting outside.

Excellent bathroom, with a shower and unlimited access to hot water.

Onsite activities include an extensive entertainment facility centre including 3 indoor swimming pools, 5 a side football pitch, high ropes, climbing wall, an arcade, mini golf, splash park and much much more. There is a full entertainment programme each night in the show bar e.g. bingo, games shows, live entertainment, dancing and disco. There is however a charge for use of these Park Dean site facilities - for pricing and more information please go to the Park Dean website.

There is direct access to the beach - only a 5 min walk away and includes several seaside shops and bars and places to eat.

Guest access
Guests have sole use of the caravan. All of the facilities of the Park Dean Holiday Park are available to guests but passes need to be purchased separately on arrival at Reception. They cost approx £30 for the week.

Other things to note
The rental cost does not include cleaning at the end of the stay or provision of bed linen and towels. All guests must fully clean the caravan at the end of their stay and leave it clean and tidy for the next guests. We therefore cannot guarantee the quality of cleaning as we rely on the previous guests to do it. By exception cleaning can be arranged at additional cost but this must be agreed at the time of booking.

Stylish Eco apartment seconds from Camber Sands, the best beach on the South Coast. The apartment comfortably sleeps 2 in a large light airy bedroom. Plenty of space for relaxing in the open plan living room after visiting Rye and Romney Marsh.

The space
The apartment is a new build with Eco features. Hot water is supplied by solar energy and heating from a ground source heat pump. The rooms are large and furnished with stylish vintage furniture and fabrics. The bed is kingsize, the sheets and towels pure luxurious cotton. There is an ensuite shower room and separate bathroom. The living room opens on to a large deck which overlooks the sand dunes and communal garden. There is a small but perfectly formed well equipped kitchen. I have a fine selection of DVD's and there is WiFi internet access.

The apartment is seconds away from a safe clean sandy beach, fabulous for swimming, walks, kite surfing and kite flying. The ancient town of Rye with its quaint cobbled streets is 4 miles away- a delightful walk along the beach or a quick trip in the car. Rye has many excellent places to eat, fascinating historic buildings and antique shops. There is bird watching at the nature reserves at Dungeness and Rye Harbour.

I would advise having a car to get the most out of the area. But the coast and Romney Marsh are flat so great for cycling. There is a bus service from Rye to Camber and trains run along the south coast to London via Brighton, Hastings, Rye, Ashford then London.
