The Blue Cottage a delightful small dwelling set in a surprisingly large rose filled garden. Stepping inside the cottage was truely a “wow” moment. The interior was striking. Simple but beautifully designed with everything necessary for a self catered stay. The plants and colour coordinated ornamental accessories gave a wonderful “ at home” feeling. Everything was sparklingly clean. Fresh towels on a heated towel rail and a very comfortable bed made for a quite luxurious stay."

119 Middle Street is a Grade II listed property built around 1850's. In its history it has been a baker’s and confectioner's shop, a drapery and fancy goods shop and a provision and cooked meats store! This beautifully decorated 3 bedroom holiday home is perfect for families, or friends looking for a break to escape reality by the calming coast. Dogs are more than welcome, the owners have kindly requested that dogs are not allowed upstairs and there is a stair gate installed for that purpose. The decor has a homely nautical feel throughout the three floors, perfect theming as it is located parallel to the seafront. The location is brilliant, as well is being a pebble throw away from the sea, Deal high street is only a minute's walk away.

The moment you step into 119 Middle Street you will feel totally at home. The 3 bedroom cottage has been very thoughtfully decorated throughout, with colourful artwork, comfy fluffy cushions and attractive furniture. The cottage is an ideal place to visit any time of the year. In the winter you can light the log burner in the sitting room to make it warm and cosy; in the summer you have a wonderfully pretty courtyard garden, where you can enjoy total privacy with seating and a BBQ.

Ground Floor
Upon entering the property you step into the cosy sitting room, housing stylish furniture, a log burner, smart TV (with Netflix) and a large comfy corner sofa - ready for those snug evening's in front of the fire. A step down takes you into a light dining area / kitchen with seating for 6. There are large patio doors from the kitchen to the private courtyard, providing beautiful natural light into the kitchen throughout the day. The well-equipped kitchen is fully fitted with induction hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave and washer/dryer - everything you need for preparing home cooked meals for the family to enjoy.

A good-sized light bedroom at the front of the house with a king size bed - (The mattresses on all the beds are Emma mattresses - luxury mattresses voted by Which guide as the best mattresses of 2019.) The room is filled with beautiful furniture and storage with built in cupboards that house plenty of hanging space.

Carrying on from the landing you step into a large relaxing bathroom in the eaves at the back of the property with a lovely big bath and overhead shower.
Just past the bathroom is another light, airy bedroom with a cosy feel. Two single beds and storage space perfect for children or friends.

Second Floor
A lovely bright master bedroom with a comfy chair by the window to take in the sea views to one side and views of the street on the other - a perfect spot to take time out and read a book. Again this bedroom has been beautifully decorated with stylish furniture, plants and artwork. This master bedroom also houses a gorgeous en-suite shower room, with hand basin and a WC.

Additional information
There are two Echo Dot's in the property - one in the kitchen and one in the master bedroom so guests can listen to the radio/music of their choice in these rooms.
Babies are welcome (there is a stair gate at the bottom of the stairs) and a travel cot is available upon request, as well as logs for the log burner.

Water Street is a gorgeous, terraced Georgian cottage in the sought after Conservation Area of Deal. The owners have used crsip whites and bold greys to create an understated coastal atmosphere using a palette drawn from the seaside. This welcoming, coastal space evokes easy carefree days with lots of light penetrating the rooms. The property boasts three bedrooms, including two doubles and one twin, and will sleep 6 comfortably. We recommend this property for couples, families and groups. Recently renovated with care and attention, we love this accommodation and we think you will too, and it is very pet friendly. The dual aspect wood burner between the dining room and the living room is delightful.
Inside and out, this cottage has a classic yet contemporary look. From its striking frontage with its pretty window boxes to its painted floorboards, stripped weathered pine doors, painted furniture and sash windows this is certainly a property you will look forward to returning to. There is a gorgeous, well-equipped kitchen with American style fridge-freezer and small kitchen table plus a further utility room that leads out to the tranquil courtyard garden with its outdoor furniture and bedding plants. The living room has ample seating around the fireplace and there is a Smart TV with Sky access and wifi available for guest use. The owners have also provided plenty of jigsaw puzzles and board games. There is also a spacious dining room with additional sofa seating and a door to the garden. The bedrooms are stylishly decorated in neutral tones and the twin bedroom is just perfect for children. The master bedroom boasts an en-suite. While away the hours luxuriating in the roll-top bath in the to-die-for bathroom complete with subway-tiled shower.

We had no problem with parking and stayed in July. Overnight is allowed in the street and then we easily found free parking within a short walk to leave our car during the day. We stayed during the heatwave and it was quite hot at night, so some fans would be great for next summer. Aside from that, I really recommend staying at this property."

The Courtyard is entirely self contained with its own private access designed and inspired by our travels to Greece and its beautiful Olive Groves. It provides a tranquil suntrap haven in the day which transforms to a romantic setting with beautiful lighting at night with its own cosy gazebo.

The Courtyard is a secluded guest suite with its own private courtyard offering a double room with a Kingsize bed. It includes luxury designed storage with a smartTV, fridge & dressing area.

The bedroom has a sumptuous feel which is accessed through double French doors which can be fully opened to enjoy the beautiful courtyard garden, however the space inside is not large enough to accommodate wheelchairs. It is well appointed to include a 43" Samsung QLED smart TV, fibrespeed wifi access and an Alexa Echo spot which is a smart alarm clock with many features. Breakfast station includes kettle, toaster and crockery.

*Please note The Courtyard does not have cooking facilities but there are plenty of eateries and take aways close by.

Off the bedroom is the ensuite which has a generously sized shower. Instant and unlimited hot water. There's a feature radiator and a heated designer mirror with either cool or warm light settings. Ample storage for toiletries.

The property is No Smoking/vaping but the outside Gazebo offers a sheltered place for your comfort. Please use the ashtray provided.

- "Ten of us stayed at Regency Beach house and all of us were blown away by how stunning the house is. It’s spacious, comfortable, full of interesting pictures, sculptures and bits and bobs, and has a lovely walled patio garden. The view from the grand lounge, with the French doors open is wonderful and relaxing. There’s a lovely dining room and a cool cinema room. (We had couples in double beds and one of them was smallish, but there were six useable bedrooms so we managed)."

Ollerton is a stunning double fronted Georgian house in the heart of Deal’s conservation area. It is an impressive building, light and spacious with generous sized rooms, and yet has a wonderful welcoming atmosphere, and a truly family friendly, relaxed appeal. Your four-legged friend is also welcome. A main feature of the house is the central stair well, which brings light flooding into all rooms, which have high ceilings and are beautifully and tastefully decorated, with the emphasis very much on reusing and recycling. Many furniture items, artwork and accessories have been sourced locally. The ground floor has a large, and sociable open plan kitchen/dining room, an adorable window seat, and a large picture window overlooking the garden. There are two reception rooms, both with TVs, one with French doors opening onto the garden, the other with a wood burner for cosy evenings. Upstairs is a two-storey suite, and three further bedrooms and family bathroom. Outside, the large walled garden is perfect for relaxing and alfresco dining. Ollerton is perfectly positioned on Deal High Street with its artisan food shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants, and is also just minutes from the lovely long seafront promenade and pier. For guests who prefer country walks and historic sites, there’s plenty of choice nearby, including both Deal and Walmer castles, and a fabulous coastal walk to Kingsdown and St Margaret’s Bay. This flat is located in the centre of town and one minute walk from the beach and Deal Pier. It is close to the shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs and bars.

Please note that the accommodation is above a music bar. Whilst this is absolutely perfect for those wanting to visit the Vibrant nightlife of Deal the weekends have to offer, this space would only be suggested to those wanting to enjoy peaceful time away Mon-Weds.
Our Music licence on Fri/Sat is 1am and 11pm on a Sunday.

The space
There is one main bedroom with a king size double bed.

The lounge is open plan to the kitchen. There is a double sofa bed and extra bedding can be requested.

There is one small bathroom with a shower/bath. To access the bathroom you must walk through the main bedroom.

The property is above a bar, it has steep stairs so would not be ideal for young children, although there are doors that close the stairs off. If booking with Children the quiet times are durning the week. A highchair can be provided on request.

There is a separate entrance to 15A for guests to use.

Guests will be have the entire flat to themselves, including bedroom, bathroom, lounge and kitchen.

Guests will be able to collect the keys from the bar during opening hours. Otherwise we will meet you at the property to give you the keys.

Please ensure the flat is locked behind you and keys posted through the letterbox.

Other things to note
The property is one minute walk from the beach. If you are bringing pets on your stay then please make sure they are taken for regular walks as there is no garden.

The walk from Deal Train station is around five minutes . If you are arriving before your check in time and would like to drop off your cases I can arrange for them to be kept at the bar. This needs to be arranged prior.

There is no parking and Deal parking is very expensive. The best option is to pay to park at Deal Train Station which is £5 per day.

Please be respectful, there is no smoking or vaping allowed inside. Smoking outside the front of the property is permitted, please use the sand bucket provided.

There's a handy corner shop. Lots of cafes/pubs/restaurants within walking distance.

We are a 15 minute walk along the seafront from Kingsdown, where you will find a lovely pub (The Zetland Arms) serving great food right on the beach. The village boasts 2 further pubs, a post office/general store/newsagent and a hairdresser. Lovely walks along the cliffs from here in the direction of St. Margaret's. Deal is a thriving, award winning town just a 5 minute drive away from Walmer and boasts museums, a gallery, the timeball tower, a Saturday morning market with local produce, antiques and collectables. There are interesting pubs serving good food, independent shops and a pier much favoured by fishermen. The architecture is interesting - Deal is famed for its smuggling past. Walmer Castle (home of the Wellington Boot!) is a 15 minute walk from the house, while Deal Castle is a 5 minute drive or 40 minute walk away.

The front door opens into a hall used by guests and my family. I only rent one room at present and you will have sole use of the staircase leading to your room. You are welcome to use the garden. A light breakfast, if required, will be served downstairs in a space shared with me.

Just a stone's throw from the busy High Street and train station, it provides a convenient and characterful base for exploring the town, the local coastline and the wider East Kent region, with its picturesque walks, beaches, and many excellent golf courses.
Pets are very welcome by arrangement.
The garden is sunny and has outside seating to make the best of warm evenings.
