Situated in half an acre of land with beautiful countryside views the property has secluded grounds with it's own heated swimming pool (April to November). Each of the Four king sized beds each have their own ensuite bathroom and shower. There is a large kitchen/diner, large living room and conservatory. Stunning Sussex renovated period barn in the heart of the Ashburnham Vale, sleeps up to 10 people, with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Large open plan living area with a central featured fireplace incorporating a log burner, this area is open to the roof with original beams, overlooking a kitchen / dining room, and separate laundry room. The layout of the barn consists of three bedrooms downstairs. There is a standard double room with a wet room attached. The other two bedrooms consist of a children's bedroom, which has two bunk beds with a pull out single mattress and a single bed. The other double bedroom has a 5ft kingsize bed. The family bathroom is also on the ground floor with a large bath, toilet and sink.

The northern end of the High Street is the Almonry, originally built in 1090, which houses the Battle Museum of Local History. Here you’ll find the world’s oldest Guy Fawkes – or at least his head, which is made of pear wood, and his silk cloak. Thought to be more than 200 years old, he is still in active service and leads the Battle Bonfire Boyes on their fiery procession through the town each November.
At the southern end is Battle Abbey, and behind it the once-bloody battlefield, now a peaceful meadow filled with wild flowers and birdsong. Here you can stand at the very spot where King Harold is said to have died.
