This quiet studio is a 15 minute walk from Ewell West train station for a 35 minute direct train to Waterloo.
The studio has;
- fully functioning kitchen (combination microwave, induction hob & a milk frother (a necessity in my world)) with dining table,
- relaxing space to watch TV
- dedicated work space with great internet access,
- cosy yet firm double bed, all feathered pillows and duvet
- skylit shower bathroom,
- free parking,
- washing machine available (on request)
The space
As you can see from the photos, it’s a lovely open space to enjoy. I’m all about warmth and convenience so there’s plenty of radiators to keep you warm and all you need to feel cosy and relaxed in this space. I’ve even added in a heated blanket to snuggle up on the sofa, though it gets pretty toasty in there.
For those that maybe visiting for work, there’s a dedicated office space and we have fibre 500MB, (my husband works in broadcast so he needs the best of the best.)
The studio has proved very convenient for visiting grandparents, those attending Laine Theatre Arts in Epsom and tourists popping in and out of central London for the weekend.
It’s also one train to Wimbledon for the much loved tennis! 🎾
You have the choice of 3 cafes, all within 5 minutes walk off Chessington Road, (Luna, Cafe Rosana and Edens Little bakery). You’ve also got Tamarind Spice, Orissa, Tops Pizza and Ewell Fish Bar and Kebabs if you don’t fancy cooking.
Guest access
This studio is all yours, it’s not shared during your stay.
You’ll notice we’ve popped a grab bar in the shower for those who may need steadying/support.
A family member who relies on a frame and a wheelchair uses our Studio sporadically and appreciates the accessibility it provides.
Other things to note
I will take photos of the outside of the Studio in daylight when the weather is behaving, haven’t had the chance yet since I started hosting at the start of Dec 2024.
The photo of the moon will show 2 orange lights, one is from our neighbours (top orange window) and the other is from our dining room so it gives you an idea of how far back the studio is set from our house.

Situated within the grounds of a private property, set back from the road in a leafy residential part of Epsom. Welcome to our peaceful, detached annex offering flexibility, comfort and outdoor space.
International guests will find us conveniently situated within 30mins drive of London Gatwick and Heathrow Airports (traffic permitting) and 40mins by train into central London.
Ideal for those needing a base to enjoy the delights that Surrey has to offer or somewhere quiet to work from.
The space
The Annex can accommodate up to 4 guest (two adults and 2 children See photos for sleeping arrangements)
You will have your own private access with a single parking space. Our annex has a large sitting room with dining area, kitchenette, double bedroom with en-suite shower.
The rear of the annex opens on to a delightful patio area overlooking the garden. The modern covered Pagoda offers the flexibility to make the most the great British weather!
Guest access
Included is private and exclusive access to the secluded outdoor area. Guests are fee to use the patio, pagoda and lawn area within the graveled boundary. Access beyond the graveled area is not permitted.
Other things to note
Home made bread, preserves and a selection of cereals, milk, teas and coffee is provided to cater for the first morning of your stay to get you going.
