- "We stayed here weekend of 14th July. The staff were very friendly and obliging - nothing was too much trouble. Breakfasts were tasty, the coffee ( Italian) is excellent and there is an extensive gin menu - what's not to like!! The decor in our room was a bit tired looking but it was clean, comfortable and very welcoming. I think this place is probably on the up and we would be happy to stay here again. Very convenient if you are travelling by train as it is literally just opposite the station. However, if you are coming by car, there's a convenient car park at the back of the hotel.
