Our small 18th century barn is the converted village forge and is perfect for any time of year - a cosy winter break by the wood burner or summer outdoors in the private cottage garden. We're in a central village location, in a forgotten quiet part of Suffolk known as The Saints. Surrounded by beautiful walking and cycling countryside, yet only 15 miles from Suffolk's best beaches and Southwold. The barn shows it's heritage with beams and vaulted ceilings, yet has a modern open plan layout.

The space
Perfect for a couples retreat, the cottage is in the heart of the small village of Saint James. The main living space is open plan. The handmade kitchen has everything you'll need - oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, butlers sink, lots of cookware, crockery etc - an antique dining table that seats four, and a very comfy sofa to cosy up by the wood burning stove.

There is also a small study and we have superfast broadband - very rare in Suffolk! So The Old Forge is the perfect place to work, as well as relax.

The small bedroom has a double bed and small wardrobe and we provide the best white linen and towels for your stay. There is a sofa bed in the study, so the cottage works as a place for friends to stay as well as couples. We make a small charge of £14 to cover laundry costs for the extra set of bed linen if you require the sofa bed.

The bathroom has a bath and electric shower.

Outside there is a supply of logs for the wood burner that you're free to use. Deck chairs, outdoor bistro table and chairs and a barbecue all mean you can enjoy the secluded cottage garden. If you have green fingers please feel free to help us keep the weeds at bay!

We love dogs so if you have one small well behaved dog that you'd like to bring along, please do. There are lots of fabulous walks right from the cottage.

It's also perfect cycling country - bikes are very welcome as well.

There is safe off street parking at the front of the barn. A car is essential as sadly there is no public transport in this part of Suffolk.

Or if you're feeling fit you could bring your bikes and cycle from Halesworth station which connects to the London intercity line at Ipswich.

Other things to note
We make a small additional charge of £30 if you bring a dog with you - this covers the extra cleaning required after your stay. Please be sure to add a doggie guest when you make your booking.

If more than two people are staying then we make a charge of £20 per night for each additional guest. Please be sure to tell us at the time of booking how many people will be staying.

If you need to use the sofa bed then we make a charge of £35 to cover the laundry costs for the extra bed linen and towels. This will be added as an additional cost after you have booked.

Crabtree Cottage is located in the rural village of Drinkstone, 8 miles from the market town of Bury St. Edmunds, 6 miles from Stowmarket and within easy reach of Newmarket and Cambridge. An ideal area for walking or cycling with plenty of good local pubs. The cottage has its own entrance, sunny sitting room with French doors to garden, kitchen/dining room and stairs to spacious bathroom and double bedroom. The owner has a fox red labrador.

The driveway and garden is shared with the owner who lives in the house attached to the cottage.

Guests are welcome to enjoy the shared garden and may park in the main driveway.

Grade II former Baptist Chapel, built in 1824 and carefully renovated to provide a warm and comfortable holiday let for a relaxed stay. With underfloor heating and hot water from a ground source heat pump. On the edge of the pretty village of Bardwell, 8 miles from Historic Bury St Edmunds and in the centre of East Anglia. There are many interesting places to visit within easy travelling distance. No 2 is the old Sunday Schoolroom and was rebuilt in 1984 but converted to living space recently.

The space
No.2 is to the rear of the chapel. You enter through a hallway. The living room has a TV, sofa, table and chairs and a fully equipped kitchen. The bedroom has a king size bed and plenty of storage space for clothes. The bathroom has a shower over the bath. Outside there is a small brick patio with table and seating. There are old mellow graves and wild flowers growing in the grassy area. Through a gate is a pretty walk through more old gravestones and a small wooded area, this is shared with the guests in the main chapel. It is a quiet pleasant area.

Other things to note
1. We are sorry we are unable to accept dogs or other pets on any part of the property.

2. There is a strict no smoking policy everywhere on the property and this includes e-cigarettes.

3. Guests can arrive after 4pm on the first day, and should depart by 10am on the final day. Soon after arrival guests are expected to read the information leaflet. It is very important that guests do so as it tells you about fire safety, reporting any problems and security. Information is also provided on how to use appliances as well as on the local area and places to visit.

4. We try hard to maintain high standards of cleanliness at all times. Whilst we do not want our guests to spend their holiday cleaning we expect to take back the accommodation in a clean and tidy state.

5. We do not believe in providing unnecessary and potentially wasteful items and to reduce waste:
• We only provide hand soap, guests need to bring their own toiletries.

6. Old batteries must be disposed of correctly or given to the host separate from the rubbish or recycling.

7. Bedding and towels are changed every 7 days or at the end of a shorter stay if applicable.

8. Some tea, coffee and laundry washing liquid are provided. Washing up liquid and tea towels are provided. Some cleaning materials are also available.

Fisherman's cottage, just a stone's throw away from Kessingland's award winning beach, and not far from both Southwold and the Broads, is perfect for a Suffolk coastal break.

This cosy cottage is ideally situated near a free car park, children's park and a fish and chip shop (all less than 100 metres away), and the beach is only 400 metres away.

The space
There is a cosy lounge downstairs as you enter the property, a separate dining room and a well-equipped kitchen. There is also a downstairs WC and a lean-to for storing bikes, beach stuff etc.

Please note the property does not have a garden or any outdoor space of its own.

Upstairs the master bedroom is a large double and the smaller bedroom has twin beds. The bathroom is upstairs and has both a bath and a separate walk in shower.

Other things to note
Dogs are welcome at the property but we request that these remain downstairs only and off the furniture.

We provide some doggy treats and a couple of bowls for food and water, please bring your own dog bed and blankets. The throws provided for cosy winter nights in are for human use only!

There is no parking at the property, the space outside is for drop off and pick up only. There is a free public car park at the end of the road (about 100m away) which is where guests should park their vehicles.

Pet friendly accommodation. Holly meadow cottage No3 The Street, Bramfield, is a 2 bedroom cottage set in the lovely village of Bramfield close to Southwold in Suffolk. We have a large fully enclosed private garden with access points from the street. Perfect for bicycles push chairs or buggies. It is a child/pet friendly environment. The cottage sleeps either three adults or two adults and one child.
The staircase is slightly steep and may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.

The space
The cottage is in a perfect position to explore the countryside as well as the lovely Suffolk coastline. The sitting room end of the cottage has a fireplace which can be used in the winter months. It is a very cosy comfortable are to sit and relax. We have full central heating for water and heating. The large garden has a patio area with table and chairs plus sun parasol. Please note that we do not provide Wi-Fi at the cottage.

Dogs are not permitted in the bedrooms or on the furniture. Any damage or fouling made by a dog MUST be reported immediately to the house keeper.

The Old Library is suitable for singles, couples with up to 2 children or 3 adults. The building dates from the early 19th century and the core building was originally the forge which serviced the adjacent maltings. It has been completely refurbished, insulated, and brought up to modern standards. Being a single-story building it has easy access and the clean white walls, light oak flooring and large windows give it a light aspect, while the woodburner makes the lounge a cosy room in winter.

The Old Library is a newly renovated single level cottage in the centre of Wickham Market within the Suffolk countryside and close to the coast. The Library provides:

Hope Cottage is small but perfectly formed. Hope Cottage is a pretty and charming cottage located in the popular village of Ufford close to Woodbridge and with easy access to the Suffolk Heritage Coast, Sizewell and Ipswich.

On the ground floor, there is a lovely sitting room complete with an open fire, perfect during the winter months. It also has a new smart TV.

There is a fully equipped kitchen perfect for any chef wanting to create a culinary masterpiece using some local Suffolk produce; the kitchen includes a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, and fridge freezer.

Stairs from the sitting room lead up to the first landing, there is a luxury bedroom with a king-size bed made up for you with Egyptian cotton linen.

The bedroom is light and airy with a lovely big built-in wardrobe, a hairdryer, and a fan for those very warm summer nights.

The bathroom is luxurious, with a lovely big deep-set bath, a walk-in shower, WC and washbasin... luxury white and soft bath and hand towels are supplied.
