Upstairs, floor to ceiling windows let nature pour in to this 3-level, 2000 sq ft home with designer furnishings. - "love it" - "My extended family had a wonderful time over a weekend in mid Feb. We used the pool table (felt is in good condition & level) and large TV in the downstairs game room several times. Kitchen is well stocked with tools for any meal, including the deck grill. Bedrooms are large with comfortable beds & pillows. Wifi is fast enough and reliable, even with several devices connected. The external fireplace is a nice touch for heating & ambiance, however only premade firelogs are allowed. The heater works well throughout the whole house. There are lots of windows on the main floor to view the front & side. We happened to be there for a large snowstorm which was fascinating to watch. The front downstairs door is locked by keypad so no key necessary...very useful for multiple people. Location is very convenient. This was our first trip to Wrightwood and we were pleasantly surprised at how close the house is to the town. There's a pizza place two doors down and a brewery just around the corner. Everything's in walking distance. Tips: - Main level shower pressure is very low so add some time to your shower. - If you're there in the winter, be prepared to shovel the driveway exit if it snows (shovel provided). They apparently use a service to clear the driveway but timing is variable. - They have a coffee pot but no Keurig. There was half a bag of coffee but not sure if this was from the previous renter. Bring your own ground coffee. A very fun experience for the whole family!"

- "Great location. Cozy, clean place" - "We had a wonderful stay at Peaceful Pines. The cabin is warm and comfortable, clean and welcoming. The property is nicely furnished, well supplied, the perfect place for a quiet getaway. Our hosts kept in touch and were available for anything we might need (although we did not need anything that was not already there). Wrightwood is a quiet and friendly mountain community. Everywhere we went the people were friendly and helpful. My only caution about the property is that this may not be the best place for seniors with mobility or balance issues. The front steps and the shower/tub could present some challenges. With that understanding this is a warm and comfy place for a winter getaway. We will have to come back and try it out in the summer!"

The Moonlight Retreat is an 850 square foot property originally built in 1932 which has been lovingly restored and redecorated by the homeowner. Cozy on up next to the wood burning fireplace underneath the wood vaulted ceilings and enjoy the magical atmosphere that only the mountains can provide. The cabin offers a fully stocked kitchen for all of your cooking needs, a beautiful open concept bedroom, a closed-off bedroom, and a full bathroom.

The best part about this cabin is the large charming outdoor space. The entire property opens to an expansive side & front yard that provides great space for enjoying the mountain air. The back yard features an outdoor dining bistro set for 2 and a Jacuzzi.

Bedroom 2: Full bed; the head and foot of the bed are walls, so please note this room is better suited for children or shorter individuals

Ideally suited and priced for two guests. We can accommodate up to four, but there is an additional $25 per person per night.

Kitchen: Two small sized refrigerators with small freezer compartments, gas range, gas oven, microwave, Keurig pod & drip coffee maker. Fully stocked with utensils, crock pot, cookware, and dishware. Our tap water is good for drinking, cooking, and everything else.

Dining Room: Located next to stairs in the main living room. Small sized table ideal for 2-4 guests.

Parties or loud activity will not be tolerated and will be subject to $1000 noise violation plus additional fines issued by San Bernardino County and termination of your stay.

The lodge is located one block from downtown Wrightwood and 4 miles from Mountain High Resort. The downtown area offers great eateries and entertainment, including local shops, a brewery, live music on select days, and a farmers market every Friday.

There is an abundance of gorgeous hiking trails perfect for either a quick stroll and a picnic, or more strenuous hikes to epic vistas overlooking the surrounding Angeles National Forest. For travelers looking to explore local Southern California the property is located only an hour and a half from the famous Southern California beaches. Where else can you ski and surf in the same day?!

Please do not press any other buttons, as that will disable to system.
Keep the ceiling fans on low to move the hot air down from the ceiling for circulation throughout the cabin.

SNOW ETIQUETTE:
Chain control: 4x4 and All Wheel Drive vehicles must have mud and snow or snow tires and carry chains for access in snowy weather.

Parking and trespassing violations: Many locations on the mountain are private property and violators trespassing onto private property may be cited or arrested.

Trash: the public is reminded to take out what they bring in, including trash. Please if you pack it in, pack it out!

Weather hazards: Snow and rain increase hazardous driving conditions, so please exercise additional care when driving on slippery or iced over roadways.

- "Stayed there with my college-age daughter for a few nights and we both just loved it. Pictures are accurate - the decor and ambience is unique, cozy and beautifully done. Loved using the hot tub at night (even in August, it cooled down enough to get in!), having coffee and wine on the front deck area, and walking into town for dinner and the Friday Farmer's Market. We were welcomed with fresh flowers and apricots and other nice touches. Neighborhood was quiet, and I took a lot of walks. We also enjoyed the views at Inspiration Point, and ziplining. A great stay, and would love to come back again! Very memorable stay with my daughter."

Pet Policy

Aery Pines is pet friendly for 2 pets maximum. We ask guests to pay a $50 pet cleaning fee at reservation. Any additional pets will be considered for an additional $25/pet. Dogs must be crate trained for when the owner is away from the property. Guests MUST notify us prior to their arrival if they are bringing a pet & the breed/size.

50% of the pet fee is donated to a local animal rescue: Beazy Farms Animal Sanctuary.

Everything in the village is walk-able. Only one block from town to grab coffee, a bite to eat, or do some shopping to support the locals. A 5 minute drive to Mountain High Resort for skiing, snowboarding, tubing, disk golf, etc.

Our neighborhood is quiet, and mostly inhabited by locals. We welcome guests who want to experience Wrightwood like a local, including respecting quiet hours, parking and respect of wildlife and nature.

Please note:
> We have two portable air conditioning units (placed in the living room and upstairs master room) for the summer months. We recommend opening windows at night and closing them in the morning to retain cool air throughout the day.
> Our home is across the street from our small elementary school in town. If you are visiting during normal school days/hours you will hear kids playing & the school bell ringing. There is also a small skate park down the road where you may hear skateboarding.
> This is a quad level home with 4 different staircases. Stairs must be used to enter home and access bedrooms.

SNOW ETIQUETTE:
Chain control: 4x4 and All Wheel Drive vehicles must have mud and snow or snow tires and carry chains for access in snowy weather.

Parking and trespassing violations: Many locations on the mountain are private property and violators trespassing onto private property may be cited or arrested.

Trash: the public is reminded to take out what they bring in, including trash. Please if you pack it in, pack it out!

Weather hazards: Snow and rain increase hazardous driving conditions, so please exercise additional care when driving on slippery or iced over roadways.

Blue Jay Hideaway is the perfect escape to the mountains with all of the everyday comforts of a home.

LOCATION: Our cabin is located in a quiet cul-de-sac, and half a mile from the village. Enjoy a lovely walk to breakfast, or to grab coffee.

BEDROOM 1: Large bedroom, with king size bed | BEDROOM 2: Open loft area with a king size bed, no door, and a workspace l BEDROOM 3: Two twin size beds on the lower floor.

PARKING: There is space for a maximum of two vehicles in the driveway.

BACKYARD BUILDING: We are still working on making our backyard fully kid friendly, however please do not let the kiddos into the future playhouse.

PET POLICY: Blue Jay Hideaway is pet friendly for 2 pets maximum. We ask guests to pay a $50 pet cleaning fee at reservation. Any additional pets will be considered for an additional $25/pet. Dogs must be crate trained for when the owner is away from the property. Guests MUST notify us prior to their arrival if they are bringing a pet & the breed/size.

Guests will have full access to the cabin, other than a few locked cabinets.

Quiet neighborhood close to the village with great mountain views.

Everything in the village is walk-able. Only a few blocks from town to grab coffee, a bite to eat, or do some shopping to support the locals. A 4 minute drive to Mountain High for skiing and snowboarding.

We`re happy to share local tips and advice about our mountain. If you have any questions during your stay, we are one text or phone call away.

We can occasionally offer early check-in or late check-out, depending on the reservation ahead of and after your stay. If you would like an early check-in or late check-out just let us know. Late checkout runs about $20 per hour.

- "Wish our 5-day stay could have been longer in this cozy, super clean, kid friendly cabin! We even had snow… in May! My grandsons had so much fun and the three-year-old cried when we were packing up to go home. He did not want to leave! They played Corn Hole every day and not only was there a trunk full of games that we all enjoyed, there was a basket of toys for our dog to enjoy as well. Loved the other little thoughtful touches such as packaged toothbrush kits for the boys and roasting sticks for the fire pit.
