Situated on the edge of the village of Penn in The Chilterns, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty between Beaconsfield (3 miles) and High Wycombe (6 miles). The area offers superb scenery, tucked-away villages and market towns. Enjoy some of Buckinghamshire’s lovely countryside walks, bridleways and cycle paths straight from the door. It is only 30 minutes’ from the Henley Regatta and Thames Festival. There are several stately homes and National Trust properties and gardens in the area, including Hughenden, West Wycombe Park, Maidenhead and Cookham Commons and Cliveden. Great Missenden, with its curving high street of half-timbered houses and Georgian shops, and the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre, is just over 6 miles away. Marlow and Henley provide attractive access for riverside walks along the Thames Path. Aylesbury and other large towns including High Wycombe, Milton Keynes and Windsor are all less than 1 hour away. Please can all guests ensure their pets are washed in advance, subject to requirement as this will avoid unnecessary loss of hair. - "It was a relatively reasonable price for 4 days in February. Kitchen was great, bed was comfortable, lovely bed linen. But the bedroom is very light, with a security light shinning directly into the room all night, which didn't suit me, but I know others who like a light bedroom. Good wifi, Smart TV lots of choices. Not particularly comfortable furniture in the lounge, but then I am a bit of a lounge lizard and the 2 seater sofa doesn't allow for lounging! I would stay again."

This cosy cottage is well situated in the centre of Old Town Beaconsfield, where you can unwind in peace and explore what the town has to offer.
Beaconsfield has a great mix of restaurants, pubs and high end shops. The nearest pub and restaurant is 200 yards away and the Crazy Bear Hotel is 500 yards.

Other things to note
The parking is at the back of the cottage, accessed via a shared drive with my (one) neighbour. It is fairly tight in terms of access and suits smaller cars. I use the space for my 4x4 but I am used to it. Just a heads up. Parking is also available on the street and is not restricted at all.

A unique, luxury, 4 bedroom, English cottage, in the Chilterns. Walking distance to town/train/shops/pub and 30 mins by train into London.
