Recently refurbished, brick and flint cottage, within the grounds of a Georgian country house. Very pretty views over landscaped gardens and farm land. The cottage is extremely well equipped with a log burning stove, full central heating, modern bathroom, dishwasher and washing machine. Ample car parking is available behind locked gates.

Worplesdon village has three pubs all serving food, a bakery and a church. There are a number of golf courses close by.

Guildford and Woking are a short drive away, Worplesdon station provides access into London Waterloo (34 mins). There is a bus service into Guildford.

The space
The recently redecorated cottage, has a well equipped kitchen with a Nespresso maker, washing machine and tumble drier, a separate dining room and spacious living room overlooking the orchard.

The bathroom and separate toilet are located on the ground floor. Upstairs, are 2 good sized double bedrooms - one with a double bed and sink and one with twin beds.

Please be aware that the stairs in the cottage are relatively steep, and although there are handrails on both sides, the cottage may not be suitable for people with mobility issues, or young children.

Guests can access the entire cottage apart from the storage room at the top of the stairs.

Guests are welcome to enjoy the orchard behind the cottage.

If you would like to combine your visit to the cottage with a guided tour of the area, please let the owner know. They can also arrange skills training or mountain bike hire if you want to explore the trails for yourself.

Upstairs you will find the two double bedrooms and the family bathroom. The owner owns the village pub, The Hurtwood Inn, which serve authentic Italian food in the heart of the Surrey Hills. Take a break in the peaceful surroundings of the Surrey Hills. This is a one-bed cottage with own bathroom, living room and kitchen. It is set in a private home on the outskirts of Shamley Green. Amazing walking and biking is all around and we are just 15 minutes by car from Guildford so very convenient. Lovely country pubs in walking distance.

The Coach House, has recently been completed to the highest standard and provides open plan, accommodation and kitchen area. The finishes and furnishings are of excellent quality, giving a home from home feel with a sophisticated and stylish ambience.
To the rear is a bijou patio area with seating and table. A parking space is provided.

The space
The main area is double height and is therefore light and airy, with access to a washing machine. In addition there is a cosy balcony area with a double bed tucked under the eaves approached via a library ladder, so really great for a teenager or adult who likes it a bit quirky. Not suitable for anyone under twelve.

• Face masks - useful if you are visiting any popular tourist attractions, where the volume of people might make it difficult to social distance. Fabric masks should be washed each day so you may need to think about packing a few if you are planning regular days out.
• Disposable gloves - if you need to top the car up with fuel or use an electric vehicle charger en-route.
• Hand sanitiser - for when out and about, where it may not be possible to wash your hands.

• First aid kit - including Paracetamol and a thermometer.
• Picnic blanket
• Wind break or markers - if you are concerned about social distancing at the beach or in the park, then a wind break or similar may help guide small children to a ‘safe’ zone.
• Tickets / advance bookings - if you are planning to visit a local attraction, you may need to book in advance while entrance numbers are reduced, to allow social distancing. Please check before you leave and if possible book your slot in advance.
• Card and board games, books, etc- you may want to think about a few games to enjoy at your holiday home. Games, and books etc may have been removed for your safety.

• Food - if your local shops are currently busy, then the ones in smaller towns and tourist destinations are likely to be even busier. Many of the big supermarkets have more delivery slots opening up, particularly if you order in advance. When arranging key collection, you could ask the owner about local farm shops, which may be offering deliveries too.
• Bin bags - although the property owner will leave you bin bags, they will not necessarily know how much rubbish you will accumulate during your stay, so best to be on the safe side.
• Pets - if the holiday home is pet friendly and you are bringing your dog along, please remember to bring the bed, blankets and towels as well as their food and water bowls. You may want to consider bringing throws for the furniture.

Period cottage in the charming village of Shamley Green, 4.5 miles from Guildford town centre in the heart of the Surrey Hills. Recently refurbished and in the grounds of a private house. This property is not suitable for retirees or children/infants.

The space
The exceptional situation of this cottage makes either a perfect retreat for walkers in our area or a convenient place to stay if you are on business here and/or visiting friends.
With it's own enclosed courtyard it is quiet and peaceful. It is an old coach house and retains many of the original period features. It is stylishly decorated with an oak floor downstairs, carpet upstairs and cosy, comfortable furniture. Open plan kitchen/living space, private courtyard with outdoor table, chairs and covered seating.

It is close to Guildford and Godalming and there are a number of country walks from the front door. Winkworth Arboretum and the Surrey Hills are a short drive away.

My house is a three storey semi-detached victorian cottage. It has been renovated and extended sympathetically and retains its original features. It is filled with an eclectic mix of furniture, so if you like unique, vintage and different this home will be for you!

Sapperton Cottage is set in the beautiful grounds of our country house, a stone's throw from the pretty Surrey Hills village of Peaslake, with its country pub and cute village store.

Enjoy our tranquil setting, in an area of outstanding natural beauty, with amenities such as mountain biking, hiking and horse riding on the doorstep - or just sit on the comfy outdoor sofa in the orchard next to the cottage!

The cottage is fully detached and located about 10m away from our family home.

The space
The recently redecorated cottage, has a well equipped kitchen with a Nespresso maker, washing machine and tumble drier, a separate dining room and spacious living room overlooking the orchard.

The bathroom and separate toilet are located on the ground floor. Upstairs, are 2 good sized double bedrooms - one with a double bed and sink and one with twin beds.

Please be aware that the stairs in the cottage are relatively steep, and although there are handrails on both sides, the cottage may not be suitable for people with mobility issues, or young children.

Outside, guests are welcome to enjoy sitting in our orchard.

Guests can access the entire cottage apart from the storage room at the top of the stairs. The storage boxes in the cupboard under the stairs are for private use only.

Outside:
Guests are welcome to enjoy the orchard at the back of the cottage. The rest of the gardens are private and we ask that guests do not access them please.

The family tennis court is behind the cottage. The family will occasionally be using this space and will need to walk across the orchard to get there. The tennis court is not available as part of the cottage let.

Parking:
We have a dedicated area for guests to park one car in the driveway, next to the black metal lamp. We cannot accommodate extra vehicles, but there is plenty of free parking in the village.

If you loved “the Holiday” you will love this quintessentially English cottage! This gorgeous cottage is a timber-framed Grade II listed terraced property, protected as a building of special architectural and historic interest. The older part of the house, comprising the dining room and bedroom above, dates from the early 16th century. The cottage is beautifully decorated in Laura Ashley and is an absolute delight and has a lovely view of the pretty gardens and the picturesque Surrey hills.

The space
The cottage has two bedrooms with double beds, and a sofa bed in the lounge. However, there is a maximum limit of four adults, although child guests may be allowed to a maximum of six people in total. Outside there are three patio areas for outside dining, a lovely pergola, a gas BBQ and Wendy House for children. Inside there is a spacious kitchen, cosy dining room for formal dining and a log burning stove in the lounge which provides ambience and warmth. Typical of the era, it has a crooked roof and lots of beams so mind your head!

As you enter the cottage through the pretty front door you come into the integrated shaker kitchen. Turning left you have the lounge diner with a cloakroom adjacent. From the landing is a door which takes you onto a small balcony with staircase that leads to the grounds. In total the area in the cottage is 750 square feet.

Accommodation is ideal for families and professional people. We provide a welcome pack of refreshments for your arrival. We can provide toys if you let us know the ages of any children. The sitting room has comfortable seating and smart TV, games console and DVD player. Double doors lead out on to the patio overlooking the garden with outside seating and BBQ. A second double bedroom with king size bed and TV, and a further two single bedrooms with plenty of wardrobe space. There is a family bathroom with full size bath and walk-in power shower.
From the cottage there is easy access to A3. M3 and M25. Regular bus service nearby to Aldershot and Guildford Town Centre. with its old cobbled high street and restaurants, cafes, cinema and theatres. There is a fruit and vegetable market every Friday and Saturday. There are regular trains to London Waterloo from Guildford or Worplesdon Station which take 34 minutes. Wisley RHS gardens are a 20 minute drive from the cottage. Farnborough and Bisley are a short drive away. Also Chessington World of Adventure and Thorpe Park are within 30 minutes drive.

A beautiful, quiet location to relax and also with easy transport connections to central London, the historic towns of Guildford, Farnborough, Wimbledon, Windsor, Portsmouth, Hampton Court and Royal Horticultural Society Gardens at Wisley. The cottage is situated in woodland at the end of an unmade track which can get potholed in bad weather but is completely accessible with a standard car
