Enjoy the tranquility and comfort of our
renovated Victorian Gate Lodge near Cashel in Co Tipperary. The Lodge has been in our family for 5 generations and has been a much loved family home. It is full of character with comfortable beds, a cosy sitting room and well equipped kitchen . The Lodge is situated only 7km from the Historic town of Cashel, and is in a very central location for touring most parts of the country.
The space
The self catering accommodation is one half of the extended gate lodge. Guests will be staying in the renovated 1847 building.
The Lodge is full of the character, with its high ceilings, thick walls and working fireplace in the sitting room . We've added plenty of modern comforts too, comfy beds, WiFi and smart TV as well as a recently renovated bathroom .
The sitting room is cosy and great for relaxing in but there is a desk if you want to work.
We've tried to think of all the things you need in a house to make you feel at home.
There are 2 bedrooms one with a double bed and the other with twin beds, these beds can be put together (on request) to form a superking bed.
We can supply a travel cot and high chair on request.
Other things to note
There is tea, coffee, milk, sugar as well as bread or scones and butter available on your arrival.
For stays over a week heating and electricity will be charged as used
