Small bedroom with 2 single beds in a charming bungalow is located 3 minutes walk to a lovely small cove and plenty of countryside hikes. One and a half miles to town. Have breakfast with a sea view. Host lives in the home and is available to answer any questions and give suggestions for a memorable holiday. An indoor dog lives here (please watch him as you drive in or out- he's old) as well as horses might be in the paddock. Bathroom is shared for the shower. I have my own toilet.

The space
Really nice views of the sea and countryside from my dining table. One small bedroom with two single beds. Beautiful sunroom/dining room for breakfast or afternoon tea. One shared bathroom with shower and no tub. Short walk to the cove style beach. Safe swimming when conditions are right.
3 minute drive to town. This is not a catered Bnb. This is my home. Tea and coffee making facilities always available and you may use my kitchen if you clean up your mess. There is no dishwasher. Internet access and suggestions for local activities. No children under 8 as there are animals living in the house as well as on the property.

Guest access
Plenty of parking and patio furniture. There is Internet access and a sunroom/breakfast room to relax in. Coffee and tea making facilities are always available. You may use my kitchen but there is no dishwasher and you need to clean up after yourselves. This is my home not a catered BNB.

During your stay
I am available for any help during your stay. I can recommend good places to eat as well as assist you with reservations for activities. There is a friendly indoor dog named Teddy. My horses Grace and Jesse are in the paddock most days. Please dont feed the pony as he can nip fingers.

Other things to note
This is my home and I am happy to share it with you. There is a picnic basket to borrow. The bathroom is off of the main living area and is shared with me. I do not allow children under 8 as I have animals and do not want the liability for injury.

My home is great for couples and solo travellers; it's in a semi-rural position only three minutes' drive (or mile and a half) from Dingle pier - walking takes 40 minutes. Breakfast is included. Dingle is small with award-winning restaurants, cosy music pubs, art galleries and a colourful array of craft, Celtic jewellery and gift shops, including Dingle Crystal. Action seekers will love local sea fishing, Eco boat trips, horse riding, pitch & putt golf, soccergolf, canoeing and hill walking.

The space
DINGLE has amazing places to eat but if you wish to have takeaways you can eat them here in the kitchen provided you make arrangements with me first as I may be cooking an evening meal.

Its a haven of quiet within steps of a unique pub . You will feel at home by the fireside but company is not far away if you feel like it. You can walk to all of Dingle's main attractions ( and there are many )

Other things to note
Note that this property is near our pub ( not attached to it ! ) and up 2 sets of steps to the rear of the garden. There is an exit you can use which is private and leads down a lane to the seafront. There is a full kitchen but we serve breakfast, lunch and dinner in the pub if you are taking a break from cooking ! If you are a traditional music fan you are in a great place here ! Also we are fluent Gaelic speakers .. We can get by with our French too ! The local craft beers are a big favourite with us , and we have a Whiskey ( or is that Whisky?! ) section in the bar ..
If you have a bike it will be quite safe here . We have lots of cyclists who stay regularly.

Note : There are two showers , on is attached to the main double bedroom and is a straight forward dial type . The other is an electric shower and the switch is on the linen cupboard at the top of the stairs . It is hot automatically.
The temperature of your hot water is controlled by the thermostat in the cupboard/hot press upstairs. Turn the dial if you feel the temperature is too low. 60 degrees should be about right . The hot water is on a timer but you can boost it at the control panel in the kitchen and its ZONE 1 .

you will find an iron and ironing board , Upstairs there is a hair drier .
If you feel like lighting a fire please get fuel in the supermarket or fuel merchants ( unless there is some in the place already which may be the situation in winter )

A charming cottage - near 170 years old - light, spacious and colourful. Retaining some original Kerry features has kept it characterful yet modern. Three large bedrooms and an open plan living/kitchen area is perfect for families or friends. It's a tranquil and friendly place, on the Dingle Way/Kerry Camino, an hour’s walk to Dingle or 10 minute drive. Surrounded by gentle green fields it looks out on the beautiful Short Strand, Dingle Bay, McGillycuddy Reeks and, on a clear day, the Skelligs.

The space
The front door opens onto the open-plan kitchen/dining/living area, with a wood burning stove/fireplace. At either end of this space are two large bedrooms, one is en-suite. Next to this bedroom is another bathroom. Up stairs, originally the hay barn, is the third bedroom with an en-suite half bathroom. Two king size beds, one double, plus one single put-you-up, if required.

Guest access
All of the cottage and yard with outside dining area and pizza oven. No grass but flowers in spring and summer. A small fence and partial trees separate the property from our house (my husband, Bruce, and myself).

Other things to note
We have a friendly dog. But we perfectly understand if guests don't want to be friends and we'll make sure she's unavailable.

This peaceful country cottage is located just over 2 miles from the Colourful town and fishing port of Dingle, in the tranquil village of Doonshean. Within a 10min walking distance of the beach, the senses are both simulated and calmed in views of lustrous greenery, blue Atlantic Sea, with sounds and smells of sea salt, birds song and country life. If your looking for a country hideaway but close to the culinary and cultural hub of a coastal tourist town, Doonshean Dingle is for you!

The space
The cottage is based in the quiet Doonshean village, in what our family referred to as the meadow. The house is built midst country life with the kitchen and sitting room looking out on green fields, hills and distant animals.
