The space
Wisteria Cottage is a self contained cottage located in a courtyard of an organic beef farm. The building is 150 years old and has been lovingly restored from a range of farm buildings, with wonderful thick walls with electrical heating.
The large Kitchen/Living room has beautiful vaulted ceilings and is comfortably furnished with two sofas and also features an electric Stove. A DVD player and a good selection of dvds and games are provided for entainment.

Guest access
Our guests exclusive use of Wisteria Cottage during their stay. We have excellent secure off road parking. We love animals and a well mannered pet is welcome by prior arrangement. For 2021 we have created a beautiful private garden for the exclusive use of our guests. This contains a great covered deck which we created from a old hay barn. With great wicker sofas and a lovely old rocking chair, this is the ideal place to watch the sun go down or come up in the morning.
Other things to note
Wisteria Cottage is located within the Marble Arch Geo Park and is an Ideal base if you plan to climb the "stairway to heaven" in the Cuilcagh Mountains.
We are 5 minutes from the Slieve Russell Hotel if you are attending a wedding or family event.
We do have Free internet access for our clients, but it is a rural service.

- "Lovely place" - "Lovely cottage with great outdoor area regardless of weather. Very peaceful, close enough to amenities and outdoor activities. Neighbours were hens and geese." - "Had a very enjoyable stay. Cottage is spacious comfortable and well equipped with nice outdoor space." - "The kitchen has a good range of tools and equipment. A popcorn maker was provided with a complimentary packet of popcorn to try (which we did not). Although not in the description I read, there was an air fryer provided which we did try and found useful (we do not have one at home). There was also a coffee maker and there were coffee pods supplied which my wife made full use of! And there was a proper tea pot supplied and backup tea bags were available. There were just two of us, so it was a very spacious property for us which was useful for the amount of luggage we had due to a wedding attendance. The main room had plenty of seating for 4 individuals and the dining table would also be suitable. The fridge freezer was very useful and the cooker was acceptable. It was in the main very very quiet. The only sound you could hear were cows mooing in the morning and the occasional passing farm vehicles. The property was just a 10 minute drive from Ballyconnell where there was a large (for Ireland) supermarket which was more than adequate for food and drink supplies. It even had a butcher’s counter and fresh fish counter which we used and were very pleased with the products. A very enjoyable place to stay and we would fully recommend it."
