Welcome to Ash Cottage and Mango Cottage, two beautifully designed, self-contained one-bedroom cottages nestled on our peaceful 10-hectare farm in Hazyview. Each cottage is private, spacious, and thoughtfully styled with luxurious touches, perfect for couples or solo travelers seeking a serene escape.

Both cottages feature open-plan living areas filled with natural light, king-size beds with premium linen, en-suite bathrooms, fully equipped kitchens, air-conditioning, fans, heaters for cooler evenings, and complimentary Wi-Fi and DSTV. Each has its own walled garden, covered stoep, and braai area—the perfect spot to enjoy a sundowner while soaking in breathtaking views over the Sabie Valley.

Outside, your private space invites you to unwind, dine al fresco, or simply take in the peaceful farm surroundings. Our property is fully fenced with secure parking and gated access for each cottage.

We are a working farm, so expect a gentle start to your day with the quiet hum of morning activity. We grow our own vegetables, and when in season, fresh produce is available. You’re also welcome to join in on farm life—feed the horses, and chickens, or collect fresh eggs from our chickens. Our two friendly resident horses roam freely and are always happy to say hello (especially if you have a carrot!).

For families, we can provide a child’s guest bed in the bedroom for a small additional fee (R150/night, payable on arrival). Please let us know in advance if you'd like this option.

Each of our one-bedroom cottages is fully self-contained with its own private fenced garden and gated entrance. Upon arrival, you'll receive your own set of keys and remote, giving you complete freedom to come and go as you please—both through the main farm gate and your cottage gate.

Guests are welcome to explore the entire farm, where you can meet our friendly free-roaming horses, chickens, Ducks, Impala, Nyala, and Blessbok or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Whether you prefer total privacy or want to experience a bit of farm life, the choice is yours!

Each of the two en-suite bedrooms boasts a king-size bed with luxurious linen, storage, and a full-length mirror. The bathrooms include large walk-in showers, and for year-round comfort, the bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning / heater, and ceiling fans.

Set on our peaceful farm, the cottages offer a unique country experience. Expect the gentle sounds of weekday farm life, our friendly horses (who love carrots), chickens, Nyala, Impala, and Blessbok. Fresh Farm eggs are available for purchase at reception with available.

Privately-owned thatched self-catering chalet (sleeping six people) on the award-winning Legacy Hotels, Kruger Park Lodge golf estate in Hazyview, Mpumalanga. Located in a peaceful area of the estate, overlooking a golf fairway. Swimming pool one minute away.

The space
One double bedroom upstairs with a balcony looking out over the fairway to the hills on the far bank of the River Sabie. Two twin bedrooms downstairs, one with a door out on to the large wooden braai deck. All bedrooms are air-conditioned and have dressing tables and duvets. Three bathrooms, all with a bath; two of them have a separate shower. Spacious, open-plan living/dining/kitchen area. Baby cot (subject to availability) can be provided.
