The Boomerang : Tree Frog is a very unique cottage. It's cosy warm in winter and refreshingly cool in summer. And it's very, very different. The cottage is shaped like a boomerang with two bedrooms with queen size beds, a fully equipped kitchen and modern bathroom. The cottage has gorgeous views over the Johanna Valley, with native forests and the Great Southern Ocean in the distance. Three acres of landscaped gardens are home to a wide variety of birdlife. The space
The Boomerang : Tree Frog is a fully self contained, boomerang shaped, architecturally designed, award winning cottage. The cottage is surrounded by three acres of landscaped gardens which are home to a wide variety of local bird life. The views from this private cottage are spectacular. The distinctive boomerang shape enables 280 degree panoramic views over the Johanna Valley, native forest and the majestic Southern Ocean. Our guests' comfort is our highest priority. Facilities include: Huge open living plan incorporating fully-equipped kitchen, dining and living area. Accommodates four adults comfortably.

Other things to note
We allow dogs but please let us know prior to booking what breed of dog you have and their age. You will also need to bring your own doggy bedding. Please note: Dogs are strictly not allowed in the bedrooms.

Joanna Cottage: Architecturally Designed Retreat with Spectacular Johanna Valley and Coastline Views

The space
Joanna Cottage is one of our architecturally designed retreats, nestled in the sand dunes with breathtaking views of both the Johanna Valley and the coast.

The cottage boasts a light-filled, open-plan living and dining area, complete with a fully equipped kitchen featuring electric cooking, a dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, and a coffee machine (compatible with both beans and ground coffee). Step out onto the enclosed deck to soak in the panoramic ocean and valley views while enjoying a meal prepared on the Weber BBQ. Inside, unwind on the cozy window seat, basking in the sunshine and gazing out over the scenic landscape, or relax by the warmth of the wood fire.

Joanna Cottage is fully self-contained, offering three comfortable bedrooms and one bathroom. Two bedrooms are furnished with luxurious king-size beds, while the third bedroom is equipped with two king single beds. The bathroom includes a bath, a shower, and a vanity, with a separate toilet for added convenience.

The cottage is a short 650-meter walk to Johanna Beach and features a fully fenced yard, perfect for pets.

During your stay at our Great Ocean Road accommodation, you'll have full access to our on-site amenities, including an indoor heated communal pool, a veggie garden, and fresh, free-range eggs from our chicken shed. All of our beach cottages are pet-friendly, making Joanna Cottage an ideal choice for a relaxing getaway.
