You don’t even consider it until it ruins your vacation. However, keep in mind that the Lake Tillery area frequently loses electrical power in the summer from strong thunder storms. This affects the entire Lake Tillery community. This home has a whole house automatic backup generator installed. No possibility of suffering from the seemingly constant power outages that Lake Tillery residents endure all too frequently in the summertime which causes the loss of air conditioning and electricity for 24+ hrs.

We have over 160 feet of lake shore at the end of a cove. Five kayaks, a 5-person pedal boat, PFD in various sizes and inner tubes provided. Pontoon and bass boats usually fit at the dock. Lot is gently sloped, with no stairs or cliffs to navigate like elsewhere on the lake. Host feeds fish each night. Feel free to join in!

Ample parking just steps to your private entrance. Exterior video security ensures your vehicle and personal safety. The suite has a few stairs to enter. Inside is one level, but not wheelchair accessible.
No smoking anything, anywhere on property strictly enforced.

Yes, the entire place is private, but we share a roof. The entire downstairs is yours, but it’s bright and well-lit, not a basement. So yes, the owner might be on site, but you never have to see me. We don’t share anything but the dock, and I avoid it if you’re using it. Again, sunny walk out/ first floor apartment.

Your pets are always welcome. Small fee per night for extra cleaning required. I don’t want to be one of those places that fees you for everything, but pets are special and when I travel with my fur-babies I expect this. Documented service animals always welcome at no charge. ESA must be under control at all times, never left alone and be fully house broken. Failure to comply will result in forfeiture of deposit and reporting to hosting platforms for fraud.

Special note about holiday bookings: New Years, Christmas, Labour Day, Memorial Day, July 4, Thanksgiving, Valentines Day holidays will have a STRICT cancelation policy. You will be notified before booking that your request falls into this category.

We try to stagger all maintenance and lawn care between guests to optimize the tranquility of the suite. Depending on weather, length of stay and random luck, some routines may have to be conducted while you are visiting (weekly hot tub test for instance). If we have to intrude on your space in any way, we promise to give ample warning. In case of lawn maintenance, we attempt to get it all done while you are out exploring the area. This is not always possible and may result in a short period of noise. Thanks for understanding.

New kitchen appliances, & updated light fixtures adorn open concept kitchen/dining area. New LVP floors in all bedrooms. Large computer niche in master bedroom, perfect for working remotely. The in-ground boathouse is perfectly suited for lakefront relaxation. A 2-bay covered boathouse & pier is a short, gentle sloping walk from screened-in porch, lined with Edison bulb string lights all the way to the pier. Due to allergies, pets not permitted. Also, no parties and no smoking. Pontoon boat not included in rental. All beds have plush pillowtop mattress toppers. All rooms have black out curtains and one room has a sound machine, pack and play, and toddler cot.

Home is 10 minutes from Stony Mountain Vineyard, Uwharrie Mountain Trailhead, downtown Albemarle, and Morrow Mountain.

This property is unique as it’s in Jacob’s Creek cove on LKT where boat and jet ski traffic is little to none. The cove also has a nature preserve where you’ll see wood ducks fly in, blue herons raise their chicks each year, ospreys hunt in the evening and you can kayak to see beavers!

The Blue Heron Bungalow is named for just one of the many birds who occupy our cove. The blue herons have a nest in the tree across the way and raise their chicks every year. You can catch our blue heron friends “fishing” off the dock roof most mornings if you’re up early enough! We love to watch them and appreciate their presence as they eat/deter snakes (we haven’t seen a snake the whole time we’ve had the property and we give credit to our feathered friends/namesake).

The home has 3 bedrooms (2 kings & 1 queen), one pullout couch, 2 full bathrooms and has an outdoor shower on the side! The home is setup/focused on letting as much light in and enjoying the amazing views. Each room has its own tv (fire stick) and there are cards and board games around the house for you to enjoy.

Kayaks and floaties provided for enjoying the lake. Bluetooth speakers are all set for listening to music on the deck. The dock is covered and uncovered for however much sun you want to soak in! We have a hammock and manual jet ski lift you can use.

All motorized vessels should be mentioned prior to booking.

Enjoy the dock with water 10ft deep (no diving) in one of Lake Tillery’s favorite coves known for being private and across from a conservation area.

No HOA so you can come and go as you please. For the safety of you and your vehicle, and to maintain house rules, exterior security cameras are in use. Mostly they are used for watching birds, but they are there just in case. They will be able to detect how many people you bring with you. 8 MAX.

The bungalow is 10 minutes to Albemarle center with grocery and dining options (you can even DoorDash!) while also being a 5 minute drive to hiking/outdoors.

Neighborhood suitable for short walks but car preferred for anything beyond. No sidewalks. No public transportation. Bike routes nearby, but when we’ve asked friends who’ve biked Uwharrie and come to this area for the trails, they would not call the area `bike-friendly`

BUT The Uwharrie bike trails are amazing and only 5 miles away.

Up in the yard there were chairs set around a fire pit, and another set on the deck next to the house with comfy cushions kept in a bin. The house was well stocked with utensils, basic supplies, games, and towels. The beds were comfortable, and It was handy to have a washer and dryer, and 2 full bathrooms. The only very minor inconvenience were the barn doors that connected two bedrooms to a bathroom in between. We had a 9-month old baby with us, and the pack n play only fit in those two bedrooms. Barn doors do not close into frames, so light and noise from the bathroom and laundry make it not very private. They were adorable, but not great for noise privacy. Not a deal breaker, but worth mentioning. The whole house was nicely decorated and very comfortable, and the owners quickly responded each time I had a question. We enjoyed our stay very much!"

We had a large group and the living areas were great for hanging out. We spent a lot of time on the deck. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were great. Welcome to Pavilion Point, our childhood home on Lake Tillery, a 14 mile long, all sport lake. Please note our home is NOT PET FRIENDLY any longer. Your hosts are 3 sisters who want to preserve our family home. It is our pleasure to share it with you to enjoy the beautiful lake, and the quiet peaceful surroundings. You have full access to fishing rods, large pad float, 2 large umbrellas, and folding chairs for the pier. Our house is located on the open channel, a very rare rental to find. So you get to enjoy all the passing boats and swim right at the dock. There is a ramp for easily launching your canoe, paddle boards and kayak (you are welcome to bring those). We have a pole docking system that will accommodate 1 boat. I'm sorry, we are not able to accommodate multiple boats and we so not allow boats to tie up to our dock posts. The poles are 20 ft apart and can accommodate a boat between 16 ft and 24 ft- approximately. You will launch your boat at the Swift Island Boat Ramp (3 miles drive) or Lilly's Bridge (10 mile drive). Or you can rent a pontoon boat from Lily's bridge Marina. If you want a guided pontoon boat tour on the lake, that is available and I can share the contact with you. The home is immaculate and well maintained, situated on over 3 acres with 500' of pristine waterfront ready for your enjoyment. Lake views from all common areas and 3 of the 4 bedrooms, and sunrise views year-round. The sunset will light the entire lake orange in the evenings! Unique features of the lake house are endless.

- "This property was luxury all the way. It was clean, relaxing, and the bathrooms were like a high-end spa. We sat outside on the deck, under the huge trees, whenever we could. We can't wait to stay here again. Owner provided luxurious furniture, products and appliances. They even had a welcome basket for us. We had an issue with the hot tub, but the owner came out within an hour and resolved it for us. The house sits just at a curvy hill, so please be cautious when pulling out of the fantastic circular driveway."

We have a lovely back deck that is surrounded by trees. It’s the perfect place to do some bird watching. You may even see a deer or bunny at times.

There is a nice community pool that looks out at the lake (open from end of May - September each year), community boat ramp, playground, tennis/pickleball court, basketball court, and trails through the gorgeous woods. Located conveniently to Morrow Mountain State Park and Uwharrie National Forest, you can enjoy the outdoors very easily.

Bring your boat with you! You can bring your boat or jet skis inside the community (pay $25 Boat Fee at the Gate). The boat/jet skis must come back to the home each day as there is no dock for guest use. There is plenty of parking at our home! Please let us know if you are bringing a boat or jet ski.

- "This is a fantastic location. Nice, quiet, and plenty of room to roam around. If the weather would have been a little more favorable, we would have enjoyed spending more time outdoors. But, overall, it was great. The host is top notch and VERY accommodating. All of the campgrounds were booked up and since had kids with us we could not camp primitive (not yet at least). So I started looking at other options and found this lovely property. We ended up renting the barn also so that if we wanted to sleep in a bed, we had that option plus it kept any other strangers from renting it. We had the entire barn, kitchen, bathrooms and the space around for camping to ourselves. It was fabulous! The owners made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed including setting up our fire pit every day while we were gone! It was about a 25 minute drive to the El Dorado Outpost and a 5 min drive to Badin Lake where we played in the water! There was plenty for us to do on the property too with bikes for us to ride. We cannot wait to come back and bring more Jeeping friends with us! Thanks for a fabulous stay!"

This location was great as we were close to family and friends at the Albemarle hotel and to the wedding venue.
