- "If you want peace, quiet and a lovely lakefront stay, this is your place. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. It even has a smart TV. We had everything we needed and communication was very quick. We absolutely loved sitting on the back porch enjoying the lake and bird watching. The cabin needs an update/refresh though. My recommendation to make it a more pleasant stay is to put a screen door on the back door to the porch to prevent bugs from coming in the house. I didn't appreciate seeing dead animal parts on the walls. We tried to ignore it but none of us liked that. The house is dark and needs new silverware and at least one chef knife to make cooking/eating more convenient. Otherwise I would stay there again."

There was no way to use the featured lanai as there was no furniture out there, We also believe the owners were staying in a trailer just behind the property as an extension cord was run from the hous to it, which was creepy."

This 110 yr old home that wont let time forget is located in Bartow's charming Historic District. The streets are lined with oak trees and the house sits catty-corner to the famous house which appeared in the 1991 hit movie "My Girl" locally known as the "My Girl House". The house is within walking distance to Bartow's downtown business district where numerous restaurants, stores, boutiques and The FrontPage Brewery are located. Blocks away are SR-60, 98,&17. within an hr to Tampa & the Parks.

This old house mixes old with some new. With 3 bedrooms, Bed Room 1 has a king-size bed, a 55" Samsung Smart TV. ,large chest dresser, a large closet with plenty of hangers.

Adjoining the gym, there is another full bathroom with a shower combination laundry room with a washer and dryer.
The entry area of the living room is an entertainment area that contains a foosball table and a pinball machine. Also located in this area is a functional Great Northern Popcorn machine. Popcorn and bags are provided.
The living room area is furnished with two full-size recliner sofas, sofa chair with an ottoman. The backyard has a children's play swing set with 2 swings, a platform, and a slide. The rear outside of the house has an enclosed patio with a 4 chair patio table and two chaste lounge chairs. A park-style BBQ grill is also located in the rear just outside of the patio.

If required items (ID of all guests, agree to rules & waiver, names of all guests, and reason for the trip) are not received or the guest refuses to provide, the guest will need to cancel their reservation and no refund will be issued. This is a Brand New Construction Duplex one side is listed on Airbnb. Bartow is half way between Orlando’s Disney World and Tampa’s Bush Gardens ( A Short Commute).

Downtown Bartow features: kid friendly festivals, farmer's market, parades, murals, landmarks, parks, church bells and many more activities.

Other attractions are Wonder House, Trailhead Bike Trail, Mary Holland Park, Nye Jordan Park and Fort Blount Park.

Charming Bartow, Florida. This 1 bed/1 bath apartment sits above my detached garage/horse barn (steep stairs) it is perfect for a relaxing stay! It is not fancy but it’s cozy and safe. Historic home built in the 1920s. I hope you love her as much as I do. We are 2 minutes from downtown Bartow situated in the beautiful Nye Jordan Park.

* Please understand horses are not home during Hurricane Season. It is not safe for them and they are moved to a safer location during the Hurricane season.

Comfortable, clean and safe. Newly renovated kitchen and bathroom shower. I have always prided myself on trying to keep everything as original as possible but it is definitely a beautiful space for our future guest and I’m sure you will still appreciate all of the history.

I’m sorry my cleaning fees have gone up but obviously I want to keep every guest safe and healthy especially during these times. Please know that I do have the apartment professionally cleaned and disinfected (between every guest).

The main home and property is shared with many very very loved animals and some wildlife too. This includes 3 large protective but sweet dogs in the main house (and occasionally designated backyard space but never left out unattended), a outside cat that does occasionally like to visit, 3 chickens (in a pen they do not roam) and 2 spoiled horses. They are the most important thing to me and I will protect them. Please be respectful to them and their spaces or I will ask you to leave without refund. Please also know that we will respect your space too and none of the animals go into the apartment.

***Most animals that live on the property are rescues including the horses. Horses can not be ridden by guest. I do ask all guest to please not go into the pasture with horses***

Note: During Hurricane season my horses are not at this location. For their safety they are relocated to safer pastures not in the city! Unfortunately, this year (2022) I had some major structural and tree damage so they are coming home a little later than usual. I’m planning on them coming home the first week of January 2023 ❤️

The centerpiece of the modern themed bedroom is a lavish, king sized bed adorned with crisp linens that promise a restful night's sleep. It has two large closets, plenty of storage space for extended stays. It has black-out curtains, which make it great for sleeping in. Smart TV.

This adorable bedroom has twin size bunk beds with an additional twin trundle. Lots of extra pillows and blankets. Black out curtains for restful sleep. (This room currently does not have a door on it, it was a converted office. We have curtain hung and we hope to have a door soon.)

Guest bath is complete with a small sink and a shower. We provide shampoo, conditioner, and body wash as well as plenty of towels.

Cozy space with lots of natural lighting. Queen Size memory foam sleeper sofa as as well as a big screen Smart TV.

This home is part of a duplex, we do not rent out the other side. The owners will stay occasionally. The two properties are completely separated and fenced off.
