Our luxury vacation home is located in Lake Wales, centrally in Florida, in the middle of the orange plantations. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and is fully equipped with all the luxury you want for a wonderful holiday. In the garden you will find the beautiful private swimming pool. From the terrace and swimming pool you can enjoy the wonderful sunny days and the warm evenings that Florida offers throughout the year.

Spacious, cozy living room with TV and DVD. The living room is adjacent to the open kitchen with bar, making it pleasant to talk from the kitchen with friends and family in the living room. Have a drink with a snack at the bar if you want to relax in the cool surroundings of the air conditioning after a wonderful afternoon at the pool!

This three bedroom two bath home is located on a quiet neighborhood street. The back yard faces a canal that leads to one of the cleanest and most beautiful lakes in Central Florida, Crooked Lake. We strive to create a clean, fresh, relaxing place for our guests to stay.

The house has fresh paint and we have installed new flooring in most of the house. We provide bedding suitable for your comfort and a good night's sleep. There is a king size Sealy Black Beautyrest in the master bedroom. The family room is outfitted with a leather sectional and love seat which feature recliner rockers, recliners and motion recliners.

While dining inside you can enjoy looking out on the water where we frequently observe a variety of water birds and ducks. Some of the birds frequently sighted are wood ducks, whistling ducks, great blue herons, little blue herons, white ibis, ospreys and many more.... less frequent visitors such as the bald eagle and roseate spoonbills are also a treat to see!

Outdoors we have a covered breezeway which is a nice open place to sit outside. The back yard is fenced allowing plenty of room for your dog to get some outside time.

Crooked Lake is listed as one of Florida’s Outstanding waters and is a large lake, over 4,000+ acres. It is a favorite fishing destination for local and traveling fisherman. The perimeters of vegetation and brush around this lake make excellent cover and habitat for largemouth bass. Bring your boat and fishing gear to discover why Florida has been described as the “Bass Capital of the World”. Other freshwater game fish to try for are specs, bluegills, shell crackers and catfish. Many fisherman enjoy a peaceful evening of night fishing for specs! Other lakes in the general area are Lake Kissimmee, Lake Walk-in-the-Water, Lake Clinch and Lake Reedy.

In addition to fishing, Crooked Lake is known as a great lake for swimming, water skiing, kayaking, paddle boarding.... just about anything to do with water. It’s just a great lake! There are two boat ramps on the lake, one public (on Little Crooked Lake) with no charge and one private (Bob's Landing), with a small charge (take cash). Bring your boat and you can park it right behind the house when you aren't out fishing, boating or swimming!

This spacious brick home is located on a quiet neighborhood street. The back yard faces a wide canal that leads to one of the cleanest and most beautiful lakes in Central Florida, Crooked Lake. This home was purchased in the last year, and we are striving to create a clean, fresh, relaxing place for our guests to stay. (We also have two other homes on VRBO, #2128618 Crooked Lake Gem, it is located in the same neighborhood and Lake Reedy Living, #3196099 on Lake Reedy in nearby Frostproof.)
The house has three living areas each with comfortable power reclining leather seating. The large galley kitchen is adjacent to the dining area and family room. It has all of the large appliances one would expect. The full-sized washer and dryer are located in the house at the far end of the kitchen.
The three bedrooms and both bathrooms have been freshly painted and are outfitted with the furniture you need for a comfortable stay. The master bedroom has a queen bed, the corner bedroom has a king Serta Black Beautyrest mattress, and the front bedroom has a queen bed. Each room has new bedding.
The house also has a double garage and carport for parking in the shade, or plenty of room for a boat trailer. The BEST part of the house, in our opinion, is the waterfront location leading to the lake.

Our home has 2 bdrms the master has a king ized bed and there are two twin beds in the second bdr. There is a comfortable sleep sofa on the 4 season lanai and a futon in our "flex room". 2 full baths. It’s just down the road from Peppa Pig theme park, Legoland, and Bok Tower Gardens. Walking distance to the lake and playgrounds! The house is historic on the outside but newly renovated on the inside! Two very comfortable queen beds, full kitchen, incredible walk in shower and the host leaves little amenities like snacks, toiletries, and even spices and foil. It was located in a safe, quiet area and our elderly cocker spaniel even found himself comfortable. We plan to visit this property again soon! Don’t pass this one up!"

4 br 3 bath - nearly 4,000 sf LAKEFRONT home with a grand 10+ person hot tub (NOTE: not a Jacuzzi with bubbles and jets) with an outdoor heated shower in Lake Wales, Fl. The Master suite has a king bed and dedicated bathroom. Ensuite 2nd master has a king and dedicated bathroom, 1 br has a queen bed and shared bathroom. We have a pull out couch in the office. Additionally, there is enough space in the family room to set up a blow up bed. There is a crib and pack and play available as well.

We are set up for kids with a sand and water table out back, tricycles to ride on the oversized lower back porch or in the front drive. Volleyball court can be set up. House sits on nearly 2 acres of beautiful lush green property, which is perfect for a family gathering or picnic. Huge kitchen! Great sound system, karaoke machine, and music room.

The family room and one of the bed rooms is full of toys and games. We have Cable, a Firestick, and tons of recorded programing.

Our home is clean, comfortable, and in a very safe neighborhood. This will be a home away from home. If you want to feel at home with the little things that make a home feel like a home, with plenty of room to have your own personal peaceful vacation, then this is your place. We have lots of toys, swings, slack line, a hot tub, pool toys, books, games and more to give you that old-fashioned lake house vacation near several fun attractions.

Two private lakefront acres located near historic downtown Lake Wales, a walk to the Orange Blossom Review Music Festival, Mardi Gras festivities, and Lake Wales Art Festival which are directly across the lake. On clear nights you can hear the music from the these events in our back yard, just a 3 minute drive to Bok Tower (We have passes that our guests may go for free to Bok Tower), 15 min from Legoland, and tons of great fishing and hiking spots in the area. Our northern friends love to bring their boats to water ski in our lake during winter months. We have a large driveway and garage to allow for boat parking.

45 min - 1 hr Disney, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, and Disney Springs; 2 hr from Clearwater Beach or Coco Beach (we are in the dead center of the state); 1 hr and 20 to Universal Studios; great fishing in Kississmee State Park; several great state parks to hike and be one with nature. Winter water-skiing!

The owners did off us an addition 2 nights at another time and would run some machine then to run off the lizards. We declined but thanked them for the offer. We spent over 800 for 5 hours at this cabin. Would not return. "

Each evening at dusk the sun sets across the lake, beautiful, awesome, can't say enough!
Our house is fully equipped with everything a vacationer would need, and more. Kitchen includes; all the normal things, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, mixer, blender, cups, dishes, silverware, utensils, pots & pans, mixing bowls, foil & plastic wrap, dish cloths & kitchen towels, napkins, paper products, sorry no dishwasher. Bathroom includes; tub with shower, towels-bath, hand, washcloths. Sorry no washer & dryer, but there are sheets for 2 twin XL beds or 1 queen bed, comforter, pillows, blankets.

The beach is in your back yard, (Mother Nature controls water levels in Florida lakes, we make no guarantee on water height, which effects the beach area). You can enjoy fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, lots of birds in the yard, Sandhill cranes, herons, ducks, egrets, marsh hens, eagles across the lake in the orange groves. If you own a motor boat or ski boat you can keep it at the dock. We do not rent our boat lift. There is no public boat launch, only residents can get on the lake, you launch from your backyard. A 4-wheel drive is recommended for launching a ski boat.

Cute older house with modern amenities. Located right downtown within a block from the playpark, Lake Wailes lake, walking path, and the historic downtown shopping area. All of the appliances in the home are brand new, as well as the washer and dryer.
There is a large TV in the living room, as well as one in each bedroom - each with Roku and Netflix.
Each bedroom also has a mini split A/C unit to sleep as cold, or hot, as you like.
Parking is in the rear covered carport.

The space
The house is approximately 80-100 years old with the original floors throughout most of the house.
The home has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. Both bedrooms have a queen size bed, TV and mini-split A/C. And keeping in the AirBNB theme, there is a queen size blow up deluxe 18" mattress in the closet that can be used for 2 more guests.
The bathroom and kitchen have both just been renovated with new tile, cabinets and appliances.
The internet is fast and there is a failover backup in case the primary internet goes down.
Unfortunately, the yard is still getting worked on but should have new sod within a few weeks.
There is no fence around the yard.

This three-bedroom two bath home is located on a quiet neighborhood street. The back yard faces a canal that leads to one of the cleanest and most beautiful lakes in Central Florida, Crooked Lake. The home is a recent purchase and we are striving to create a clean, fresh , relaxing place for our guests to stay.

We have provided bedding suitable for your comfort and a good nights sleep. There is a king size Sealy Black Beautyrest in the master bedroom. The family room is outfitted with a leather sectional and love seat which feature recliner rockers, recliners and motion recliners.

While dining inside you can enjoy looking out on the water where we frequently observe a variety of water birds and ducks. Some of the birds frequently sighted are wood ducks, whistling ducks, great blue herons, little blue herons, white ibis, ospreys and many more.... less frequent visitors such as the bald eagle and roseate spoonbills are also a treat to see!

Outdoors we have a covered breezeway which is a nice open place to sit outside. The back yard is fenced allowing plenty of room for your dog to get some outside time.

Crooked Lake is listed as one of Florida’s Outstanding waters and is a large lake, over 4,000+ acres. It is a favorite fishing destination for local and traveling fisherman. The perimeters of vegetation and brush around this lake make excellent cover and habitat for largemouth bass. Bring your boat and fishing gear to discover why Florida has been described as the “Bass Capital of the World”. Other freshwater game fish to try for are specs, bluegills, shell crackers and catfish. Many fisherman enjoy a peaceful evening of night fishing for specs! Other lakes in the general area are Lake Kissimmee, Lake Walk-in-the-Water, Lake Clinch and Lake Reedy.

In addition to fishing, Crooked lake is known as a great lake for swimming, water skiing, kayaking, paddle boarding....just about anything to do with water. It’s just a great lake! There are two boat ramps on the lake, one public (on Little Crooked Lake) with no charge and one private (Bob's Landing), with a small charge (take cash). Bring your boat and you can park it right behind the house when you aren't out fishing, boating or swimming!

For those that love theme parks, the Orlando theme parks are only an hour away....Walt Disney World, Epcot, MGM studios, Animal Kingdom, Universal Studios, and SeaWorld. Legoland in Winter Haven is a twenty minute drive. And Busch Gardens in Tampa is 1hr 15min away. Nearby cities are Lake Wales, Winter Haven, Lakeland, Auburndale, Haines City, Frostproof and Bartow. For a dip in the salt water, this home is in the center of the state, a short trip to either of Florida's coasts...the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean.

Our area also boasts natural trails for hiking and beautiful Bok Tower Gardens. Two trails worth noting are the Crooked Lake Prairie and the Circle Bar B Ranch in Lakeland.

Some favorite local restaurants are Crazy Fish (casual seafood), Melanie's Seafood Kitchen (downtown Lake Wales), The Crooked Bass Grill and Tavern, Frostbite (cute diner with hand dipped ice cream), and L'Incantro Italian restaurant.

Our family lives in the building behind the house, but guests are welcome and encouraged to explore the entire property. If you bring children, there is a trampoline with safety net, slides, seesaw, tire swing, and plentiful toys to keep them entertained in the backyard. We have 2 young children as well and they may join yours to play!

Other things to note
Just a note about wildlife in the area and Florida in general: There is a lot of it and every once in a while, a critter may find its way inside the house. This fact is unavoidable, but may shock some people from different climates. We do our best to keep the house clean and pest free, but it is not uncommon to see a stray palmetto bug, lizard, or spider in the house

This well built brick home is situated in a quiet neighborhood with access to Crooked Lake from the canal in the back yard. Whether you just need a comfortable place to stay or are looking for some fun on the water, we think this house will meet your expectations! It is also situated in the center of the state, a short drive to either coast and most of Florida's amusement parks. It is also very close to Lake Wales airport for skydiving and paramotoring, Legoland, and Bok Tower Gardens.

The space
This spacious brick home is located on a quiet neighborhood street. The back yard faces a wide canal that leads to one of the cleanest and most beautiful lakes in Central Florida, Crooked Lake. We strive to create a clean, fresh, relaxing place for our guests to stay. Our second property is also on Airbnb and in this neighborhood: "Lake Access, Canal Front Crooked Lake Gem". And now we have a third home on Airbnb, "Lake Reedy Living", directly on Lake Reedy in nearby Frostproof. Check them out if this house isn't available!

The house has three living areas each with comfortable power reclining leather seating. The large galley kitchen is adjacent to the dining area and family room. It has all of the large appliances one would expect. A full-sized washer and dryer are located in the house at the far end of the kitchen.
The three bedrooms are furnished with just what you need for a comfortable stay. The master bedroom has a queen bed, the corner bedroom has a king Serta Black Beautyrest mattress, and the front bedroom has a queen bed.

The house also has a double garage and carport for parking in the shade, or plenty of room for a boat trailer. The BEST part of the house, in our opinion, is the waterfront location leading to the lake.
Crooked Lake is listed as one of Florida’s Outstanding waters and is a large lake, over 4,000+ acres. It is a favorite fishing destination for local and traveling fisherman. The perimeters of vegetation and brush around this lake make excellent cover and habitat for largemouth bass. Bring your boat and fishing gear to discover why Florida has been described as the “Bass Capital of the World”. Other freshwater game fish to try for are specs, bluegills, shell crackers and catfish. Many fishermen enjoy a peaceful evening of night fishing for specs! Other lakes in the general area are Lake Kissimmee, Lake Walk-in-the-Water, Lake Clinch and Lake Reedy.

In addition to fishing, Crooked lake is known as a great lake for swimming, water skiing, kayaking, paddle boarding.... just about anything to do with water. It is just a great lake! There are two boat ramps on the lake, one public (on Little Crooked Lake) with no charge and one private (Bob's Landing), with a small charge (take cash). Bring your boat and you can park it right behind the house when you aren't out fishing, boating or swimming!
For those that love theme parks, the Orlando theme parks are only an hour away.... Walt Disney World, Epcot, MGM studios, Animal Kingdom, Universal Studios, and SeaWorld. Legoland in Winter Haven is a twenty-minute drive. And Busch Gardens in Tampa is 1hr 15min away. Nearby cities are Lake Wales, Winter Haven, Lakeland, Auburndale, Haines City, Frostproof and Bartow. For a dip in the salt water, this home is in the center of the state, a short trip to either of Florida's coasts...the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean.
Our area also boasts natural trails for hiking and beautiful Bok Tower Gardens. Two trails worth noting are the Crooked Lake Prairie and the Circle Bar B Ranch in Lakeland.

Some favorite local restaurants are Crazy Fish (casual seafood), Melanie's Seafood Kitchen (downtown Lake Wales), The Crooked Bass Grill and Tavern, Frostbite (cute diner with hand dipped ice cream), and L'Incantro Italian restaurant. The Ranch – Brew and Tap Room has just recently opened downtown and everyone loves it. It has pastries and such at breakfast time, a small lunch menu with home made items like chicken salad, and appetizers at dinner time. We’ve only been to lunch, but everyone loved it.

Enjoy a memorable visit when you stay in this unique and historical place in Lake Wales, FL. Constructed in 1936 this home is nestled within a quiet and friendly neighborhood just minutes from the downtown area and just a short walk to Lake Wailes itself. Although the current owner updated the home with practical renovations, the peculiar house still has the character and features from the time it was built, features that once granted it a place among the pages of Ripley’s Believe it or Not.

The space
"Construction took place in 1934, tax records show. Built from concrete block, the one-story house was 38 feet in diameter -- 1,134 square feet -- with a concrete floor and concrete roof that doubled as a solarium. The flat roof was raised over the dining room to create space for a circle of transom windows." (CINNAMON BAIR THE LEDGER Published 12:48 p.m. E.T. November 22, 2011) Be aware this is a very old house that does not include the modern amenities of new construction.

The circular two-bedroom house has a huge living room that takes up most of the space across the front, then in clockwise order comes the first bedroom, a bathroom with a deep square tub, a second bedroom with a bath, and the kitchen. All the rooms open into the dining room, strategically located in the center.

Except for the utility room and some cabinet space marked as "employees only," the entire house and backyard are at the guests' disposal.

Other things to note
Before booking the place, I want you to understand that due to its construction and age, this house does not include all the amenities you can find in a modern home.
For example, at night, there is not much illumination since there are no ceiling lamps. The light switches and receptacles locations do not match today's building codes. In addition, the square bathtub does not include a water stopper since the owner does not recommend using it for liability reasons. Parents with small children should actively supervise them.

This can be rented as a 2 or 3 bedroom home. There is an addition fee for the 3rd king bedroom. If you want all 3 bedrooms be sure to list 6 guest even though you may only have 3 guest, only 2 bedrooms will be available if you list 4 guest. Enjoy the quiet country life of an entire pool home without having neighbors close by while vacationing close to Fl attractions. Many times there are cows across the street to enjoy the country life from the front porch! Discounts for monthly booking!

The space
This home can be rented with just bedroom 1 and 2 available or when 6 guest are listed bedroom 3 is added. We have well water that does sometimes have sulfur as a lot of Florida water does. A Nuvo Water System has been added recently to help this. It is perfectly fine to drink since it is 8.5 on the alkaline scale. There is a grill on the back carport and must stay there as well when you want to BBQ.

The house has a digital entrance so we do not have to be present to let you in. If you stay long enough, we have an area you could put in a garden and grow your own vegetables. Pineapple plants are growing and you may be able to pick a fresh pineapple if it is the right time of year!

You are minutes away from beautiful Crooked Lake (which is great for swimming, fishing or boating), 10 minutes from Bok Tower 20 minutes from Legoland, less than an hour away from Disney and the Orlando attractions, and about an hour from Busch Gardens in Tampa. The Lakeland Sun n Fun is about 45 minutes away! We are located less then 2 hours from the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico.

You'll find plenty of free parking for your vehicles & boat trailers on the property and a private dock to tie your boat to. After a day of fishing relax on the back deck next to a firepit. Located near Legoland, Disney, Bok Tower Gardens and Warner University.

2 Kayaks are available at your own risk, missing or damaged parts will be billed to guest.

This is the perfect place to unwind & relax or bring your boat for some great fishing. You can enjoy catching fish from the private dock or use the 2 kayaks (and life jackets) that are provided for guests. Feel free to bring your boat as there is a boat ramp on the lake for launching & you may tie it to the dock during your stay.

The house is a 2 unit home with 2 other airbnbs on the 1 acre lot. Your space is completely private and for your use only. The front yard is fenced all around so it adds an extra layer of privacy. The area is mostly quiet and low in traffic but there are occasional cars passing through adjacent driveway that can cause some noise. Given that the house is a 2 unit home, there might be some noise transferring through walls.

The main driveway is shared with other guests. Once you enter the main driveway the unit will be to the left side of the property where the wood double doors gate is. There is a black metal sign with Hidden Gem written on it. There are 3 parking spaces designated for your unit. The laundry room door and the master bedroom sliding door are emergency doors only that lead into another unit so please don't open unless is an emergency.

Other things to note
The fire pit is available for use. So if you are planning to light up a fire to have a relaxing evening we recommend bringing your own logs. Your best option is to bring easy start logs.
