Enjoy fishing off the dock or floating platform or take a refreshing swim or kayak (2 kayaks provided) in your own private lake. Start your day admiring the spectacular sunrises from the eastern facing patio. And, if you’re lucky, you can witness a rocket launch from Cape Canaveral (70 miles away), directly from the back patio. A night launch is especially spectacular to witness.

Are pets allowed? Yes. There will be an additional charge of $30/day. This additional charge will be passed on to our cleaning crew for additional pet clean up. We are doggie lovers and our home and property provide a fun, happy, and comfortable space for your beloved fur babies. Dogs are welcomed in the home BUT we do ask that if the dog is not potty trained, that they be crated when indoors. We will happily provide the crate. The yard is completely fenced, allowing your pet plenty of room to run and play. Doggie dishes and a sleeping crate are available upon request. The back patio has a convenient Doggie Door so that your pet can come into the patio as desired. Our pups love the water, and the lake offers a lot of swimming fun. BUT this is Florida, there are Alligators in every body of water, so please be aware and keep your eyes open for any lurking uninvited guests. And Please, if you see an Alligator DO NOT FEED THEM. It’s illegal and dangerous.
We start every rental off with a starter supply of toilet paper (2 roll per bathroom), 2 rolls of paper towels for kitchen, garbage bags in kitchen trash can, hand soap and lotion in bathrooms and kitchen (pump or bar), dishwashing soap, dishwasher, and laundry biodegradable sheets (in moderation) and hand towels in kitchen and bath. You will need to bring more for if/when you run out. Additionally, you will find the “Spice Drawer” in the Kitchen fully stocked. If you have forgotten personal toiletry items, you will find a basket in the Master Bath Closet filled with soaps, shampoos, lotions, disposable toothbrushes, etc. Help yourself “Only As Needed”.

We hosted family (including kids) for pool parties, dinners, movies, and sleepovers. We rode bikes around the lake a couple times and to get food at the nearby grocery store, and were able to use ride share services when family weren’t available to drive us around. And the screened-in pool made hanging out in the hot Florida summer a delight. Recommended for sure!"

House is stocked and ready for you with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels, blow dryer, iron, ironing board, snacks and more, even a water bottle and chocolate on the nightstand to kick off your stay! Kitchen- Complete with coffee bar and cozy breakfast nook, this kitchen has everything you need to feel at home! Equipped with a Keurig Duo coffee pot so that you can use a single serve kcup or make a pot of coffee. Kitchen is stocked with pots and pans, crock pot, electric skillet, blender, toaster, dishes, utensils and basic seasonings. Bonus: french press & moka pot. Our family loves the walking trails around the lake, almost guaranteed to see some Sand Hill Cranes. Only a few steps from the front door! Want to take the kids to a playground? - "This property was very clean and welcoming. It has everything you will need for a relaxing escape. It is very well maintained and the host thinks of everything. There are scenic views of the lake across the street. We will definitely be back to this property." - "Excellent situation, well furnished, spacious, and very comfortable. The kids loved the pool" - "This place is SO well stocked - and not just the kitchen equipment, although my adult children were VERY happy to see a french press coffee maker. There's more than "just basic" seasonings but items like olive oil, brown sugar and tea bags. And Cascade dishwasher tablets and AWESOME shower supplies. Pool towels, noodles, sunscreen - even pool diapers were stocked. The screened-in porch is EXCELLENT for meals and the fountain at the pool is such a great touch. Property mgr was RIGHT ON IT when the battery in front door lock died. If you love to walk, you just have to cross the street for a paved path around a lake. And TWO wonderful playgrounds for the children. HIGHLY recommend!"
