The SKY is the limit for this stunning luxury cabin perched mountainside in the famed Aska Adventure Area! At Sky High Lodge, you can enjoy incredible views from this cabin's almost literal mountain top location...You can even see the beautiful Lake Blue Ridge weave its way around the mountains below! This cabin is a sight within itself: from impeccable decor to an abundance of amenities (including eight large flat screen TVS!) this luxury cabin combines functionality &technology to make your getaway one of a kind!

We have tried to think of everything to ensure you have a great vacation. The Master king bedroom is on the main level when you walk in and has a full bathtub, separate shower and double vanities. There is also a 1/2 bath on the main floor. This is also where the kitchen is located along with the dining and living area. There is also a side pantry/bar/coffee nook area. Outside this level you have a full wrap around porch that has outdoor dining table, outdoor gas grill, and living space area with outdoor wood burning fire place with a flat screen TV above.

Basement floor we have another king bedroom with separate tub/shower combo. There is also a fold out couch in the living area space in front of the indoor gas fireplace. Recreational area includes a pool table and mini bar area as well as a high top table and chairs. The full-size washing machine and dryer are also located on this floor. Outside you have another living area with a wood burning fireplace & flat screen TV above. This is also a wrap around deck with outdoor 8 person jaccuzi/hot tub.

Upstairs you have 2 bedrooms. One is a queen bed over queen bed bunk room with a twin bed in the loft above the bathroom. There is a full separate bathroom for both upstairs rooms with a shower/tub combo. The other bedroom is a King bed with a twin in the loft above the bathroom.

Bedrooms are large and all have extremely comfortable bedding and furnishings. Plenty of space, very clean, and easy communication with owner. The drive up the mountain is well paved but quite steep. Once to the top, you’ll know it was all worth the trip!" - "My wife and I have rented now over 12 different cabins in the general Blue Ridge area. Our stay at the Sky High Lodge was one of the best! First - the cabin is very quiet and relaxing with an outstanding view over the lake and extended mountain ranges. No cabins right beside it. Lots of trees and space separating the next cabin. Very clean and well kept. Very well stocked. A ton of very large 65 inch smart TV's everywhere. We like watching sporting events, so that was easy to do at night. Nicely decorated with comfortable beds. One night was nice to grill steaks on the gas grill and then light a fire with the outside fireplace and watch a ball game on the big TV over the outside fireplace. Another cool setup is just below that deck is the hot tub with a fireplace and TV right beside it. Pretty quick drive to downtown and the Blue Ridge Lake. Ron was very responsive with a couple of our questions. He was very easy to work with on the reservations and we had easy access to the cabin. Ron - you made our repeat list. We will definitely rent again from you when we have a chance. Thank you!"

Reconnect with friends or family for a fun-filled weekend, or spend a leisurely week enjoying the hiking of beautiful Blue Ridge, Georgia, with amenities like a great firepit, 6 person hot tub, and fully equipped kitchen - just a quick walk to the lake a short drive to downtown Blue Ridge!

The road and driveway are paved to our front door. We have 4 private bedrooms, and a bunk room that's great for kids. We're completely kid friendly with optional bedrails, baby gates, and even a high chair available. Cooking is easy with a fully equipped kitchen and gas grill. Huge covered porches, a 6 person hot tub, corn hole, horseshoes, tetherball, and a huge stone patio with a fire pit make Hid 'n' Timber a great place for socializing outdoors. We're 7 miles from the conveniences of town, 1.5 miles from Aska hiking & biking, a quarter mile from Blue Ridge Lake, and 3 miles from the Toccoa River (3 kayaks available for loan); there's truly not a more convenient location in North GA for outdoor enthusiasts.

This is a perfect getaway for the avid or occasional outdoors-person! Situated in the heart of Georgia's Aska Adventure area, some of the country's premier hiking, mountain biking, canoeing and kayaking is just moments away from the front door. Spend a long day busy with endless activities, and come back and relax in a comfortable lodge filled with things to do after dark.

We have a fully equipped kitchen, a bar for once the kids are asleep, and board games for kids of all ages. Foosball and a MortalKombat 1UP Arcade game on the Terrace level. Wake up and enjoy your morning coffee on one of our three covered porches surrounded by the sounds of nature.

There are 3 full bathrooms, and four private bedrooms, Master with King sized bed and 3 have comfortable Queen sized beds. The fifth bedroom has 4 bunk beds for the kids to share- it's away from the other bedrooms, so the adults will never hear the fun they are having! The master has it's own porch to relax in privacy, as well as a jetted tub to relax away the soreness of a long hike.

Our home is just a quarter mile to private access to Lake Blue Ridge, so bring your canoes!

ASKA TRAILS AREA: This area contains a 17-mile hiking and mountain biking trail system located on national forest land near Deep Gap and Stanley Gap south of Blue Ridge. Trails ascend to near 3,200 feet, providing vistas of mountain ridges, and descend to the shores of beautiful Lake Blue Ridge. They also pass through coves of mature hardwoods as well as traversing thickets of laurel and rhododendron.

HIKING: There are plenty of trails for everyone- easy to strenuous, young to old. The Aska Trails area is just 1.5 miles from the driveway to the trail head! This includes Stanley Gap, Green Mountain, and Flat Creek Loop. Not to mention the Rich Mountain And Cohutta Wilderness areas are just a short drive away!

MOUNTAIN BIKING: Aska Trails, Turkey Farm Loop, and Stanley Creek Rd. are all within 3 short miles! These trails are regarded as some of the best in the South.

CANOEING & KAYAKING: Beautiful rivers abound! Come raft down the Toccoa, kayak the Cartecay, or canoe the Olympic courses of the Ocoee, or just spend the day lounging on Lake Blue Ridge! Don't have your own gear? Outfitters and rentals are all along Aska Rd.

DOWNTOWN BLUE RIDGE: There are plenty of art galleries in downtown Blue Ridge, just 6 miles away, representing an artistic style unique to the Appalachian Mountains. You'll also find craft stores, antiques, cafes, and fine dining restaurants. The Scenic Railway also runs from Blue Ridge to McCaysville, GA, and marks the beginning of the Gold Rush in Georgia.

You just may catch a glimpse of a deer or two, bear, turkeys. You won't need 4 wheel drive or all-wheel drive. View-Topia has so much to offer in a Getaway Cabin. You'll be astonished at how much detail the owners have put into the comfort of this home! When entering the cabin you'll first notice the lavish living room which boasts sky high ceilings and a wall of glass overlooking layers on top of layers of gorgeous mountain views. A fully stocked kitchen with custom cabinetry and granite countertops and top of the line appliances which includes high quality pots & pans, blender, crock pot, Keurig machine, drip coffee, etc. There is a massive stone fireplace in the great room along with TV/SAT. There's also upscale fixtures throughout the home. Provided is a large dining table that seats 6-8 situated under a gorgeous custom antler chandelier. And a Bar Top area with 2 additional chairs for seating. Walk out onto the expansive decks overlooking the views and you'll find the porch fireplace area which is where I'm certain you'll want to spend endless hours!! There is also a gas grill and dining table on the deck so you can enjoy dinner al fresco!

Four bedrooms! All with oh so comfortable pillow top beds and comfortable/cozy linens. On the upper level you'll find a King master suite with a beautiful en suite bathroom which includes a soaking jet tub and walk-in shower with a Rain head. Private porch off of master bedroom to enjoy morning coffee or afternoon cocktails while taking in the views. On the Main Level you'll find a Queen Bedroom with a Full Bathroom. On the Lower level a Queen bedroom and a 4th bedroom with bunkbeds where both bedrooms share a full bath. We've also added a comfortable queen size air mattress that can be used in the lower level.

If all of that wasn't enough, the owners have gone an extra mile!! The Finished terrace level is so incredibly thought out with a relaxing sectional couch area, a gas log fireplace and TV above, a wet bar and rec room area with lots of games available. It all walks out to the Outdoor fire pit where you can enjoy s’mores with 4 comfortable Adirondack chairs or take an early morning or evening soak in the Hot tub again overlooking the view you'll wish to wake up to every single day!

WIFI has been provided for all guests with several different routers so that there is always a great signal from every room for your work needs or streaming!
All Tv's are set up with Roku & Direct TV which include access to Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc.

★Roads throughout the area are often curvy and narrow. 2WD vehicles will do fine under normal weather conditions, but 4WD may be required for icy or snowy weather.

★The cabin is regularly sprayed for bugs, but please note that you're visiting the North Georgia mountains, and our bug friends live in and around the neighborhood and the Blue Ridge area. You'll likely see a friend or two if you leave the doors or windows open.

★Your total reservation fee for this home includes a per-booking damage waiver fee, including any applicable taxes. The damage waiver ensures coverage for any accidental damage caused to the home or its contents, including appliances and furnishings, up to a maximum of $1,500. Damage due to smoking and pets is excluded. To benefit from this coverage, you must report the incident to the host before you check out.

★After each guest, we thoroughly clean the hot tub to ensure it's in pristine condition for your enjoyment. However, please note that the hot tub will not be immediately heated to your desired temperature upon your arrival. It takes some time for the water to heat up to the desired temperature, so we ask that you adjust the temperature as soon as you arrive if you plan on using the hot tub during your stay. The hot tub should never be set above 104 degrees for health reasons.
