Get away from it all at our Green River Log Cabin situated only a few feet off the Corp of Engineers property line on Richard B Russell Lake. Come enjoy our beautiful cabin in the woods with the added benefit of the lake being only a few hundred feet (3 minute walk) from the cabin via a marked walking trail. Your family will have acres to explore, hike, and play. Your dog will be in heaven if you bring him/her along!

The Cabin:
With only 400 square feet, it's best for a couple or single family, but sleeps up to 8. There are queen mattresses in the master bedroom, upstairs loft, and a queen pullout couch. There are also two built-in twin bunk beds. Upgraded kitchen with granite, stainless appliances, coffee maker, toaster, and microwave. Full bathroom with shower/tub. Large screened porch with a ceiling fan and room to relax, as well. We recently added a huge covered porch for added enjoyment outdoors.

The Property:
Coldwater Point Cabin is situated towards the back of a very private 26 acre lot surrounded on three sides by Lake Russell with over 4000 feet of lake frontage. There are several walking trails throughout the property along with a fire ring for campfires and s'mores. We provide a canoe for our guest to use during their stay. Make sure you bring a fishing pole for the crappie, bass, catfish, and bream in the coves. At night, take a stroll the field at the top of the hill for some great star gazing while listening to the coyotes, owls, and whippoorwills in the distance.

We are only about 8 minutes from Richard B Russell State Park. Arrowhead Point Golf course is a must for golfers and the park also has a large sand beach, hiking trails, boat launch, and Frisbee disc course. Be sure to check out Blue Cielo Farms winery just down the road! It's about a 20 minute drive to Elberton, GA where you'll find restaurants, grocery stores, and other things to do. Athens, GA is around 45 minutes and worth a visit if you need to fill your time on a rainy day.

Our cabin is remote! Cell phone service is non-existent to spotty, at best, and we do not provide a phone or internet. Plan to be "disconnected" during your stay and enjoy the peace and quiet! This is the perfect place to get away from it all!

This lakefront property is a newly renovated modular home that is large enough for several families to vacation together! Offering 5 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, 2 living rooms, a large kitchen and a dining area with seating for 12. This home has enough room for everyone to spread out and enjoy their time.

There is a master suite with a king bed and full bathroom including a spacious bathtub and double sinks.

There are 3 queen bedrooms. All three have large closets for storage.

The bunk room includes 4 beds and a futon so it can easily accommodate 6 people and is perfect for teens and young

The outside amenities include an extra large, partially covered deck that offers a beautiful view of the lake and plenty of entertaining and dining space equipped with a grill. There is also a waterfront deck that is perfect for fishing, sunbathing and a dock for storing your boat.

The home is in a quiet cove perfect for swimming and conveniently located near Jets Landing, the waterfront store with gas and snacks. WiFi is provided so that you can log into your personal streaming services.

Get away from it all at our amazing tiny cabin in the woods. It's the perfect spot to disconnect and enjoy some peace and quiet, nature, and solitude. Our beautiful cabin in the woods has a 0.5 mile, private walking trail to the lake, a canoe by the water, hammocks, a picnic table, fire pit, grill, and plenty of space to roam and explore. The tiny cabin is perfect for a couples retreat or a family glamping trip. There's room on the lawn for the kids to bring a tent and camp out. Bring your dog along, too!

- "This is a fairly new property in development stage, but its peace and somewhat secluded away from boating and lake activities, like a cove to yourself. There is an abundance of wildlife to share the property, nothing to worry much about, after all it is on the water. If you bring a boat, please take your time backing to boat ramp, it's a blindside back and 4wd wound be helpful to have as part of the ramp is gravel. The peninsula with the fire pit is a great spot under the trees to relax and fish. Wifi and phone is a little sketchy depending on your provider. The couch and rocker will put you to sleep with ease. We very much enjoyed our stay."

The space
This beautiful rental unit was completed in 2022. It features a spacious, full kitchen, dual coffee pot (Keurig/full pot), sofa with two electric recliners, smart TV (use your own streaming devices), a queen sized mattress in the bedroom, a desk, and a full bath (tub and shower) … also a washer and dryer. The apartment is attached to our shop/garage, and is nestled along the woods. We have lots of area for you to enjoy outside … you are welcome to walk up to the meadow to say hello to our farm animals who are eagerly waiting for attention!

Other things to note
We have farm pets/dogs here on the property. Abe is our white German Shepherd. His age is showing, and he most times stays close to our porch. He may have the energy to walk along with you to show off the animals in the meadow. Roxie is our Great Pyrenees, who lives in the meadow and does an excellent job of protecting our pets from predators! Scooter, a ShiPoo, is the spoiled house dog. If he is outside and sees you, he’ll most likely beg for some attention :)

Settled in Pine trees near the lake . 20-30 min away from shopping and downtown. Perfect for travelers visiting family, traveling nurses or just passing through. There is enough parking for a boat or RV.

The space
Private entrance, accessible in a detached guest house. This loft-like place is featured on the second floor, with a lit staircase leading to the room. Awaiting for you is a huge private room with a King Size Bed and private bathroom. Soaps, towels and extra bedding are provided.

The room is equipped with a microwave, mini fridge, a Keurig coffee maker, a table with 2 chairs. Complementary coffee, tea, creamer and sugar.

Clean room that is bug-free, pet-free, smoke-free room. Enjoy the scenery & birds singing.

Walking distance to the lake, woods trails. Between 20 to 30min to all shopping, dining and downtown.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful and very private lake front cottage. Private dock for fishing and swimming. Plenty of parking for vehicles and your boat trailer. Spacious 2000+ square foot house, with 2 king size beds, plus a kids bunk room; fully stocked kitchen, linens and towels provided. All you need to do is swim, eat and fish!
