We support animal rescue, specifically Tunica Humane Society. We have dogs in the back yards which the unit overlooks. Some are adopted rescues, some are failed fosters. They will probably greet your arrivals. For obvious reasons, we can’t let guests mingle with them or enter the back yards. If you bring your pet, we will supply a crate for it for when you are gone. The Greenline, right around the corner, is a great path for miles...for dog walking, jogging and running.

- "We enjoyed our stay in Crosstown. My family and I traveled in for the liberty bowl game. Overall, our stay was great. The property is in a quiet neighborhood. The location was great for what we needed, close to the stadium and downtown, and coffee shops and restaurants were about an 8 min drive away. There were TVs in each bedroom and the living room which allowed us to gather together and separately. The beds were comfortable and clean. We didn’t have any issues but I will add a few helpful tips. The property entrance is located up a steep flight of stairs on the outside of the house. If you have trouble getting up and down stairs, which my dad does, keep that in mind. Also, we brought food to cook during our stay and there was only one small skillet to cook with. The manager was very responsive to answering my questions via the VRBO app for things like accessing Wi-Fi when we arrived. Again, great stay overall!"

of marijuana products. Violation will result in immediate dismissal from the property.

Guest will have access to the entire house (except other bedrooms). Free high speed internet is available. Bathroom is shared with other guests. You're welcome to use our kitchen, including cookware, refrigerator, oven, and microwave. Please be sure to either wash dishes or rinse them and leave in sink. To the right, you'll find the bathroom straight ahead and a main bedroom to the right and second bedroom to the left.


This historic revival has charm and personality - from the soothing greens and colors that sure to inspire calm and relaxation after a long trip. The unit is cooled by 3 window units and stays pretty cool. During the winter months, there is central heating that will heat the space sufficiently. We have box fans and space heaters located in the main bedroom closet.

If the historic revival itself isn't enough, our location and easy access to everything in Midtown - Crosstown Concourse ( used to be Sears Tower) surely takes the cake!

Access to the Carriage House is through the wooden gate in the driveway. After making your way down the gravel pathway to the back of the carriage house you enter the door and head up the stairs (no elevator/lift) to the second story of the carriage house. This is a pet-free and smoke-free environment. There is free on-street parking with plenty of space. Remember, as in any major city, to lock your doors tuck away items from sight.

Please note that the temperature of the space is well-controlled with air conditioning and heating, however, temperatures will fluctuate in the event of rare city-wide power outages. While this is unavoidable, I will make every effort to provide resources and ensure comfort for your stay in the unlikely event that this occurs. The wide hall has a dedicated workspace for your office needs, also the Wifi hub so your connection will be fast and easy!

marble floors and plenty of storage for your bathroom needs...
The grand full kitchen is equipped with a double sink, gas range, pots, pans, utensils and collected fine crystal and china for your cooking needs.
Please be advised we do not have a dish washer and ask that you wash any used dishes.
The cozy bedroom is bathed in blue velvet! The queen sized bed has a brand new memory foam mattress, fitted with fresh cotton-blend sheets , a cozy duvet and fleece blanket and fluffy pillows.
There are Air Conditioner that provide cooling and heating in the living room and bedroom as well as a gas heater in the kitchen.
Altough there is a great big front porch and spacious yard. We have focused our attention on the interior of space.

Our cottage was built before the original home owner, a stone mason, built our 1923 bungalow. This sweet 700 sf cottage is the perfect home base to explore Memphis. It sits quietly in our backyard with a private entrance from our clean alley.

True to Midtown Memphis, the Swallowtail Cottage is an eclectic blend of styles - from vintage antiques to retro kitchen to clean modern luxuries.

Sleep deeply on the queen size mattress and new quiet bed frame. You can maintain focus at the antique grandfather's desk. The cottage has high speed WiFi.

The charming retro kitchen is stocked with all of the basic equipment to create a real southern meal. (Anything else you need, you are welcome to borrow from us.) The full kitchen includes a dishwasher, electric stove and oven, and a set of stainless steel pots and pans.

For breakfast, enjoy coffee from a french press. Sometimes, you might find my homemade granola! The fridge is stocked with sparkling water and creamer. Snack on popcorn in a old fashioned, hand-cranked popcorn popper. (Or the microwave if you prefer.)

Relax in the living room on the sofa or comfy armchair: read a book by a local author, or stream your favorite show on the 42" widescreen.

In the squeaky clean bathroom, subway tiles surround the shower/tub. Enjoy the %100 cotton plush, clean towels and linens.

There is ample closet space, a stackable washer/dryer and central heat and air conditioning.

Peek out the window at our honey bee hive. Feel free to ask us about it, but please don't approach our hive.

The private cottage is all yours. Come and go as you please. If you need anything, we live in the "big" house across the backyard.

You may park your car in the *small* parking space and use the private entrance from the alley. Or park on our street.

Our yard small backyard is well-loved by our three children, our scruffy little terrier, Murphy, and our collie/husky, Mr Badger. Unfortunately, our backyard and outdoor play areas are not available to our Airbnb guests. You are welcome to hang out in the private patio area adjacent to the cottage entrance.

The cottage is accessed by keys through iron security doors, and separated from the alley by a 8ft privacy fence.

Other things to note
The cottage has an off street parking space for one small vehicle. All of our wonderful neighbors use the alley to access garages, so we ask our guests to be extra careful not to block the alley. There is ample on street parking in front of our house.

Pegasus Lair is an upstairs unit. Spacious, 1200 ft. Well appointed, comfortable, and quiet. We live next door, and are generally available. Only 7 minutes by auto from downtown. Close to most attractions, entertainment and interstate. Street parking easily available in front of unit. Pet friendly. The home was built in 1907, and is on the National Register of Historic Places.

The space
Renovated two bedroom, living, bath and kitchen area. The neighborhood is quiet and parklike. Everything has been done with your comfort in mind. We hope you like what we have done, and will come again.

The kitchen is fully stocked, we supply a Keurig coffee maker and coffees...there are pots and pans, dishes and utensils. Range, dishwasher, refrigerator and microwave are supplied. You’ll find cold bottled water in the refrigerator. The space is designed with your comfort in mind, area rugs are padded, soft linens, towels abundant and freshly laundered. The bathroom has great lighting, a dispenser for liquid soap, shampoo and conditioner on the wall of the shower, a make up mirror and a wall hung blow dryer are there for your convenience. The front porch is yours to use as well, with bench seating and upholstered chairs.

We support animal rescue shelters, especially the Tunica Humane Society.
If you do bring your pet, please be aware you cannot mingle your pet with ours. While our dogs are peaceful and harmonious, we would never risk having our, or your, animals injured. You are welcome to take your dog anywhere in the front of the home, including the porch, and use the median strip for necessities.

This is an adult unit only. Because of stairs and lack of child proofing, it is listed as no children allowed from 0-12 years old. There are security cameras for your safety, monitoring the exterior of the home. Please be aware, the maximum occupancy for the unit is four adults. One additional adult only if requested ahead of booking, and that adult is an additional 20.00 charge per day to be added to the Airbnb fees. We want no misunderstandings about these issues. Hospitality is our aim, and your understanding of these issues will ensure we achieve it. No outside guests. No parties, no gatherings.

This is a place for travelers and visitors from outside the area to relax and rest from their time spent visiting Memphis and it's attractions and restaurants. This is NOT A PARTY HOUSE. BOOKINGS FROM A 100 MILE RADIUS OF MEMPHIS WILL BE IMMEDIATELY CANCELLED. IDENTIFICATION MAY BE REQUESTED AT TIME OF ARRIVAL. WE DO NOT ALLOW ANY GATHERINGS OF ANY KIND. DO NOT ASK.

We support animal rescue, specifically Tunica Humane Society. We have dogs in the back yard, some are adopted rescues, some are failed fosters. They will probably greet your arrivals. For obvious reasons, we can’t let guests mingle with them or enter the back yards. If you bring your pet, we will supply a crate for it for when you are gone. The Greenline, right around the corner, is a great path for miles...for dog walking, jogging and running.

Only two pets allowed , unless we approve of additional prior to arrival.

Guests have full private access to the upstairs apartment, including a sunny balcony off the living room—your own nook for coffee, conversation, or quiet exhale. The shared back patio, accessible via the kitchen stairway, includes a grill, fire pit, hammock, and an assortment of seating for communal unwinding. The in-unit laundry, discreetly located just off the kitchen, is a secure and private space for your use. Free street parking is available on North McNeil Street.

Other things to note
This private apartment occupies the entire upstairs of a 1924 duplex. If you’re interested in renting the downstairs unit as well, feel free to contact us.

Be advised that there are two separate bedrooms here but it is "shotgun style" meaning that you have to walk through one bedroom to get to the other. Also note that this is a duplex so please be mindful and considerate of your neighbor :)

This bright and cheerful apartment is centrally located one block from North Parkway in the Speedway Terrace Historical District. Walking distance from the thriving Crosstown Concourse- an Art Deco era building that has a grocery, drug store, multiple restaurants, art exhibits and entertainment. Also a close trip to Downtown with the Bass Pro Pyramid and famous Beale Street. The master has a king size bed while the second room has a queen size bed. Free street parking.
