The outhouse is a bucket with a seat and is a composting type with sawdust. There is a foot pump to wash your hands in the outhouse.

The Timber House was built in 2020 on a hill shaded by the trees near Lost Creek. The gated property is idyllic and truly a getaway. This one-level, 3 bedroom home with a wrap-around porch has all the comforts of home with fully equipped kitchen, Wifi, TV, streaming, W/D, central heat/AC, dishwasher, Keurig and an outside space with a propane grill, cast-iron stove and fire pit. Hazel is our resident shark i-robot and she keeps the place vacuumed…she’s the only one you have to share the place with ; )

There is a master bedroom with king size bed, drawers and closet attached to a full, private bathroom that features a standing shower and storage. The second bedroom has a full size, high-rise bed with storage and a closet. The third bedroom has a full size bed along with a closet and storage. The main bathroom features a step in tub/shower and storage! We have a single roll away bed for you to use, as well.

We are just a mile from King Lake Conservation Area. King Lake is a 1,273 acre wildlife reserve that welcomes fishing, bicycling, hiking, kayaking, slow-boating and hunting. Seasonal hunting includes dove, rabbit, quail, duck, turkey, deer and morel mushrooms
