Brand new construction in the upstairs in one the oldest buildings in town! Very spacious two bedroom apartment with a beautiful view of Fort Scott National Historic Site. Large inviting living room space and open kitchen. Conveniently located just above Hole in the Wall Liquor, directly across from farmers market (seasonal), National Historic Site, and only a block away from several eating establishments and bars. Within walking distance of the beautiful Riverfront Park and Trails. Sorry, no elevator available.

The enormous open living space features a cooks paradise kitchen with commercial range with a griddle and double ovens. The island offers bar seating for 4 and dining table seats 8. The living room area provides an oversized sofa that seats 8 comfortably and 70" TV. Adjacent to the living room is a gameroom with a pool table with ping pong top as well as a dartboard. Flip the ping pong top and pull out the benches from beneath the pool table and it serves as an additional table for 6 - 8 more people.

The bedroom spaces are ideal for extended family bookings or long term stays. Three bedrooms feature private ensuite baths with walk in showers huge walk in closets. The Master Bedroom features a king bed and incredible bathroom huge closet and walk in shower with rain showerhead. The lower bedroom sleeps 4 with queen and full beds. The upper level suite sleeps 7 with a Queen bed, two twin sized hide-a-bed oversized chairs and bunk beds in the adjacent bunk room.

This is a 2nd floor apartment with 23 steps to climb in order to access the space. This well appointed space is well worth the climb.

If you're planning an event or gathering the Empress Event Center is located on the 1st floor below this space. The space
This is a spacious farm house with large living room, full kitchen, 2 full baths, and 3 bedrooms plus a fourth that is more like a bunk room. House easily sleeps 8 with room for a couple more on the sofas. Kitchen has a gas oven/stove and a large bar top that sits six at a time. You can relax inside watching movies or streaming shows on one of the two large flat screen tv’s, or hang out under the pergola by the fire pit playing corn hole.

Guest access
The entire house, expect for the basement is yours to enjoy. There is a large yard along with a patio, fire pit, porch swings, and grill. You’re free to explore, but we do ask that you stay out of the barns and livestock areas and do not climb on grain bins, feed bins, or machinery/equipment.

There's no traffic, you’re welcome to sit around the fire pit, picnic in the pecan grove, hike and explore but there are cattle in the pastures (just don’t leave the gates open). You might see bald eagles, deer, ducks, rabbits and a plethora of small game running about. There is no hunting without permission/prior arrangements.
