- "The check in was super easy. It is a nice house in a great location. There were a few things different from any stays I've had before: food in the fridge and cupboards, a full dish of pet food in the middle of the kitchen floor, empty beer can in the sink, the upstairs was blocked off but the lights were on and a window was open (which was odd to come back to at night), no binder with info inclucing wifi password, if we needed to strip beds, etc. One bathroom was very dirty and I had to clean the tub before we could use it. The towels looked old and the 1st one I used smelled very bad when it got wet. the closet in the main bedroom had a sheet covering it, no door. It had somthing very loud running in it, maybe a dehumidifier. I stripped a bed and there was no mattress pad, and the mattress was very stained. The house has a lot of potential, but some things need to be improved."

The "extra" touches did not go unnoticed, it was SO nice having the bikes & the beach chairs! The cornhole boards were such a nice surprise. Also, hand soaps were already in the bathrooms and kitchen. Having a starter set of toilet paper, paper towels, detergent and dishwasher tablets was SO appreciated! We enjoyed the games and puzzles and did I mention the sunset every night from the deck?? We will definitely book again at Two Beaches!"

Welcome to the Surfing Turtle! Located in Surf City on Topsail Island this townhouse has everything you could want for the perfect vacation. Not only is our place recently renovated but the location is fantastic. We have private beach access across the street, a private pool, and the most beautiful dock out into the sound for guaranteed spectacular sunsets. It's also less than 1 mile away from the pier and some great restaurants and shops.

We have 2 bedrooms with fulls baths attached. We also have a pullout couch that offers an additional sleeping option.

This is an end unit townhouse. You will have the entire unit, both upstairs and downstairs. We also have a shed below with beach/pool items for our guests to use. You can park 2 cars under the home.

More About the Property

The Turtle Cove Community has a private pool and private beach access that can only be accessed via the key fob. No need to worry about overcrowded beaches and parking issues, simply park in your covered parking area under the townhouse and walk to almost everything.

Out the backside of the community is a small park and a long dock into the sound. Take a stroll out there to watch the boats or watch the sun go down.

Topsail Island has everything you need for for the best vacation. You can look for shells and sharks' teeth with each low tide at the beach. Or you may want to consider a sunset cruise or try fishing off the Pier. You could rent bikes or golf carts to cruise the island. Whatever your vacation style may be, Topsail will not disappoint.

There are also plenty of local restaurants and shops as well that cater to all beachgoers just a mile down the road from our townhouse.

Note: A $250 refundable damage deposit will be taken on the day of checkout and will be returned to you within 5 days.

- "This bungalow is larger than it appears in photos, which was a pleasant surprise. It is newly renovated and decorated beautifully. The bathrooms are both en suite with the washer/dryer combo in the master bath, which I found extremely convenient. The location is fantastic. Truly a hop, skip, and a jump from the beach. The view from the deck is lovely and relaxing, but there is no shade, so we erected a pop-up gazebo and created shade and a little more privacy. There were a couple little glitches during our stay, and the hosts were very responsive. Also, Turtle Shell staff are on the property almost daily and are very approachable if you need anything. Two caveats: 1) If cooking is a big part of your vacation, this might not be the place for you, as the kitchen is not well-equipped and there is very little counter space, and, 2) I wish it wasn’t so expensive!"

No Smoking Policy:
Smoking or vaping inside will result in a $500 fine for cleaning & restoration. Evidence includes, but is not limited to, the smell of smoke, ashes, burns, or any other signs of smoking or vaping.

Cancellation Policy:
Once you make a reservation, our calendar is blocked, and we can only provide refunds within our policy. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for unforeseen events such as illness, funerals, or bad weather. We recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your trip.

Pet Policy:
Unlike most places, Abbey Acres welcomes up to three cats or dogs, regardless of size and breed. The spacious front yard features dedicated Zipline Dog Runs, providing plenty of room for your furry friends to play and stay engaged, keeping them happy. A small one-time fee ensures the property remains pet-friendly and your space is pet-ready upon arrival.

Over 30 Days: $350 for up to two pets, $450 for three pets

More Than Two Weeks up to 30 Days: $150 for up to two pets, $85 per pet for three pets ($255 total)

Up to Two Weeks: $75 for up to two pets, $65 per pet for three pets ($195 total)

When you add your pets to the reservation, the initial fee of $75 will automatically apply to your total. Please submit an inquiry for stays longer than two weeks or with more than two pets to ensure the appropriate fee is requested based on the duration of your stay and the number of pets.

Chargeback Policy:
Guests must address and attempt to resolve disputes with the host within 24 hours of the issue arising and provide relevant documentation and photos of their complaint.

Initiating a chargeback without first trying to resolve the dispute with the host is a breach of this policy. Guests must notify the host of their intent to file a chargeback and allow seven days for resolution.

Guests are responsible for reprocessing and legal costs associated with disputing a fraudulent chargeback.

(Open seasonally from Memorial Day to Labor Day) Enjoy a playground for the young kids + basketball goal for the older kids. The townhome’s 1st floor has canal & sound access right off the back deck and the beach is a short 200 yd walk.

(2) MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY. The number of people present at the Property may not exceed the maximum posted occupancy. You must select the correct number of guests in your booking, If additional overnight guests show up on-site you will be charged double the original incremental amount for the inconvenience ($30-$40 / guest).

(3) NO PARTIES OR EVENTS. Parties are prohibited at the home. Other events are permitted at the home only with our prior approval.

(4) NO SMOKING INSIDE HOME: If our cleaning crew reports any signs of smoking cigarettes, vapes, e-cigs, pipes, etc. (smell, ash, etc.) in or around the home, an automatic $500 damage charge will be incurred. The same charge applies if cigarette butts are found outside of the home. If marijuana is smoked in or around the home a $500 fee will be charged, and details about the reservation may be turned over to the appropriate authorities.


(5) QUIET HOURS. This home is located in a residential area. To be courteous to our neighbors, we ask that you respect quiet hours between 10 PM and 7AM. You and other Occupants agree to conduct yourselves throughout your stay in a manner that is respectful of and not disruptive to neighbors, traffic flow, or the community and that will not prompt complaints to the owner from police, neighbors, or neighborhood or homeowner associations. If you violate quiet hours and disturb the neighbors, we will cancel your reservation; you will be required to leave the property immediately and you will not be eligible for any refunds. We may monitor noise with exterior cameras and/or noise monitoring technology.

(6) DAMAGE: You will be responsible for any damage to the home or its furnishings during your stay. You agree to close and lock doors and windows when you are not present at the Property and upon check-out.

(7) TRASH: Please bag all trash and place it in the bins provided. There is a $100 charge for third party trash removal if an excessive amount of trash is left at the property.

(8) RELEASE: If an issue arises and guests request a refund, we will require guests to agree to a release before issuing a refund.

(9) NO PERMANENT RESIDENCE: You agree that your use of the Property is on a temporary and transient basis only; that you may not use the Property as a permanent residence; and that your permanent residence is and will remain elsewhere than at the Property.

(10) PET POLICY: We do not accept assistance animals in line with Airbnb's Nondiscrimination Policy. The owner of the property has allergies, with this residence being their home, we are exempt from compiling. Please do not book a room in this home, if you require this accommodation.
There are 3 outdoor cats on the property. No other animals or pets of any kind are permitted. You also agree that we cannot and do not guarantee that no animals have been in the Property prior to your use or that the Property is free of animal or pet allergens, even if the Property listing states that pets are prohibited or includes a similar description.

(11) EARLY CHECK-IN/LATE CHECK-OUT. May be available. Additional charges may apply If you do not vacate by check-out time (or late check-out time as agreed by the Owner), you authorize us to charge a late departure fee of up to one night’s rental and we may remove all Occupants and their personal property from the Property.

(12) INDEMNIFY. You agree to hold harmless and indemnify the Owner, and their respective affiliates, for and from all claims for property damage, personal injury, death, or monetary loss resulting from your actions or omissions, and the actions or omissions of other Occupants, during or relating to your stay.

(13) SUBSTITUTION OF ROOMS. On rare occasions, other better rooms may need to be substitued or being removed from rental use, or a need for extensive repairs or maintenance, the Property may not be available for rental on the dates of your reservation, and the Owner may have to cancel your booking. In this unlikely event, rebooking shall be subject to the Airbnb Terms for booking modifications.

(14) CONSEQUENCES OF BREACH; CHARGES FOR DAMAGES. Any failure by you or any other Occupants to comply with any of the terms, conditions, or policies above is a breach of these Owner's Terms and may result in a forfeiture of your rights to rent the Property, up to and including immediate removal from the Property without refund and with or without the assistance of law enforcement. The Owner may terminate your occupancy of the Property for breach, and if you are notified of such termination you agree to leave the Property immediately. In addition, subject to Airbnb’s damage claim policies, you are responsible for (1) any damage or loss that occurs at the Property during your stay; (2) a charge of up to $1,000 for violations of the pet policy, including for bringing more pets or different types of pets than specifically authorized; (3) an additional cleaning fee of up to $500 (or the actual cost of cleaning services, if greater) for violations of any of the guest policies above (other than the pet policy) or for excessive cleaning required by the acts or omissions of any Occupant during your stay; and (4) any fines issued by police, other government officials or agencies, utility providers, and/or homeowner associations for violation of any law, ordinance, or rule during your stay, and any damages (which may exceed the amount of fines) that result from the violation.

When you first arrive you are greeted by a secluded parking area. Ample parking both covered and not is available just steps away from the home. Head up and use the access pin code, which will be sent to the reservation holder shortly before check-in, to get your vacation started. You enter the open living area which includes the Dining room, Living room, and Kitchen. The spacious living room offers ample seating, a Flat Screen TV with OTA antenna service, and island views through the multiple windows that surround the room. Feel free to bring your streaming devices and plug in to stay connected to your favorite shows while you are away from home. Wi-Fi service is available! Off the living room, you will find the ocean-side deck that allows you to bask in the sun as you listen to the waves. The kitchen provides all of your basic cooking needs so that you can keep the crew full between trips to the beach. Enjoy each other’s company while you refuel by gathering around the dining room table, which offers seating for 8. Additional seating for the rest of your party can be found at the kitchen bar. The bar stools will also fit at the dining table. Upstairs you will find the remaining bedrooms and bathroom. The first bedroom as you come up the stairs has a Queen bed with a TV. These bedrooms are connected by a Jack and Jill bathroom. Out in the hall, you will find a cozy sitting area where you can curl up with a good book on those bad weather days. The space
No matter which room you select, there are comfortable beds and pillows in each room. Bring your groceries and save money by cooking meals at home or go to local cafes that are about 2 minute drive.
Also, if you need to work during your stay, we have a large working area. Great place for gathering with friends and family who are in the military. Approximately a 15 minute drive to base gate or for traveling nurses to the hospital. Enjoy home living for the week, weekend, or month with multiple rental options. We are centrally located between Jacksonville and Wilmington with great beaches in either direction to relax. (3 bedrooms: King, Full, and Twin beds sleeps 5)

EASY PARKING AREA FOR LARGE BOAT!!!
You will be able to pull right up to the front door steps. Plenty of room for large SUV’s, cars, and trucks. No limit for parking space. Best part for the fishers is that we have plenty of room for you to bring your boat and park right at the back door. We have outside water hook up so you can wash out the motors after a day on the water. We ask that you keep your vehicles and water crafts between our home and the electric pole in the back and half way of the property when coming out front door.

Located 6 miles from Surf City beach, approximately 15 to military bases, 30-45 to Jacksonville and Wilmington. Eastern NC Beaches along the way in either direction. This is a home that has been newly remodeled to provide you and your guest with clean and pleasant surroundings while saving money to spend on local attractions.

Doyle's Sandfiddler is sure to please the family with its open and airy feel including two decks that offer a super second-row view of the Atlantic. As you arrive at the home, you will find a large front yard and driveway that will provide more than ample parking or space for family fun times.

The space
The first floor of this reverse floor plan offers three bedrooms and two baths. The first bedroom on the left offers the children a pyramid bunk (double on bottom, single on top) along with a single bed. The next bedroom across the hall offers a Queen bed. The most loved feature of this room will be the access to the covered front deck! The third bedroom on this level is the master suite which offers a queen bed, though your favorite features may be the large master bath with double sinks and shower/tub combo, or even the access to the front covered deck for morning-time beauty. This level also has a laundry area with a full-size washer and dryer. **Please note: The bedroom TVs do not offer cable service. You are welcome to bring entertainment systems with you to enjoy in the rooms but keep in mind these TVs are not HDMI-compatible.

Up the stairs to the top floor, you are greeted by a large and open family room. The kitchen features plenty of countertop space and all the modern conveniences such as a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. The kitchen area also has bar seating for 3. In the oceanside dining area, you will find a large dining table with seats for 6 and if your group is large, there are two extra chairs here as well. Everyone should experience eating dinner while overlooking the Atlantic as this is surely another treat of Sandfiddler!

The living area offers a large television with Cable, DVD/VCR Combo, and wireless internet. The seating is sure to be plenty for the family with a sofa, loveseat, and single chair. You also have access to the front uncovered deck on this level so you can sunbathe among the beautiful views. This level also offers a "convenient" full bath that services the family room or the 4th bedroom on this level. The 4th bedroom offers a Queen bed along with a coastal theme appeal. Downstairs you will find the convenience of a private hot and cold outside shower at the rear of the home. Beach access is right across the street for those who want to fiddle around.
