We have always been committed to delivering the cleanest vacation home to our guests. If you read our reviews we are very proud of the many comments about how clean we keep our properties. Since the outbreak of COVID we want to assure our guest that the properties are as clean as possible. While we have not had make major changes our cleaning procedures we thought we would detail some of what we do between guests.

All bed liens are changed between guests, our quilts are put in duvet covers to provide an additional level of cleanness and are also washed between guests. Everything including towels are washed in hot water. Dishes and utensils are washed in the dishwasher with hot water and a heated drying cycle. The unit has memory foam pillows since they hypo-allergenic and the cellular nature of the foam is inhospitable to bugs, mold and fungus. There is no carpet in the home and floors are vacuumed and moped, surfaces are wiped down.

The Cottage offers all the comforts of home and benefits of a vacation resort life style. The home sleeps 4 comfortably with a queen bed in the master bedroom and a trundle bed in the second bedroom. While located on an interior lot the home has a screened in porch that overlooks a green space and is close to bathhouse number 2. The Cottage was renovated including the kitchen and Bathroom.

Please note that we ask guests who stay a month or more to reimburse us for the electricity bill during their stay.

The only pets we allow are dogs. The Condo Association does not permit the following pure and mixed Dog Breeds: Bull Terrier, Pit Bull, German Sheppard, Doberman, Rottweiler, Chow, Akita or any animal of mean or violent temperament. In addition prior to check-in we are required to get copies of current immunization shots certification, including rabies. This is needed to complete the registration process including access to the community.

Nettles Island is a gated resort community with 24/7 manned security that has a private beach with a large heated pool, restrooms, showers and snack bar. Off the beach is a another club house that has large heated pool, hot tub, exercise room, game room with pool table and ping pong, miniature golf, basketball, racquetball/handball tennis courts, shuffle board, horse shoes and snack bar. The island also has a boat launching ramp and a dog walking area that has beautiful water views.

Also located on Nettles Island are a marina, grocery store, hair salon and restaurant.
Nettles Island is located in Jensen Beach Florida in area known as the Treasure Coast. Nearby attractions include The Elliott Museum, Florida Oceanographic Society, House of Refuge, and Sailfish Splash Water Park. Open loft, detached from main house in safe, quiet neighborhood near downtown and beaches. Fully equipped kitchen + washer and dryer and everything you need for a day at the beach. The space is beautiful with nice extras like Behringer Truth speakers (plug and play from your cell phone), 65" Smart TV with cable and over 140 movies on DVD and Blue Ray, lots of games & wireless internet.

THE LOCATION
Walk to all of the shops and restaurants of downtown Jensen Beach, they are 2 blocks away ...4 min. on foot, 1 min. by car. We have the closest proximity to downtown on VRBO.

GUEST ACCESS
Full access to side yard. The loft is detached from the main house. Reserved parking space (2 cars max. please)

INTERACTIONS WITH GUESTS
We're locals and would love to give you tips on restaurants, excursions, boating, fishing, etc.

SECURITY DEPOSIT: We don't charge one.

RATES/EXTRA GUESTS: Nightly rate is for one or two guests only. For more than two guests there is an extra charge of $20 per person/per night, including children. Please put the correct number of guests (children + adults) when booking. If you only plan to have extra guests for part of your stay, please let us know and we will work out an arrangement.

NUMBER OF GUESTS: Skyline Loft sleeps 2 guests very comfortably, and 3 or 4 guests comfortably (see "Bedrooms" for description of sleeping arrangement). The recommended number of guests is 4, but in the case of a family with children, it's no problem to sleep 5.

CHILDREN: We love hosting guests with children, but children do count as extra guests. Please count children in the total number of guests when you book. The loft is not appropriate for infants or toddlers (under age 4) due to the steep wooden stairs in the loft.

Nettles Island is a gated resort community with 24/7 manned security that has a private beach with a large heated pool, restrooms, showers and snack bar. Off the beach is a another club house that has large heated pool, hot tub, exercise room, game room with pool table and ping pong, miniature golf, basketball, racquetball/handball, pickle ball, tennis, shuffle board, horse shoes and snack bar. The island also has a boat launching ramp and a dog walking area that has beautiful water views.
Also located on Nettles Island are a marina, grocery store, hair salon and restaurant.
Nettles Island is located in Jensen Beach Florida in area known as the Treasure Coast. Nearby attractions include The Elliott Museum, Florida Oceanographic Society, House of Refuge, and Sailfish Splash Water Park. The kitchen is fully stocked w/ every gadget you could want to make your meals or go out to all of the great local restaurants the area has to offer. Jensen has amazing award-winning beaches and fantastic fishing in the intra-coastal or hire a deep-sea fishing charter. Community has a very nice, heated community pool & a fishing dock which is less than 100 yards away.

The neighborhood consists of large, colorful, single-family homes with private yards and beautifully kept gardens. Within a two-minute walk you have access to docks leading out onto the Indian River to enjoy a day of fishing.

Indian River Point is right next to the NE Causeway Blvd and the A1A so you can be back on the mainland in minutes. In just over an hour, you can spend the day perusing the shops at Boynton Beach or continue down the I-95 for 10 more minutes to get to Delray Beach.

Fully furnished home is equipped with all the basic needs for your stay, charming beach cottage is located in a wonderful unique community of Indian River Point and beautifully decorated in a nautical coastal theme.
The community tennis court is close enough you can watch from our outdoor living space but not so close as to be uncomfortable (we do have racquets available). The community pool is 100 ft. away if the kids and their friends get too rowdy. Fishing is available from the community docks, or wonderful shore fishing from our miles and miles of sand beaches located just a 1/2 mile away. Great local restaurants in Jensen Beach or along the ocean (ride a bike or 5 minutes by UBER), or go a little further (15 minutes) to Stuart for more restaurants, shopping and theatre. Golf courses are everywhere. Jensen Beach is located perfectly for those that want to day trip to Disney or any of the Orlando parks. Just a quick trip south to West Palm and Miami. Get away to the beach!

384 is a renovated model home decorated with a beachy feel. The dining and living area are lined with windows to allow you a spectacular view of the waterway and private dock located in the East seawall of Nettles Island.
Nettles Island is a 24-hour security gated community located between Ft. Pierce inlet and St. Lucie inlet. Nettles Island has many activities and amenities on the island which include 2 pools (one on the island and one beachfront), hot tubs, beach, recreation center including sports facilities, inside and outside games (including: tennis, horseshoes, mini golf, shuffleboard, boccie ball, basketball, tot playground, pool & ping pong tables, arcade games, computers with internet and more.) gym, stores, and restaurants. Beach is located a few blocks away with a private cabana area and pool area including restrooms and a snack bar.
The kitchen has all the major appliances and is fully stocked for cooking and dining. The adjoining family room has a 55" Smart TV, includes cable and wifi.
Bedroom 1 – Queen bed with new Nectar mattress and a 32” mounted smart TV.
Bedroom 2 – Double size bunk beds with twin size pull out. Please note that this bedroom does not have a door and flows through to the living area.
Bathrooms: 1 has tub, 1 has shower

The dock was recently redone as well with a nice set of umbrellas and table and chairs to relax and watch the dolphins swim by. The dock is the ideal location to fish and relax. The boat lift is unavailable.
Upon check in please review the House Rules. The house will be stocked with approximately 2 days worth of necessities: toilet paper, tissues, soaps, shampoo for the bathrooms and dish soap, dishwasher soap, paper towels, trash bags and coffee in the kitchen. All bed linens, towels (including beach towels) and kitchen towels are provided.
Please be aware that the seawall is very close to the back door. It is recommended that all renters, especially children, be able to swim. You will find a ladder and life ring on the dock, but these items may not be enough to prevent a drowning due to accidental fall ins.
The cottage is up a few feet as such upon entering there are 4 steps up to the living area.

Please note there is a ring camera in the exterior facing the dock and boat area. Also, boat/lift access will be necessary from time to time.

Located on Celebrity Island in Nettles. A great 1 bedroom 2 bath beach bungalow. Large living area with large TV, recliner and 2 small couches that have pull out beds, great kitchen and dining space with all new dishes, cooking ware, silverware etc. Master bedroom has brand new queen size bed with all new bedding. 2nd bathroom has huge tub, both bathrooms have all new towels etc. Great screened in porch to sit out back. You’ll love my place because of the Jensen Beach Tikki , Zendo allows you to access early morning meditation practice on Sundays and evening practice on Wednesdays. It's a great way to come and learn a new way of relaxation and self help if interested. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers, we are 200 yards from train line and Indian river beach.

Walk to the quaint, downtown district where you can experience bars, restaurants, live music, and shops. The beaches are less than 3 miles away! Local amenities such as our Publix grocery store, laundromat, and convenient store all walkable.

The space
Our private cottage is full of Florida sunshine to brighten the space. The large sunroom at the back of the house has windows on all three walls and is a great spot to sit with a book or share a meal. It also hosts a full-size day bed.

The kitchen has beautifully, refinished countertops with cabinet space reserved for our guests.

The guest bedrooms feature comfortable king size beds, closet space, and a dresser.

The living room features a comfy, oversized couch and flat screen TV. There are a few books and games on the entertainment console for your enjoyment.

Our fenced in back yard is very private. There is a deck off the back of the house with a table and chairs and a charcoal grill.

The front porch is my personal favorite spot to experience the ocean breeze. A large hedge offers privacy while you sit and enjoy a cocktail at night or a cup of coffee in the morning.

There is private wifi available for you and a carport for you to park under to easily access the entrance to our cottage.

For some reason Airbnb has this listed as number 7 but it is actually cottage number 15 at the end of the driveway on the drivers left hand side. It has a picture of a poinsettia tree on the outside. Guests will have entire cottage and outside area to themselves. I will always try and leave the front door open with the keys inside and if you can do the same when you leave that would be appreciated!

Other things to note
Please be respectful of other guests on the property as some of them get up early for work. We ask that you keep noise to a minimum after ten o’clock. PLEASE be considerate of the bathroom towels. We put a set of luxurious towels in each cottage but are experiencing guests using them to clean up the kitchen, dye hair and remove eye and face make up. We do not have access to industrial washing machines and even with much effort those stains do not come out of the towels in a regular washing machine. There is Kleenex, and disposable washcloths for make up removal in each cottage to use for those things. Thank you! Each cottage has a garbage can so please put your garbage in it when you leave and if you are staying for a week or longer you will need to pull the can to the end of the driveway on Tuesday and Friday mornings for trash pick up and then bring it back in at the end of the day. We have an artisan well to supply water so enjoy our delicious drinking water right from the tap but PLEASE don’t put any scraps grease or anything other than septic safe toilet paper down the sinks and toilets as we have a sensitive septic system and do not want you to run into any issues during your stay. This is also why we don’t allow any parties being held in the cottages here. Please put the AC units on energy saver if you will be gone for long periods throughout the day. There is a full kitchen with stove, fridge and microwave but please be considerate and don’t leave rotten food in the fridge or dirty dishes in the sink when you leave..:).. thank you! Also note that there are trains running close by. This is not as loud if you have the air running or the fan on inside the cottage. Lastly, please don’t park in or drive over any of the lawns on the property. I work full time but I do live in one of the cottages on the property so if you need anything that you don’t have in the cottage please ask me and I will do my best to get it to you in a timely manner. I have 3 friendly cats that are out in the mornings and late afternoons/early evenings. If you are sitting outside they may want to come by to check you out and get a scratch on the head, lol.
