The Little Country House is nestled between the fields of our family farm. Built in 2020, this brand new guest house is perfect for a weekend getaway! Inside you'll find a spacious 850 sq ft living area complete with a full kitchen, hdining and living room areas, one bedroom, full bath and outdoor recreation areas including a covered porch, fire pit and picnic area.

Bring the whole family to enjoy this great home with lots of room for fun. Our home is located in Newton, IA a couple of miles off the highway. It is about a 25 min drive to Adventureland, and about a 35 min drive to downtown Des Moines. It is also about 10 min from the racetrack.

Our house has a theater room, pool table, foosball table, extra large kitchen (with pots, pans and a basic spices), 4 bedrooms, and 4.5 restrooms to make it comfortable for a small or large family.

The beautiful outdoor space and a view of the lake make this place a one of a kind. The wood-burning fireplace inside is cozy. It's quiet, calm and quaint. Beautiful view of the lake. No wake lake to canoe or kayak if you bring them. The water is fun. The fire pit, the hot tub and the wide open space for a game of frisbee or baseball make this space unique. It's colorful, welcoming and ready for you to have a great time with friends or family. It's waiting for you.

Guest access
You will have access to everything in the house. The second half of the garage is off limits including the kayaks. Please don't drink anything in the refrigerator including the alcohol and the soda. We also request that you bring your own food unless it's the staples. Those are located in the pantry and the refrigerator.
