There are patios on the front and back porches, with good views of the river from the back porch and from the living room, and master bedroom. The coffee maker was a bit complicated, but easy to use once I got the hang of it. Nice to have a gas grill, and a gas stove, even though we ate out for every meal. We’ll definitely book this place on future trips to the area."

*****The house has STARTER SUPPLIES only, Guests will need to bring or purchase their other needs after starter supplies are depleted. We provide starter toilet paper, paper towels, kleenex, detergent needs, dish liquid, dishwasher detergent, a few garbage bags, foil, saran wrap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Also supplied are basic kitchen spices, salt & pepper, coffee, tea bags and sugar.

ONLY GUESTS STAYING AND LISTED ON THE RESERVATION ARE ALLOWED IN THE HOME AT ANY TIME.

* Quiet time is 10pm (7 nights per week) be considerate to neighbors
* Guests should remove their shoes at the doorway entries to keep clean carpet/

* Guests may not trespass into other property that borders with this home.
Property stakes are in place on the side of home facing the woods. Guests may
not pass the markers or obtain firewood from the woods. There are trail
cameras in use and monitored.
* Guests should leave property in same condition as it was upon arrival (of
course laundry will be completed upon checkout by management and basic
cleaning). If more than average cleaning is required; additional charges will
occur. Checkout list will be provided.
* Any theft or damage will be addressed accordingly with police. Guests will be
responsible to pay for damages to property or contents.
* Security cameras are in use 24/7 on the outside of the home and property. The
exterior of the house cameras face all entry points and entire property.
Absolutely no tampering with the security cameras, plug ins, or wi-fi
connections of any kind. Alerts are sent to management and will be addressed
immediately. If tampered with or disconnected, guests will be evicted off of
the premises without refund and additional charge of $500.00 will be charged
for tampering and deposit will be forfeited.
* Garage and basement are NOT INCLUDED in the rental. Access is not
permitted in either.
Both areas are alarmed. If any attempt is made to open doors, or locks,
Property Manager will be notified. If tampered with; guests will be evicted off
of the premises without refund and additional charge of $500.00 will be
charged for breaking the rule. Any deposit will be forfeited.
* Adults must be present at all times with children under the age of 15.
* When leaving the property, all doors must be locked.
* Do not leave entry doors open at any time. They must remain shut to help
prevent pests.
* No illegal drug use allowed on property of any kind.
* Photo i.d. / driver's license must be emailed to property manager prior to confirming reservation / approval. This person must be staying at the property.

Main floor boasts an open kitchen/living room space with amazing views of the Mississippi River frontage. Living room has a fireplace, and smart tv for your enjoyment.
If outdoor comfort is more your style, relax under the covered deck or sit in the gazebo or on the swing to watch boat or train traffic.

- "Booked on a whim to get away for a couple nights along the Mississippi and this seemed like the right fit. We weren't looking for anything extreme, just something comfortable and near the water. This certainly checked the boxes! The host was wonderful and very accommodating to allow us to bring our pup along for the fun. Close to some great wineries and breweries. If you've never experienced the Mississippi River's unique tempo, this is perfect. The train trestle was visible right from the back yard so we got to see it open up for barge traffic coming through. The biker bar, Poopy's, is audible from this spot when you're in the yard, but you don't hear it inside. The neighborhood was quiet, only the occasional traffic at night. The beds are smaller, but that's in the listing and wasn't a surprise, nor an issue. Just fair warning if you need something bigger. Kitchen had what we needed and we spent our downtime on the porch with the windows open with the cool breeze. One word of caution for those traveling with lower clearance vehicles: the driveway is not ideal. We have a larger SUV and it handled it fine, but smaller vehicles may scrape."

- "Great house for a nice getaway. Plenty to do onsite to keep you occupied. Fantastic outdoor patio area with woods behind the house. 2-person jacuzzi tub was fantastic too. Beds were comfortable, and house was nicely decorated and stocked with essentials. Plenty of seasoned firewood for inddor and outdoor use.Had a very minor hiccup with check-in, which was not the owners fault. Even so, he went over and above to make things right, and has been very accommodating and responsive throughout our stay.Would highly recommend staying here!"
