This home is perfectly located on the Chain of Lakes and is a great option for a family vacation, reunion, girls weekend, couples retreat, or just a fun weekend getaway! The property is located at the south end of Budd Lake where you can enjoy beautiful sunset views from the patio or living room. There are so many activities and restaurants all within walking distance. Enjoy mini-golfing, swimming at the private sandy beach, walk over to the Channel Inn, and enjoy their famous “Channel Burger”, or play sand volleyball at the nearby Gomsrud Park. Whether you’re traveling with kids, family, or friends, this location has something for everyone.

This home is roughly 2,000 square ft. that offers a large family room with windows facing the lake that includes an electric fireplace. NEWLY RENOVATED - JAN 2021!
Renovations include: new appliances, new flooring, new windows throughout the home, new countertop and backsplash, freshly painted kitchen cabinets, paneling removed with new Sheetrock and fresh paint. You will love the new look!
The sunken living room has a smart TV so you can stream Netflix, Hulu, etc. by logging into your accounts. We have cable and high speed internet available! The sliding glass door off of the living room takes you onto the deck where you can sit at the patio table and enjoy some grilling on the propane grill. There is a pull out Queen size sleeper sofa. Also on the main floor is the kitchen which is fully furnished to include all your basic needs. There is a laundry room with washer/dryer, vacuum, broom, and other basic cleaning needs. Off of the kitchen and laundry area is a coat closet that has a high chair, pack and play, and various board games for use. We have kayaks available for guest use as well!
The upstairs includes 3 large bedrooms all with new windows, new paint and carpet. Two rooms have lake views and the third bunk bedroom has a park view. All bedrooms have a box fan available (home also has central A/C). The upstairs bathroom is newly renovated with new flooring, tile, and vanity.
There is a sunken lower level bathroom that contains a cedar shower, toilet, and large vanity area with a sink for getting ready. There is a small single stall garage that is used by the owners for storage of lawn care items.
There are multiple spacious grassy areas for kids and adults to play yard games, fly kites, sand volleyball, etc.

The original carriage house to the next door mansion. Originally built in 1896, this Spacious house has several distinct hangout areas, including the newly opened carriage house basement bar. With a large open family, dining, kitchen area on the first floor and an outdoor patio of the back, there is room for the group to spread out or hangout together.

Our family cabin, located on beautiful Lake George, is the perfect vacation cabin you've been looking for. The property is located near the center of Lake George, also providing you with access to the chain of lakes in the Fairmont Area.
After time on the lake, whether it be swimming, fishing, tubing or simply relaxing on the water, you can enjoy the great local parks Fairmont has to offer, with Lincoln Park just a few steps away. The cabin is also located close to downtown Fairmont, which offers shopping and delicious restaurants – all within walking distance.
Completely renovated in 2023, our property boasts 4 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom with an open kitchen/dining room concept. The living room has large lake facing windows, for a relaxing view any time of the day. The kitchen is fully furnished to include a dishwasher and microwave.

- "This house is very clean and comfortable. The host is kind and clearly communicative. One thing to note is that this lake is the smallest of the chain of lakes and is sometimes unable to be used as a swim spot due to green algae, it depends upon the way the wind blows according to neighbors. Fishing off the dock was great. If you have a boat it would be wonderful to enjoy swimming near the center of the lake or tubing, water skiing etc. We flew in from out of town so did not have our boat with us this time but it has a spot for camp fire near the water. There is a down sloped hill to walk down in order to get the dock (just to keep in mind for disabled or elderly guests). Also, I don't think it was shown in images but there is a basement toilet for those who can't wait for the bathroom to become available. Also, a cabin like shower and washer dryer in the basement;) The decor and amenities in this house made our stay really comfortable and enjoyable! We will book again if needs arise in this area."

In the event that you request to stay longer than 7 days, we reserve the right to enter the home on a weekly basis to change the linens, towels and tidy up the house. Additional cleaning fees will be assessed on stays longer than 14-days.

The house has 3 bedrooms with 7 beds total. The bedrooms that are accessible to you during your stay is dependent on the number of guests. For stays with 5+ guests, you will have access to the upstairs bunk room which sleeps an additional 4 people and has a 1/2 bath. If you have access to the upstairs during your stay, it can get warm during summer months and cooler during winter months. We provide a fan and extra blankets. It is also helpful to leave the door open to the upstairs on the main floor to let the heat/air circulate. We have a security camera at the front entrance of the property facing the sidewalk.

We remodeled this rural house as our forever home and are now sharing it with you. Enjoy the natural light with large windows throughout the entire home built for comfort of large groups. Free WIFI is available throughout the house. There are four private bedrooms- two bedrooms with full size mattress on the upper level and two bedrooms on the main level (one with a queen mattress and one room with double twin mattress bunkbeds). There is a large living room with a 55" TV and lots of comfortable seating. A separate play room is equipped with TV, toys, and games. A full kitchen is equipped with all the basics you need and has a large dining room adjourning. A full sized washer and dryer are also located just off the kitchen. There are two bathrooms- one on the main level with a bathtub/shower combo, and one in the basement with a shower. The basement is a great hangout spot which includes a Billiards and Foosball tables. The double garage contains outdoor toys and games you can enjoy in the large yard. A campfire ring is provided along with one bundle of firewood. Additional bundles are available for purchase. If you stay during the winter, snow removal will be provided prior to your arrival. Shovels and salt will be provided for the remainder of your stay. There is a gas fireplace that will be accessible during the winter months.
If you have access to the upstairs during your stay, it can get warm during summer months and cooler during winter months. We provide a fan and extra blankets. It is also helpful to leave the door open to the upstairs on the main floor to let the heat/air circulate.
Early check-in requests are not guaranteed. In the event the house is available for early check-in, the fee will be $30 and would not happen before 2pm.

In August 2020 we installed a new Central Heat & AC unit.
There is a sound machine available with several settings for the perfect white noise effect.
If you are traveling as a family with a little one..there is a pack n' play set up in the closet and sheets in the dresser.

Guests have access to City of Lake's Retreat in it's entirety with the exception of a storage closet.

We have lovely, soft blankets for your use if you want to just cozy up and enjoy your stay.
There is a fan outside of the bedroom & on the bedroom closet shelf.
An iron and ironing board are located in the bedroom closet.
A laundry basket is available for use if you need to do a quick load at one of the local laundromats.
The kitchen has a tea kettle, coffee maker/brewer with a variety of coffee choices, hot chocolate and teas, cooking utensils, pots and pans, dishes, paper towels, oil, spices & salt and pepper available.

Cozy, boho chic, second-story private apartment located on Blue Earth's quaint Main Street. Conveniently located off of I-90 and Hwy 169. Within walking distance to grocery store, specialty shops, coffee/ice cream shop, parks, churches, and swimming pool. The space
This apartment is accessed by a set of stairs from a private entrance on charming Main Street. It is the only apartment above a local, vintage furniture store. It is very private. It has been freshly decorated in a vintage, boho chic style with all the amenities. There is a queen sized mattress in the bedroom and two, twin roll-out cots in the living room closet. All appliances are new and up-to-date in the kitchen and laundry area. You can cook a meal in, or eat out at one of our nearby restaurants. We hope you will love our sweet apartment as much as we do.

This space is the lower one half of a lake front walkout in a very nice quiet neighborhood. You will be able tho enjoy the lake scenes in all 4 seasons from the heated cedar porch. Watching wildlife is always entertaining and relaxing. In spring/Summer you can try your luck at fishing on the private dock. Fishing equipment is available at the house and a bait shop is only a couple miles away.The perennial garden adjacent to 4 season porch will add to the ambiance during the growing season.

The space
Free WIFI is available throughout the house. There are four private bedrooms- two bedrooms with full size mattress on the upper level and two bedrooms on the main level (one with a queen mattress and one room with double twin mattress bunkbeds). There is a large living room with a 55" TV and lots of comfortable seating. A separate play room is equipped with TV, toys, and games. A full kitchen is equipped with all the basics you need and has a large dining room adjourning. A full sized washer and dryer are also located just off the kitchen. There are two bathrooms- one on the main level with a bathtub/shower combo, and one in the basement with a shower. The basement is a great hangout spot which includes a Billiards and Foosball tables. The double garage contains outdoor toys and games you can enjoy in the large yard. A campfire ring is provided along with one bundle of firewood. Additional bundles are available for purchase. Bring your UTV and enjoy driving the rural roads in the area. With current MN State Registration class 2 UTV's can drive on Township and County Roads.

During the summer months there are times where the mosquito populations are higher and guests may want to use a bug repellant when enjoying outdoor activities at the property.

Enjoy a west-facing lake front property with a stunning view, perfect for fishing, water sports and 100% private dock & swimming. Every night you’ll watch the sun set from the oversized deck or from the patio. This house can sleep 10 on Hall Lake in Fairmont, MN ($10 fee added per person above 6 for added cleaning expenses). Have the entire home and dock to yourself for the perfect lake getaway!

The space
This lakefront home has been in our family for 4 generations. The home is a charming cross between a cabin and a cottage. You can expect comfort combined with rustic character, ready for the outdoor adventurer! While not huge or fancy, all descriptions and photos are meant to paint an accurate picture of this quaint cottage. The lake itself is over 530 acres and 25 ft deep, and part of chain of 5 lakes with boat access to 4 of them, known for great fishing. Several restaurants have boat access including Channel Inn which is home of Minnesota's best burger, and the Ambience restaurant and bar is a 3-minute walk. The private dock is a whopping 32 feet wide allowing multiple boats to be tied up if needed.

*Please note, the dock is removed end of October and put back in the spring.

The main floor boasts a bright, airy sunroom, open floor plan, very small kitchen opening to huge deck overlooking the lake, small dining area, small bathroom & shower and 2 bedrooms.

As you go up very narrow stairs you enter the upstairs area of the cottage. This includes two different sleeping areas. One that is private with a full bed and one is a shared space with two twin beds. Both spaces include the slanted ceilings known to older 1 1/2 story homes. Upstairs you’ll also find surprises for the littlest adventurers! Throwback Corner includes favorite vintage toys and the Elf Room is a kids only space! Although the house has central air the upstairs is warm at night in the summer. Extra fans are provided.

The basement is modest and unfinished. It is cool, quiet and dark with a walk-out door (perfect for the late night fisherman!), includes one more small private bath and shower, very small bedroom with queen bed, dining area and refrigerator and walk out exit to lake front steps. The open space is also great for playing indoor games.

In addition, you’ll enjoy a grill and outdoor seating, as well as the perfect campfire landing overlooking the lake. We recently added party lighting to the lower patio for more outside entertainment. And you won’t believe the array of stars & constellations you can view from your private dock.

All linens, sheets, towels, garbage bags, toilet paper included. Coffee pot & filters on site, please bring your own grounds of choice! Dishes, towels and silverware are in the cupboards, if you prefer paper please bring your own.

*recommended to bring: sunscreen, bug spray, water shoes to wear if swimming, a feel good attitude, toiletries (shampoo, conditioner), Minnesota fishing license (if desired).

Great lake house well set up for families or friends, for either a week end getaway or an extended stay. It is a smaller, older home that we do our best to make cozy and comfortable.

Make sure to bring your fishing poles & hit the local bait shop, just up the block, for some excellent fishing right off your own private dock. Catfish, bass, walleye, crappie, bluegill, perch, and even some northern pike and muskies!

This cabin has a gorgeous view of Budd Lake whether you are enjoying the sunrise or an evening by the campfire. The patio is a great place to relax or enjoy a meal. Budd lake is one of 4 lakes included in the chain of lakes that offer great fishing and recreational opportunities. There are 3 bar & grills located on the chain of lakes and several more great restaurants within Fairmont.

The space
The cabin has a cozy living room with a beautiful view of the lake and a fully equipped kitchen with an island for inside seating. There are a few games for evening or rainy day entertainment along with a smart TV. The master bedroom (king bed) is on the main floor with a full bathroom/tub. There are 3 bedrooms (queen beds) upstairs with another full bathroom/shower. There is a small loft with 2 single mattresses for additional sleeping. The washer and dryer are located in the basement with a half bath. Our outdoor space is shaded and has a patio with a fire pit- Wood is available to enjoy a bonfire. You can also enjoy the sunshine on the spacious dock. There is room for a boat along the dock for loading/unloading passengers.

You will have access to the main floor, upstairs and basement (unfinished). We do have neighbors on both sides who are friendly so please respect them and their property.
One note- there are steps from the roadside to the cabin and 3 of the 4 bedrooms are upstairs so this is not a handicap accessible home.

There is the Fairmont Aquatic Park and mini golf located a mile away. We are located on Hall Lake with access to 3 other lakes that are interconnected by channels.
There’s a public beach at Gomsrud Park and on Sisseton Lake.
Bait shop located 1/2 mile and is a full service bait shop.
We have several steps down to the dock that are made out of large rocks, may be difficult for those that aren’t steady on their feet.
