The bedroom has a king bed, a rocker recliner, an attached bathroom with a shower and a great view of the vineyard.
The great room has a daybed with a trundle bed in one corner that looks out over the vineyard. The sitting area has 2 couches with a 55" big screen TV and a DVD player. The kitchen nook has a built in bar and includes a microwave, small refrigerator/freezer, counter top double burner, electric griddle, crock pot, coffee maker, and more. This vacation rental is a loft above the winery tasting room and has windows that look down into the tasting room. You can see through the 20 foot floor to ceiling windows of the tasting room and see the pond in the foreground and the timber in the background.. It is an amazing view.
As vacation rental guests you will share the giant deck around the winery with our winery guests. Summer hours are from 1-5 Saturday, and Sunday, and 3-9:00 on Friday. You can have a fire in the shared fire pit and grill some burgers on the grill. There is a propane grill on the deck which you can use. Explore the pond with one of our canoes, kayaks, or paddle boat. Test your fishing skills against the large mouth bass. Swimming in the crystal clear pond is a favorite activity during the summer months. Try some of our award winning wines. Wine tasting is free during the wineries regular business hours. All the grapes are grown on our farm, and we have everything from dry to semi sweet. There are trails on our timber farm that lead to the other vineyards. They are available for hiking. The Little Sioux River is just a mile to the South and provides many access points for canoeing, fishing, floating, etc. We are centrally located for the Northwest Iowa Prairie wine trail. We are about an hour South of the Iowa Great Lakes with all that it has to offer. We are 20 miles North of Storm Lake. We are 8 miles from the Prairie Heritage Museum just outside of Peterson. We are just a mile from the Glacial Scenic Byway.
Please be advised that occasionally there are parties in the winery. We will try to inform you in advance so you can plan accordingly.

- "Great location! Comfortable bed, well stocked, except no creamer or sugar for the coffee. The plastic dish drainer could use either a good scrub or replacement & the kitchen sponge was old and shredded, so threw it away, but there were dishcloths we used instead. Flies were prevalent inside & out with goats nextdoor, but a fly swatter was provided. Good breeze in evening helped eliminate the flies." - "Truly, Iowa at its best. The loft is plentiful big and the views are beautiful. You even have a lake view that is clear enough to see fish swimming. The farm across the street has goats and sheep that we loved to hear. Welcome to Back 40s cabin. The cabin was just built the summer of 2022. We are located in Northwest Iowa. The cabin is 1600 square foot with a heated 1200 square foot attached garage. Pets are welcome in the garage. We have a few kennels you are welcome to use. The cabin sleeps 8, with 2 full size beds in 2 bedrooms and a queen size bed in the third bedroom. There are 2 full size bathrooms along with a full laundry room. The cabin will be nice and cozy on those cold days with in floor heat throughout the entire cabin and garage. The hunting dogs will love it after a long hunt. Guests will not have to worry about pets being able to get aired out. You will also not have to worry about your pets safety, as they have their own space in the garage.

There is a gas grill available for your use. There is also a chest freezer to utilize for your game. We are ¼ mile from the road. Pets are welcome to run the yard and use the ponds to swim but no hunting is allowed on the property.

We feel the Back 40s cabin is in one of the best locations in Iowa for hunting, boating, and fishing. For the hunters, there is thousands of acres of public hunting just steps from the cabin. The cabin itself sits on the north end of Trumble lake. We have 3500 foot of lake shore and the duck hunters are welcome to park the boat along the shore for an early start without having to put a boat in the first thing in the morning. The cabin is just minutes from Barringer slough, Dan Green Slough, and Dewey's pasture water fowl production area. All the places carry high numbers of ducks, geese, deer, and pheasants. In the future we may have an option for a guide on pheasant hunting. We will have some great Wirehairs for you to watch and enjoy a hunt. For the fisherman and boaters, we are 5 miles from Lost Island lake, 20 miles to Okoboji and Big Spirt.

Located on the Spencer Municipal Golf Course, this property is perfect for a quiet getaway and a golfer's paradise! Shared spaces are the Firepit, grill and patios furnished for grilling or relaxing. Only 20 minutes away from the Okoboji, Arnolds Park and Spirit Lake areas. There are 4 Queen size beds: 2 1/2 baths. Free WIFI provided for our guests. This is our home, it is located on an acreage near Lost Island Lake and is a half hour from Okoboji. You have privacy, yet 1/4 mile from the lake. Lots of wildlife, great fishing and hunting. Near Barringer Slough. Outside space has a patio and fire pit.This is a country home with great views. We are a dog friendly place.

Suite #1 is a quaint oasis with plenty of space for several guests. We have created a warm, welcoming space for our quests to feel comfortable and at home. With a modern ecclectic style with some touches of our local favorites so that you can experience a bit of what downtown Spencer has to offer. This units quirk is that the bathroom is located inside the bedroom. The bedroom has a spacious closet and we have placed some good storage in the livingroom as this is where the second bed is located. A coin operated laundry is located in the basement

This spacious cottage is centrally located between Spencer and the lakes area, right off of Hwy 71. The upstairs loft features a queen, full and a single bed, desk, and closet and lots of space. The main level has a full kitchen with dining space, large living room with two couches and a TV, and a full bathroom with washer and dryer. This is a great place for long term stays as it offers your own private accommodations and off-street parking.
