We’ve met all of our neighbors via the front porch, it’s our favorite spot!

LIVING SPACE: The front of the home holds the Living room and open concept kitchen.
Two sofas provide seating for 5, with bookshelves stocked with books, magazines, games and record player for your enjoyment.
The Smart TV over the gas fireplace is ready to go with for any streaming service you want to log into.
The huge stone fireplace is centrally located w new propane insert providing warm cozy nights simply by clicking a remote control.
The stainless-steel kitchen offers a large refrigerator/freezer, floor to ceiling pantry for storage, farm-style sink, dishwasher, microwave, and coffee station (drip, french press, bean grinder). Oh, and let’s not forget a ‘Mad Men’ style bar for the all-important cocktail!
Well stocked with cooking pots, pans, baking sheets and glassware, you will have everything on hand to prepare whatever might be on the menu. Room darkening shades can be drawn for complete privacy in both the living area and game/dining area.

Off the living/kitchen is a large dining room with seating for 6, and a desk for those who can’t quite shake off work responsibilities :-(
Nest to the dining area is the fun spot! Enjoy some fun time on the 2 person Arcade Table with 60 old-school games like Pac-Man, Galaga, Donkey Kong and more, or challenge each other to the 9’ Shuffle-board table or oversized Connect4 game. If you don't want to shake your morning workout routine, there's plenty of floor space for yoga and pilates. The French doors in the game room open out to the front drive where we have the Hot Tub, Solo firepit and BBQ for outdoor time

Local Area and Attractions:
The Love Shack is situated in the Split Rock area of Lake Harmony. One block away from the Split Rock Resort and beach bar, you can stroll down to the grassy area and sit on a blanket to see the activities on the lake! Rent a kayak, paddle board or other watercraft from yeti water sports and have your own adventure! The Split Rock neighborhood is quiet, backing up to state game lands. Great area to take long strolls with your loved one or pet.
Some of our favorite local attractions are the JackFrost/BigBoulder ski resorts- each one only 2-5 miles from our door in either direction. H2Ooooo Waterpark and Split Rock Golf Course are just ½ mile away. Unbelievable hikes with waterfalls, boulder fields and more are in any direction you turn. White water rafting, paintball skirmish, and ATV tours are just 10minutes away. Kalahari Water Park is 20 minutes, Camelback summer and winter parks are 25 minutes away
We are fortunate to have convenience stores for those last minute items (including adult beverages) at either end of the lake, and some of the best restaurants and bars in he Poconos just a mile away!

Black Bear Cozy Cabin is a 2 bedroom 1 bath rancher 1/2 a block from Lake Harmony. It is dog friendly so you don’t have to leave your beloved pet at home. Imagine enjoying your morning coffee on this quiet street while enjoying the deer strolling by from the large decks. You will enjoy plenty of parking and an easy stroll down to the lake. Your stroll will take you to the public kayak boat launch/ swimming / fishing area of Lake Harmony. Bring our provided kayaks, your fishing poles and provided tubes and enjoy the water. We are sure you will enjoy being within walking distance to all the restaurants and Split Rock Resort. Nicks Lake House, Shenanigans, Piggies, and Terra Cottage are maybe 3 tenths of a mile up the road to your right. This Ranch features hard wood floors throughout and a cozy cabin decor. - Four Boulder Lake Club passes are provided, but additional passes can be purchased before check-in. The rates are $25 per person per day, $125 for 4 people for 4 days, or $150 for 4 people for 7 days. The Club features access to the lake/beach, pool, volleyball, tennis, boat/watersport rentals, and more. Please note that Boulder Lake Club is only open on weekends.

- "My husband and I booked a long weekend getaway at Lake Harmony, and this property was delightful. The townhouse is lovely with a really well-appointed kitchen and two full modern baths. And everything was so clean!!! The beds were comfy and everything we needed for a great weekend was provided. We were planning on going to the lake and pool, which is about 50 yards out the back door, but the weather didn't cooperate, so we sat and listened to the trees and nature and it was so soothing. We did pop in to Jim Thorpe for a fun train ride and some shopping, and then to dinner at the Boulder View Tavern for the best burgers anywhere. We really enjoyed our stay. 10/10 would recommend. "
