LIVING SPACE: The front of the home holds the Living room and open concept kitchen.

The huge stone fireplace is centrally located w new propane insert providing warm cozy nights simply by clicking a remote control.
The stainless-steel kitchen offers a large refrigerator/freezer, floor to ceiling pantry for storage, farm-style sink, dishwasher, microwave, and coffee station (drip, french press, bean grinder). Oh, and let’s not forget a ‘Mad Men’ style bar for the all-important cocktail!
Well stocked with cooking pots, pans, baking sheets and glassware, you will have everything on hand to prepare whatever might be on the menu. Room darkening shades can be drawn for complete privacy in both the living area and game/dining area.

Off the living/kitchen is a large dining room with seating for 6, and a desk for those who can’t quite shake off work responsibilities :-(
Nest to the dining area is the fun spot! Enjoy some fun time on the 2 person Arcade Table with 60 old-school games like Pac-Man, Galaga, Donkey Kong and more, or challenge each other to the 9’ Shuffle-board table or oversized Connect4 game. If you don't want to shake your morning workout routine, there's plenty of floor space for yoga and pilates. The French doors in the game room open out to the front drive where we have the Hot Tub, Solo firepit and BBQ for outdoor time

Local Area and Attractions:
The Love Shack is situated in the Split Rock area of Lake Harmony. One block away from the Split Rock Resort and beach bar, you can stroll down to the grassy area and sit on a blanket to see the activities on the lake! Rent a kayak, paddle board or other watercraft from yeti water sports and have your own adventure! The Split Rock neighborhood is quiet, backing up to state game lands. Great area to take long strolls with your loved one or pet.
Some of our favorite local attractions are the JackFrost/BigBoulder ski resorts- each one only 2-5 miles from our door in either direction. H2Ooooo Waterpark and Split Rock Golf Course are just ½ mile away. Unbelievable hikes with waterfalls, boulder fields and more are in any direction you turn. White water rafting, paintball skirmish, and ATV tours are just 10minutes away. Kalahari Water Park is 20 minutes, Camelback summer and winter parks are 25 minutes away
We are fortunate to have convenience stores for those last minute items (including adult beverages) at either end of the lake, and some of the best restaurants and bars in he Poconos just a mile away!

Black Bear Cozy Cabin is a 2 bedroom 1 bath rancher 1/2 a block from Lake Harmony. It is dog friendly so you don’t have to leave your beloved pet at home. Imagine enjoying your morning coffee on this quiet street while enjoying the deer strolling by from the large decks. You will enjoy plenty of parking and an easy stroll down to the lake. Your stroll will take you to the public kayak boat launch/ swimming / fishing area of Lake Harmony. Bring our provided kayaks, your fishing poles and provided tubes and enjoy the water. We are sure you will enjoy being within walking distance to all the restaurants and Split Rock Resort. Nicks Lake House, Shenanigans, Piggies, and Terra Cottage are maybe 3 tenths of a mile up the road to your right. This Ranch features hard wood floors throughout and a cozy cabin decor. As soon as you enter Cozy Cove Cabin, you will be amazed at how spacious, beautiful and comfortable this home is. There is a cathedral ceiling in the living room, with large windows, giving the cabin an open, airy feeling.

The main floor has a living room with a stacked stone, wood burning fireplace, which is seasonally available and comfortable seating. The kitchen has been updated and has new granite countertops. It includes a refrigerator, full sized stove and microwave/stove hood combination, and is full of pots, pans, glasses, dishes and all cooking necessities.
There is a dining table for 4, perfect for a quick breakfast or a lingering, romantic dinner overlooking the beautiful Lake Harmony woods. There is also a uniquely designed full bath on the main floor along with two bedrooms, each with queen-size beds. The master bedroom has a sliding glass door that opens onto the large deck and beautiful entertaining area.

A full-size washer and dryer are conveniently located in the home with some laundry pods provided. You may want to bring more for an extended stay.
Upstairs, you will find the loft room with a cozy gas fireplace built into the wall. This is a tranquil place where you can relax and have your coffee in the morning or just hang out snuggled up. There is a completely remodeled full bathroom on the second floor with a new granite topped vanity and toilet, and soft towels.
On the covered back deck you can find a nice, sitting area overlooking the fire pit along with a beautiful wooded view. Relax on the swing in the woods or sit by the fire enjoying some peach and quiet or enjoy making smores.

This is a great cabin for a romantic getaway or a place to relax and enjoy the mountain air; there is a lot to do in the area, and its's a nice spot if you just want a little down time.

Come to our cozy, family friendly townhome. In the winter, enjoy some skiing/snowboarding at Big Boulder mountain. Within walking distance is the Mountains Edge restaurant and bar. Mountains Edge is a great place all year round to enjoy a happy hour and watch a sunset. In the summer Lake Harmony has many beach amenities such as boating, volleyball, tennis, paddle boating and fishing! Within 3 miles is Shenanigans and Nicks Lake House restaruants/bar. Within 20 minutes is the town of Jim Thorpe which has much more to offer such as shows, tours and bike riding!

"This Townhome is in a prime location with a very short walk (down a gravel path from the parking lot) to the Boulder Lake Club as well as the Boulder Lake Tavern. It is also less than 1 mile to the slopes at Big Boulder Ski. On the weekends live music from the tavern can be heard from our deck or if you want, enjoy it at the tavern along with drinks on the lake and walk back to bed! This is one of the few units with a large walk around deck perfect for a BBQ and entertaining."

The bedrooms have air-conditioning. The rest of the house is cooled (with assistance from open windows) by sucking hot air through the attic. This is controlled by a switch located on the wall next to the bathroom.
There is a private room that guests will not be permitted to use, located to the left of the stairs as you walk in through the front door.

The host was very kind and left us a great bottle of cabernet, a nice welcome card, and two huge squash from his garden. Communication was so easy I forgot to let him know we arrived. 1) Only registered guests are allowed to stay at the house.
2) If a party is detected by the noise monitoring system, it automatically contacts local law enforcement. The city is pretty cautious to ensure that no one is disturbed.
3) Unfortunately, there is no A/C yet in my unit. :(
4) My unit can accommodate maximum of 5 guests but I have put 4 guests max for the most comfortable stay.

We do not provide daily housekeeping service at our place. We clean everything and provide one set of fresh bed linens and towels before you arrive so it's all ready for you! :)

Guests can obtain daily lake and beach passes from the Lake Harmony Inn. Passes are 30 dollars per person for the day from 11am-5pm. Passes are sold at the white tent by the lake front, which includes access to the beach, game room, volleyball court and bathrooms. You can also inquire about boat/kayak rentals.

The Villa is a two-story single home on a 1/2 wooded Acre lot. It comfortably sleeps up to 5 guests. Although off the beaten path, it's in walking distance to eateries and convenience shopping. Near attractions: JF/BB Ski Slopes, Hickory Run State Park, Historic town of Jim Thorpe. If you're here for work, travel to Wilkes-Barre and Stroudsburg are approx 30-45 minutes. Other things to know: the home is in walking distance to Nick's Lake House, Boulder View, and Shenanigan restaurants.

WINTERTIME:
Big Boulder Ski and Snowboard is at the bottom of our neighborhood! super convenient for you winter enthusiasts :) Start your day at the sister mountain, Jack Frost, a short 8minute drive and get your day runs in... pop home for a hot meal, and jump over to Big Boulder for night boarding until 10pm! In a few short minutes your Apres' beverage can be in hand in front of the fire!

The space
Open space living area with a 65” TV, queen sofa bed and sliding doors onto a small deck with a view of the woods, golf course and pond. There is a propane grill for your barbecue. Adjoining kitchen has everything you need. Downstairs, the Master bedroom has a king bed and its own bathroom. Second bedroom has a queen bunk on the bottom, twin on top and pullout twin trundle. There is a hall bath and a dry sauna. The cabinet has plenty of games for a rainy day.

The kitchen and dining area are on the other side of the fireplace so it’s very easy to keep conversations going between all of the rooms and no one needs to miss out.
The kitchen has beautiful granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and offers all of the necessary cooking utensils to help you create your best meals ever.

The family room has high vaulted ceilings, a wood burning fireplace, sectional sofa, lots of games for family time, and a smart TV w local cable channels. From the dining area you can access the sliding glass doors to enjoy the rear deck where you can grill, dine or watch the sunset. Facing the Big Boulder Lake, you will be able to see the lake thru the trees at different times of the year.

Summertime stays come with FREE Lake Club access, providing heated Pool, Beach, Tennis, basketball, boat rentals, ping pong, cornhole, bocci, volleyball, tennis & picnic area! Something for everyone! Rent your own electric pontoon boat, paddle boat, kayak and more!
Right next door to the Lake Club is Boulder View Tavern where you can grab a meal & cocktail overlooking the lake!

In the winter months you can't get much closer to Big Boulder ski & snowboard Mountain, a mere 1/8th of a mile away!
Start your day at Jack Frost, 6miles away and wrap up with nighttime runs at Big Boulder.

Parking: we have 2 designated spots in front of the home with 2 additional guest parking passes for the visitor and overflow spaces located around the community. These spaces are available on a 'first come basis'.

• Split Rock Golf Course & Jack Frost National Golf Course are both less than 5 miles away.
• The ever-popular Nick's Lake House and Shenanigans are less than 1 mile away for a fabulous meal and great cocktail. The sunsets at Nick's outdoor bar cannot be beat in the summertime!
•Split Rock Lodge on Lake Harmony has an outdoor beach bar, Thirsty Moose restaurant and more.
*The Hub is a super cute shopping and eatery, and offers an upstairs bar with an outdoor patio overlooking the golf course and a golf simulator!
• Harmony Watersports can rent paddleboards, canoes, sessions for tubing, wakeboarding, and waterskiing. Harmony will also rent sessions on a pontoon boat so you can fit everyone at once!
• Captain Wolf will take you on a lake cruise around Lake Harmony
