Everything in the house is brand new!! It is beautiful and it was super clean. The host went above and beyond with communication to make sure that we knew where everything was and how to use the pull out bed in the living room. The host has literally thought of everything and had so many extras for guest. They had shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower, extra tooth brushes and tooth paste, other toiletries, a great selection of coffees for the Keurig and even umbrella’s by the front door. There is not one negative thing to say about this place and we will definitely be staying here again next year if it’s available."

TinRoofSundae Cabin is located approximately 6 miles east of Marceline, Missouri, on Hwy WW. It overlooks the newly restored Brush Creek wetland. Visitors have access to over 600+ acres of native timber and grasslands. Guests are welcome to hike the trails, rockhop Brush Creek, or enjoy an afternoon of fishing in the pond.

Construction on the cabin was completed in the fall of 2017. The exterior of the cabin provides ample sitting space (and great views), with a covered front porch and covered back deck, each expanding the full length of the cabin. The interior is rustic in design, but with modern floors, fully accommodated kitchen, washer/dryer, heating and air conditioning.

The master bedroom features a king-size bed, walk-in closet, and attached bathroom and beautiful views from the upper level of the home. The master bath contains a jacuzzi tub, double sinks, and walk-in shower. The guest room on the main floor has a queen bed and closet. The bunk room is located on the second floor and was designed with a little help from our four sons! With three full beds, topped by four (yes, four) twin beds, it is sure to be a favorite spot for the young-at-heart!

A grill, fire pit and firewood, and a pond with dock are all located just a few steps out the front door!

There is also a train that runs behind the property. There is no crossing close, so it will be the train going through town, but no whistle.

It made sense to stay here due to the proximity to Brookfield as well as the fact that a big part of our tournament was to support local businesses, just like this rental. House was exceptionally clean and the owner was very quick to respond to any questions. Very relaxing atmosphere and about five minutes from town. Check in was convenient and there was no two page “do and don’t” instruction sheet like you sometimes find. Nice large beds, two bathrooms and multiple rooms to watch TV or just relax. We had two vehicles with trailers and trailer parking was very easy. Overall great stay and plenty of property to relax on."

The view from the back porch was beautiful… lush green trees ….This is unbelievable, but there were no mosquitoes. We enjoyed the fresh air sitting outside on the deck. We brought a firestick and watched a couple movies in the reclining furniture…. very comfortable. Some of the beds on the lower level were air mattresses of good quality… no complaints …. everyone in our family slept well. No bedroom doors as everything is very open. The cabin was very clean… but i could smell that cats were there before us. We spent much of our vacation outside of the cabin…. sightseeing, fishing and visiting family. We would rent this cabin again and give it 5 stars."
