With 3 bathrooms offering a bathtub and shower, guests will feel right at home. The perfect place for a family get away. Private wooded area with a beautiful view. Spacious two story house with large living room and large dining room, 5 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The view of 2 ponds right out the front door is beautiful. You will find the new paved bike trail through the trees that will bring you to the city park and right into town for your convenience. There is a story behind this property: The house was moved from about 7 miles east of Luverne in June 2021.

The Dutch Inn is your home away from home! Enter the front door and be welcomed by large seating area with comfy couch, glider rockers, power lift chair, and dinning table. A smart TV with wireless internet rounds out the living room. Just off the living room is a kitchenette featuring a sink, full size refrigerator, toaster oven, two burner hot plate, coffee pot, cookware and table settings. Down the hallway from the kitchenette is a full bath with step in shower and next to that is a half bath. Two bedrooms with queens bed, one bedroom with a full bed and one room with a twin bed gives everyone a bit of privacy. We do not accept pets at this time at the inn.

The location of this property for our travels daily to Pipestone was perfect. The place was clean and comfortable and the neighborhood was great. Only complaint was the flies about eat us up, which I know Kendra has no control over. Would definitely recommend this property" - "We were in the area for a wedding and the Dutch Inn met all of our needs for the time we were there. Our option was to consider two hotel rooms but this was much better as it put all of us under one roof and provided a large enough area to hang out together. Welcome to Country Escape! Relax with the whole family at this peaceful getaway in the country. Located near the small town of Beaver Creek, MN, this home away from home will provide a quiet respite from the busyness of life. Surrounded by corn and soybean fields, you will get a taste of true country life. About 1 mile south of Interstate 90, and just across the Minnesota/South Dakota border, it's a short 20 minute drive to/from East Sioux Falls, SD.

The space
This spacious home has 6 themed bedrooms, a game room which can be used as another bedroom, 3 full bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, 2 living rooms, 3-stall garage, deck and fire pit area.

MAIN FLOOR:

*Kitchen: You'll find everything you need to whip up a delicious home-cooked meal. We have a combination coffee pot/Keurig with k-cups/ground coffee, creamer, and sugar. Fully stocked cupboards with electric griddle, blender, hand mixer, crock pot (+disposable liners), pots/pans, mixing bowls, measuring cups/spoons, pitchers, utensils, and a toaster. Salt/pepper, cooking spray, olive oil, ketchup, mustard, ranch, and parmesan cheese provided.

Dining Room: large farmhouse table with 10 chairs plus room for 2 more at the counter. 2 booster seats with trays provided.

*Living room: Relax in this cozy, spacious area with a full-size couch, armchair, love seat, coffee table, TV, fireplace, 2 end tables.

*Laundry Room: Want to go home with clean clothes? Our laundry room is equipped with a washer and dryer, along with complimentary detergent for your convenience.

*Master Bedroom "WINTER": King size bed, two nightstands with charging station and lamps, dresser with mirror, full length mirror, walk-in closet with hangers, connected to master bathroom.

*Master Bathroom: Large bathtub (no jets, but a great place to relax with bubbles), shower, toilet, counter/sink, mirror. Fully stocked with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. We provide towels, washcloths, bubbles, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, plus a few extra toiletries in case you forget something.

*Queen bedroom "Summer": Queen bed, two nightstands with charging station and lamps, full length mirror, two luggage racks, closet with hangers.

*Queen bedroom "Fall": Queen bed, two nightstands with charging station, lamps on headboard, dresser, full length mirror, luggage rack, closet with hangers.

*2nd Bathroom: Bathtub, toilet, counter/sink, mirror. Fully stocked with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. We provide towels, washcloths, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, Johnson's baby soap and lotion, kid's soap, plus a few extra toiletries in case you forget something.

LOWER LEVEL:

*Living Room: Looking for more space to spread out and relax? Our lower level living area has everything you need for a cozy night in. Kick back on the comfortable seating and enjoy your favorite movie or show on the Smart TV. Three extra saucer chairs are available for extra seating. A small dining table with four chairs make it easy to play games, serve snacks, or fix a puzzle! Full size couch, recliner, love seat, coffee table, TV, round table with four chairs, fireplace.

*Game room: Futon (small twin size), coffee table, wall tic-tac-toe, train table, toys, games, puzzles, closet with hangers. This room has versatility! We have it set up as a space for kids to play, but we would be happy to add a twin bed and have the futon ready to use as a sleep space (see pictures). We can remove the train table if you desire. An air bed is also available.

*"Petting Zoo" room: triple twin bunk, twin bunk, small dresser, luggage rack, nightstand with charging station, lamp.

* King bedroom "SPRING": king size bed, dresser, luggage rack, two nightstands with charging station and lamps, closet with hangers.

*"BEAR" room: Two twin bunk beds, nightstand with charging station and lamp, small dresser, luggage rack, closet with hangers.

*Bathroom: Fully stocked with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. We provide towels, washcloths, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, plus a few extra toiletries in case you forget something. Equipped with a shower, counter with double sink, mirror, toilet.

Garage/Parking: With a triple stall heated garage, and a driveway that fits 4 cars, you'll never have to worry about finding a spot for your vehicle during your stay.

Baby/Kid Amenities: Two booster chairs with trays can be easily attached to the kitchen chairs. Two pack-n-plays are available in the downstairs hall closet. Exersaucer, bouncy seat, floor gym, baby toys, and baby monitor, night lights and a white noise machine are available during your stay. **For longer stay guests, a regular size crib is available upon request.

Backyard: Step outside onto the spacious deck to grill, share a meal, or relax around the firepit. Firewood is provided. Stroll around the yard and enjoy the peaceful setting as the birds serenade you in the trees.

NOTES:
This property is just off the highway, so you will need to drive on a gravel road for a short distance. There is a train track used for storage right next to the property. Occasionally the cars will be moved one direction or the other during daytime hours only.

Feel free to go for a walk or run down the country gravel road. Please wear bright clothing as the road is moderately busy.

Our house is located on the same property as a functioning dog boarding facility. You may see vehicles coming and going on the property as we do have customers that drop off and pick up their pets in the mornings and afternoons. Please do not go inside the barn or other outbuildings on the property.

Guest access
Guests have full access to the house, except for the locked mechanical room where we store extra supplies. Guests may use the attached garage, along with the grass area surrounding the house. A large deck and firepit area are provided for guests to use.

Midwest Dog Boarding is located on the south end of the property and utilizes the second driveway. Guests will need to park in the attached garage or on the front driveway. No parking or playing in the business parking lot/driveway.

Have a pet? We don't allow pets in the house, but we DO offer boarding for our guests at the on-site kennel for $12/day. Contact us for details.

The barn, boarding kennel, and indoor/outdoor kennel are off limits.

Other things to note
Wifi is available for all guests. Two Smart TV's are available so that guests can use their own streaming services when they arrive.

We have plenty of floor space to add extra guests. We can provide quality air mattresses and bedding, camping mats and/or sleeping bags.
