- "We were in town for a family reunion and the apartment fit our needs. It was very clean. Beds were comfortable. There were plenty of towels. It was nice to have a full-size fridge. Crista was very responsive. There is plenty of parking. The apartment is within walking distance of shopping and many restaurants. The only negatives I have are easily remedied and should not deter anyone from renting here. First, TVs in the unit only offer streaming and there are no instructions as to how to use them, for those unfamiliar. Second, there were no instructions on how to lock the door. We discovered that we had to enter the code and push the lock button twice in order to secure the unit. Simple instructions for these two concerns should make this unit a great choice for anyone."

Owners have done a lovely job updating. Check in was a bit challenging as the cleaners locked the wrong door and getting the code required a couple calls, but it gave us time to start unloading the car, no big deal. Fans were provided in every room, which was great because it did tend to stay a bit warm on the second level. It IS an old home, so this shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone staying here. Checkout instructions were simple, not a ton of work for us. Loved having laundry available - including a sink to soak white softball pants! 😂 We want to book again next year when we’re in town for the same event. Cheers!"

The highlight of this apartment we affectionately refer to as "The Arena" is the open concept kitchen. We hope you will enjoy spending time with friends and family watching the big games on 2 TV's, playing some cards on the convertible poker/dining room table, or just hanging out enjoying your company. The kitchen is fully stocked and ready for you to prepare game-time snacks or a full dinner. If cooking isn't your thing, there are many options for dining or take out within walking distance.

Another cool, unexpected, feature of The Arena is that the 2nd story apartment actually has an upstairs! If you are looking for a more comfortable place to watch the game (or your favorite movie when the game is on in the kitchen), this room provides an additional TV area with theater style recliners and giant bean bags.

Not convinced yet?? Well my personal favorite part of The Arena has quickly become the custom arcade. It is located in the same open area as the poker table and kitchen so you can still be a part of the gathering all while playing your favorite arcade games. This unit was designed (also with a Minnesota sports theme) and built locally by Retro Replay Arcades. With over 5,000 games available, I hope you enjoy re-living your childhood arcade memories as much as we have. No quarters required!

The photos don’t do this place justice, it’s very spacious and had many amenities.We have two children, so the park just around the corner was an awesome plus with two play sets and a baseball field. Rustic cozy peaceful escape in a safe and quiet neighborhood within 2 blocks from Mayo Hospital and Bethany College with a children's park, hockey rink and tennis courts just across the street. There are 2 bedrooms with queen beds for an accommodation of 4 people and two full baths with one on the main floor and one upstairs with the bedrooms. This rustic gem has a lot of charm and character including slanted and squeaky floors and a claw foot tub in the upstairs bath. The warmth and coziness of this home will create a feeling of peacefulness that you will not want to leave. Enjoy the outdoor fire pit from spring to fall.

Although we encourage light steps and quiet voices in the other Airbnb, you might be able to hear guests. We have provided sound machines in each bedroom for your convenience.

Stay a night or a week in a beautifully renovated arts center in downtown New Ulm! This historic building once housed a hotel and now includes a large private one bedroom apartment on the third floor with a large full bath and kitchen with gas stove.

My house is well located in a quiet residential area with Flandrau State Park and Nehl's Park a close 15 minute walk away. Schell's Brewery and Martin Luther College are also close at a 30 minute walk. The Bike trail passes right by the house, and our town is small, so downtown and everything else is only a short drive or bike away.

The space
The bedrooms have queen sized beds and get a lot of natural light. The main bathroom will be private to you during your stay. The bedrooms, living room, and kitchen are all on the main floor of the house, and the bedrooms are accessed through the main house entrances. The living room has a TV with some streaming apps available. The living room and kitchen areas are shared with the host, but guests can request private use of these areas if desired.

Guests will have keyless access to the house during their stay.

The home can sleep 8 adults very comfortably, but the nightly pricing is set for two occupants and additional guests are $30 per person. This allows you the option of staying in a fully furnished home at a reasonable rate whether your group is large or small.

The space
There is plenty of space to spread out on the main level with a large 3 season porch and a separate living room which doubles as an office .
The sunny galley style kitchen features stainless steel appliances .
Feather pillows , blackout curtains and fluffy duvets ensure a good night's rest. There are 3 bedrooms, one on the main level with a queen bed, double closets and full bathroom off of the hallway. Upstairs you'll find two additional bedrooms, one is a master suite with double closets and 3/4 bath while the other bedroom has two full size beds and a half bath off of the hallway.

Decor is a blend of cottage meets modern with a touch of New Ulm whimsy.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire main level and second floor. Keyless entry on front door. The basement level is unfinished and unaccesible to guests. Free parking on side streets, behind the house on gravel or in the driveway.
