Relax with the whole family at this completely renovated home on nearly 5 acres. Whether you choose to spend a day on the water or just at the property, you'll love your stay here. We are located just 4 miles from the closest Mark Twain Lake access, which has hiking trails as well. Fish, hunt, or love to explore small towns? This is the place for you. Everyone's favorite activity is sitting around the bonfire and looking for satellites. Plenty of parking. A small fishing pond is also available.

The entire home was gutted a rehabbed in 2022. All the systems are also brand new. The main floor has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an open floorplan for living spaces. The lower level is also finished and provides an additional bunk room, day bed, and a living room with a pull-out couch. There is also a 3rd bathroom and laundry room in the lower level.

You will have access to the entire home and property. There is a large barn on the property as well that will be locked from access. However, you can use the outlets on the barn if needed to charge boat batteries or anything else.

Three spacious bedrooms that will sleep 8 comfortably with room for setting up the portable queen size bed for added sleeping. Each bedroom has a digital clock with a USB port and charging station for docking your cell phone. Laundry room is well stocked for use during your stay. There is a large, beautiful deck for warm weather enjoyment. A Gas Grill and a Fire Pit for your enjoyment. There is a 2 acre lake for fishing (and you are allowed to keep whatever you catch), swimming & kayaking! No fireworks are allowed. No Smoking or Vaping allowed in the home ($250 fine if it happens) you can do so outside.

Take Hwy 24 South out of Monroe City, to Hwy HH (Indian Creek) turn left. Go to Monroe County Road 581 (blacktop) and turn left. We are 1.5 miles on the right. Turn at the Indian Creek Boat & RV Storage Office sign on the right. Bring your boat (there is parking on the property down by the garage), bring your family and enjoy the peaceful country setting. There is a private 2 acre lake for fishing as well. We (the owners) do live on the property as well with our dogs, but respect your privacy and give you full use of the deck, dock/lake area during your stay, but are here to help if you need anything during your stay!

You can bring your ATV, or side-by-side, to explore miles of gravel roads. Prefer to go by foot, nearby parks have several trails varying in difficulty. Don't feel like cooking, I would recommend Rustic Oak for a nice dinner out. For a one stop shop, Route J market is in walking distance to pick anything from snacks, beverages, personal items, to fishhooks and bait. You need it, they probably got it!

When entering you come into the rustic vaulted great room and dining area. Off the great room is a full kitchen. The cabin features two bedrooms on the main level with a jack and jill bathroom and tub/shower combo. A master bedroom is upstairs with a second bathroom and a walk in shower. The cabin has a large covered porch with a fire table and ceiling fans for those hot summer evenings or cover for rainy days. In the backyard, we have a wood fire pit, adirondack chairs, and included firewood. A barbecue grill is available on the pad next to the deck. Propane and extra bottles are included. Fiberoptic internet provides extremely fast 1GB speed. Wifi powers 4 Fire TVs (Hulu & Amazon access included) and a dedicated workstation. Central air and heat.

Plenty of parking is available on both sides of the cabin.

Note: This cabin is much larger and nicer than most at 1000+ sq feet and 3 beds/2 baths located just 2 minutes from Blackjack Marina and Ray Behrens boat ramp.

There is a sofa, table and chairs, refrigerator, stove, microwave, cabinets, pots and pans, baking pans, plates, bowls, coffee cups, silverware, serving spoons, cooking utensils, mixing bowls, colander, gallon pitcher, electric griddle, toaster, hand mixer, small coffee pot, blender, toaster oven and bath towels are available, if you chose to use ours. We have a charcoal grill available to use also. The kitchen sink and additional tables are in the pavilion just outside the door.
