We are located near Mille Lacs, and between two casinos. Mille Lacs is Minnesota's second largest lake, and the "Walleye Capital of The World". You are less then 20 feet from the lake, not to mention that your less then 300 feet from a public access, so launching your boat will be a breeze.

We loved waking up in the morning to enjoy our coffee and just take in the farm scenery. She has 4 beautiful horses on her property, super friendly cats, uniques pathway to view her whole piece of heaven. When the evening came we sat outside, had our own campfire with another couple we came with. She has beautiful lighting around her property with twinkling lights, little pond and a rock garden. It was absolutely gorgeous, calming and a way to escape everyday stressors. When you walk into ur ocean mirage suite you are able to lay in bed, looking around your room, and hearing ocean sounds. This will make you feel like ur at a beach resort. The bed is the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on while on vacation. This place is one you have to see for yourself...pictures do not do it justice, compared to the hospitality and peacefulness of a country setting. Welcome to Keystone Lodge! Located just an hour and a half north of the twin cities. Come enjoy this private log home tucked back in the woods on 10 acres. You will find Knife Lake just a half mile down the road. Bring your ATVs/UTVs, boat, or kayaks there is something close for everyone to enjoy. Cozy up to the fire outside and roast some marshmallows while watching the sunset. There are many amenities close by including lakes, restaurants, breweries, state parks and hiking trails.

This space is ideal for families or groups looking to get together. There is a spacious living area for everyone to hang out indoors or a large yard for when the weather is perfect. We have added an outdoor sauna, hot tub and a game room with a pool table, air hockey table and dart board. Firewood, propane, and wood pellets will be provided for the fire pit, grill and pellet stove. There is PLENTY of off street parking, including room for trailers and campers if needed. There is a binder on the counter that lists nearby restaurants, stores, breweries, and other activities including their proximity and addresses.

HOT TUB AND SAUNA AVAILABILITY: The hot tub and sauna are seasonal and may not be available for every booking due to weather, maintenance or repairs. A refund will not be given if either are not operational. The hot tub is serviced, cleaned and chemically balanced before each stay. It is also drained and refilled often. It takes tremendous cost to operate and maintain so please be respectful, and follow all rules to help keep it running.

Guests agree to abide to rules and understands that there are special health risks that may be involved in using the hot tub, as well as safety risks. Come to Knife Lake Getaway and mix relaxing in this cozy RV (including heat and electric fireplace for chilly nights, AC for those hot days) with the adventure of many local state parks and lakes including Knife Lake right down the road or take a trip to Mille Lacs or a casino. Don't forget a visit with the resident animals, they love visitors!

The space
This spacious 3 slide out luxury camper with air conditioning, heating and electric fireplace nestled on 5 acres of country land which is set up like a campground/homestead with pool(seasonal and usually opens the end of June)and picnic table. Your camper has its very own space, parking for any toys you bring and a large private yard butted up to a beautiful wooded area next to the pond with a fire pit (please bring your own wood) and grill. Hot day? Relax in the pool located on the property. Rainy day? We have you covered with a TV and plenty of board games. Queen sized mattress, table that folds out into a bed makes a second bed and a deluxe air mattress makes a third bed. Full kitchen and bathroom. This camper is hooked up to electrical so no need for gas or a generator. Animals on site Zeus and Daisy our spoiled cattle, mini goats, ducks, geese and chickens, due to there sometimes being free ranging farm animals we do not allow pets on site. Knife lake 1 mile away and Mille Lacs lake 30 minutes both great for fishing. Many state parks close by for your great hiking experiences, take a look in our guest book upon arrival for areas. Just a 50 minute drive to canoe, kayak, tube, pontoon and UTV rentals.

The space
This cabin has one cozy bedroom with a view of pine trees 🌲🌲🌲with lots of birds chirping right outside the bedroom. The bathroom is right next to the bedroom with a hot water shower to relax. You can walk out to the kitchen and living area with a nice wood fireplace to keep you warm in cold weather along with the electric baseboard heaters and an additional electric fireplace heater for the living room. You can then relax to the view of a more wooded backyard with tons of tall pine trees. You can also enjoy a warm sun or a cool breeze if you walk right outside to a deck that wraps around the side of the cabin as well. We await for you to enjoy this incredible cabin experience just an hour from the cities.

Please stay within the wooded area of the property. You are welcome to walk out towards the street and then to Quamba lake if you turn right on the next street.

Water at the cabin is well water so if you are not comfortable drinking we suggest you bring your own drinking water.

Cosmo's Crossing- Come experience the peace of off grid tiny home living in this beautiful tiny barn tucked away in the woods. Perfect for small families, romantic getaways and artists retreats. Begin your journey crossing the dock to your own hideaway and plan your adventures at the many surrounding state parks or bring your toys and fishing gear to hang out on Knife Lake located just a mile up the road. And don't forget to visit the many animals on the homestead.

The space
Cosmo's Crossing offers comfortable off grid tiny house living in a serene escape in the midst of the woods, providing an opportunity to reconnect with nature and enjoy the natural beauty and adventure that northern Minnesota has to offer. The cozy barn is equipped with heating and air conditioning, ensuring a comfortable stay even during chilly spring nights or hot days. While you relax in the barn, you can also explore the nearby state parks, lakes (including Mille Lacs), and casinos. Visit with the resident cattle Zeus and Daisy, mini goats, chickens, geese and ducks, they love visitors! Due to the farm animals unfortunately we do not allow other pets on site. We even have free range duck and chicken eggs available. In addition, there is a pool on site for your enjoyment (closed for the season on labor day usually opens the end of June), and picnic table area. Please keep in mind there is a park that is a work in progress, it is older and we are working on updating it but it is available for kids to use.

The cabin is situated on 5 acres of land, tucked away in a beautiful wooded area across a pond, with ample parking space for your vehicles or toys. You will have your own private yard, complete with a deck, fire table, and grill. The property is off-grid and fully powered by solar energy, with a backup generator (which you can use with your own gas) in case of need. While there is no shower, you will have a composting toilet, water for cooking and a pump sink for hand-washing and cleaning up. Microwave and grill with pot burner available for cooking. Parking is on grass near the dock.

In addition to the cabin, there is also a family home and an RV (Kings Corner) on the property, but you will have your own separate space and privacy. Due to there being free ranging farm animals at times we do not allow pets in the property.

The space
Unlike many tiny homes, this one feels spacious. Eleven foot ceilings in the living area and a ten foot wide base make all the difference. Two sleeping areas are lofted on each end. The master loft has a new queen bed and is accessible by ladder. The second sleeping loft is accessible via stairs and has two new single beds. The second sleeping loft also has a 7 foot wide desk / workspace. Myself and two kids lived here for three years full time so it has everything you could ever need in the space! All of this is set on 8+ private acres of woods, wetlands, and mowed/open areas for you to roam.

Charming & cozy 2 bed/2 bath home with an open layout and gorgeous lake views. Connect with nature and enjoy all Knife Lake and the surrounding area have to offer! Easily accessible for people of all ages and abilities with minimal stairs and a level approach to the dock. The home is all one level with two steps up to decks in front and back. Nice level approach to the dock which is solely available to guests during their stay, dock is currently out of the water for the season. Fully appointed kitchen, full size washer and dryer, shampoo/conditioner/soap provided.

Guests will have sole use of the home, the yard, and the dock. Guests will not have access to the garage.

The space
Lilla Norr, "Little North" in Swedish, is a 1978 a-frame cabin located on 5 acres of woods along the Snake River. Restored by the owners of Arlee Park, it is an extension of the vintage shop in Minneapolis. The a-frame was rehabilitated and shares era specific pieces in the space with a focus on sustainability. We can't express how much it means to share this special space of ours with you!

Guests have access to the a-frame and a storage shed for trash receptacles, yard games, brooms, and shovels.

Other things to note
We hope our guests book Lilla Norr to enjoy the space and property! In order to not mislead, most recreational activities are a 20-40 minute drive, so we don't advertise or recommend booking the property as a hiking/sight-seeing destination, but rather to enjoy the space within the a-frame and the property itself.

There is one internet provider in the area and the wifi speed has been adequate for remote work, general internet browsing, and app streaming.

The gravel roads are maintained by the county year round and the driveway is cleared by private hire when 3-5 inches of snow accumulates. We cannot guarantee the conditions or when a snowfall occurs, when they will be cleared. Because of this, a 4WD/AWD vehicle is recommended during winter months due to snow, and suggested during late fall through spring months in case of muddy roads.

Welcome to Keystone Lodge! Located just an hour north of the twin cities. Come enjoy this private log home tucked back on 10 acres. You will find Knife Lake just a ½ mile down the road. Bring your favorite outdoor gear or stay in and enjoy the healing heat from the pellet stove. There is something for everyone. Enjoy the campfire and roast some marshmallows while taking in the serenity. There are lakes, restaurants, breweries, state parks, and trails close by. (Refer to guidebook.)

The space
This space is ideal for families or groups looking to get together. There is a spacious living area for everyone to hang out indoors or a large yard for when the weather is perfect. We have added an outdoor sauna, hot tub and a game room with a pool table, air hockey table and dart board. Firewood, propane, and wood pellets will be provided for the fire pit, grill and pellet stove. There is PLENTY of off street parking, including room for trailers and campers if needed.

Guests have access to use the entire house and all 10 acres- garage is locked. Knife Lake has a public fishing pier and two public boat ramps. Father Hennepin State Park on Mile Lacs Lake is just a 25 minute drive for public beach access and walking trails.

Other things to note
HOT TUB AND SAUNA AVAILABILITY: Our top priority is to keep both the spa and sauna in top shape for every guest's stay. However, there are always unexpected occurrences such as misuse, severe weather, breakdowns and repairs. A refund will not be given if either are not operational. The hot tub is serviced, cleaned and chemically balanced before each stay and is drained and refilled often. The sauna is sanitized between each stay. It takes tremendous effort to operate and maintain so please be respectful, and follow all rules to help avoid complications.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY FOR HOT TUB AND SAUNA:
Guests agree to abide to rules and understands that there are special health and safety risks that may be involved in using the hot tub and sauna. In particular, he or she understands that there are potential dangers that these amenities may present to children and pets who are not carefully supervised. Please do not use if you have health complications, are intoxicated or using any kind of drugs or medication, or are pregnant. The hot tub should be kept at a temperature that is less than 104F for personal safety.

Guest agrees to waive any claim whatsoever against Owner for accidents, medical conditions or claims arising from use of hot tub or sauna. Guest also understands and agrees that he or she is responsible and liable and will pay owner upon request for any damages that occur to the hot tub or sauna and its support equipment through misuse and/or negligence. For example, but not limited to, using incorrect chemicals, failing to replace the spa cover after use, damaging the cover, or damaging the filtration system with foreign objects, soaps or oils, or causing excessive water overflow or draining the tub to a point that it causes damage. By booking you are agreeing to these terms/conditions.
