- "Fun vacation" - "8 adults & 5 kids age 9-12. So happy with our stay. The kids had an incredible time and we know it’s a trip they will remember forever! The lodge is spacious with many options for sleeping, dining & entertainment. Awesome kitchen! So many FULL bathrooms! Pool was clean and well taken care of. The kids had a blast at the beach & dock. Beautiful lake for fishing, hiking & kayaking! The store is right across the street from the lodge and was so convenient. Basics items available. Anytime we needed anything (extra towels, soap, etc) we were able to ask for it at the store. The few things that we did not love were: The bathhouse @ the pool. It was in pretty bad shape & unusable. The pool table is in need of some major TLC. The large commercial stove was unplugged when we arrived, and once we plugged it in, we found out why. The oven part did not turn off without unplugging it. **the three things listed above we DID NOT bring to their attention. I imagine if we had done so, they may have addressed. Note: two bedrooms, and the additional sleeping areas are upstairs only accessible by two VERY narrow spiral staircases. There was a storm while we were there & ALL of Potosi lost power for quite a while! With the generators, free water, ice and quick work from the owners to reroute our fridge to the generator, we felt like the luckiest people in Potosi! Overall, we loved our getaway at the lodge and were impressed by the responsiveness of the owners. Thank you!"

- "House was filled with amenities and comfort/convenience items. Comfortable and lots of space." - "We had a very large group and the hostess and property were perfect. Angela stocked the home so all the little things we forgot were there (and so much more). The bedrooms were a little snug four our large group, but the ample public spaces more than made up for it. The outdoors had everything our kids need need to run around and the adults to feel they were safe. If you are thinking about the St Louis area, consider taking the longer drives to downtown from this home."

The only drawback for us (3 senior ladies) there was no swimming access even though there should have been! You can only swim at the lodges designated swim. A roped off small area with lifeguard. We would rather swim across from our location. The cabin was nice and clean but bunk beds weren’t the best for older ladies. We dealt though! Loved the porch and serenity! "

Make long-lasting memories by the lake—watch breathtaking sunsets and enjoy endless outdoor fun for the whole family, including hiking, kayaking, horseback riding, swimming, and more.
Dancing Under Red Skies is a stunning, fully furnished luxury treehouse, thoughtfully elevated 12 feet above the ground with a spacious deck overlooking the serene Sayersbrook Lake. Handcrafted by the Wagner family, no detail was spared in creating this peaceful retreat. Built with cedar meticulously milled right here on our ranch, this one-of-a-kind treehouse blends rustic charm with elevated comfort.
Oversized bay windows in the living room and master bedroom invite nature in, offering panoramic views of the lake and surrounding forest. Step out onto the 15 x 10 deck to catch a gorgeous sunset or head down for a refreshing swim in the lake just below.
After a day of fishing, hiking, or simply soaking in the stillness of nature, unwind by your own campfire or relax in the hot tub nestled beneath the treehouse.
Located on a working ranch, your stay also comes with the charm of country life—complete with horses, cattle, goats, and chickens roaming nearby.
This treehouse offers countless amenities (too many to list!), but the best part is experiencing it for yourself. Book your stay today and let the magic of the lake, the woods, and the skies create memories you’ll never forget.
- "The treehouse and the view were amazing! Loved there is a hike to do right on the property and a winery/brewery right across the street. The only downside was our hot tub wasn't working. If able to, might suggest double check it is working before people stay there, but it definitely didn't ruin our trip and would for sure come back!" - "celebrated my sisters 50th birthday. the treehouse was gorgeous....the scenery was beautiful and it was relaxing and peaceful and the hosts was friendly and pleasant. i would definitely make another reservation "
