Really nice washer/dryer set that sits on the main level for your convenience. Upstairs you will find a huge master bedroom with a king size bed, dresser, large desk, walk in closet, and a huge bathroom. You will also find another full bath and two other bedrooms with queen size beds upstairs. Please enjoy huge downstairs that has another full bath, a walkout, full of games including pool table/ping pong, air hockey, foosball table, cards, and another big smart TV. Surprisingly there is another huge bedroom with another king size bed downstairs as well. Exterior has beautiful and peaceful scenes/deck/back yard that can be seen from inside throughout the house. Owner quickly responds to your calls/texts and tries his best to provide a nice stay for you. The house is only minutes from shopping malls, grocery stores, a movie theater, airport, downtown and Mayo clinic. Last but not least, all beds are always fresh, clean, and comfortable. Broadway Guest House is more than just a charming place to spend a quiet weekend away. Our Guest House offers unique insight into our area's history, culture, and cuisine all in one place. Many local folklore and roomers claim that all who enter the home become LUCKY!

Somehow Broadway Guest House is as majestic inside as it is on the exterior. Every one of the 4 guest rooms is uniquely different—and many have luxe amenities, like a whirlpool tub and private deck. And is just minutes away from the idyllic Downtown Spring Valley.

A local banker named John Osterud (the original founder of Home Federal Savings Bank) originally built the home in 1938. The Guest House was completely remodeled 2021 - 2003 (Still upgrading as we go).

Spring Valley, Minnesota, is a quintessential small town that is famous for its historic main street, local cuisine, and vast array of events that take place during every season.

Broadway Guest House lies in the heart of Bluff Countries Driftless Region, there are a vast number of unique natural formations, parks and conservation areas that include trails, rest areas and playgrounds tapping into the beauty and wonder of this spectacular topography.

With an array of elevations from 603 to 1719 feet the area was never touched by glacial deposits, or drift, so largely remained untouched by glacial deposits. Steep hills, bluffs, deeply carved rivers, spring feed waterfalls and streams are common throughout the area.

Enjoy a good book by the fireplace, after a day or fishing or hiking. Broadway Guest House is the perfect place to find old world country charm, Spend your time Fishing on the Trout run trail, or experience our many local vineyards or breweries.

Kick back and relax when you stay at this quiet home on a tree lined street. The family will love the local swimming pool just down the street. Historic Lidtke Mill on the Upper Iowa River is just a mile away. Echo Valley Horse Arena is nearby and has fun shows to see. Niagara Cave is located 20 miles away in Harmony, MN and is a great underground adventure. Forestville/Mystery Cave is a state park nearby which offers hiking and horse trails. This home is just off the snowmobile trail also.

This is a 3 bedroom home. Two bedrooms have queen beds and one is a full size along with a twin futon. There is a full bath on the main level and another full bathroom in the basement. There is a quiet shaded yard and fenced in patio area. A grill is provided along with charcoal and lighter fluid. There is also a full size kitchen, dining area, and living room with TV. WiFi is provided.

Guests have access to the entire home and yard.

This Amish crafted solid log cabin sports a porch to sit back and soak in the morning sun. Solar powered lights on the inside. (There is NO ELECTRICITY OR WATER, there is non-potable water between May and Oct) A wood stove keeps the chill out on cool nights. Wood for campfires and inside fires are available for purchase. There is a container outside of cabin full of wood for purchase $20 (buy two bundles). One inside and one outside table. One twin over full bunk bed for sleeping, be sure to bring your own sleeping bag. Maybe, have your friends stay in a tent, and keep the cabin all to yourself!! Cell phone coverage is good. 5 minutes to Rochester, 10 to downtown. This is a pack in pack out, no garbage facilities. There is an outhouse about 150 ft away from cabin. Also located right off the snowmobile trail in the winter.

Whispering Winds is a holistic healing micro retreat specializing in nature-based self-care. The Dog Park is centrally located and provides a fenced in area for our four-legged friends to play and stretch their legs.

The Soul Garden acts as the main outdoor meditation area. Gongs, wind chimes, art pieces, crystals combine for the perfect ambiance. In addition, several smaller & more secluded areas are tucked into the woods and make for great meditation or yoga spaces.

The Stargazing Area has a wide view of the sky and contains stargazing chairs as well as a telescope! With limited light pollution in the area, its a really great opportunity for appreciating the night sky.

Whether lounging in a hammock, fishing for trout, or simply wading through and feeling the water on your feet, The Creek is a favorite among guests.

A nature trail takes you through the woods and along the creek. With vibrant green moss, beautiful flowers and lots of hidden treasures, this isn’t your average walk through the woods. We suggest taking a stroll at different times of the day, you’ll be sure to notice something different each time!

A flushing outhouse is available for guests as well as an outdoor Bath House. A delight for the brave of heart, the Bath House contains both a shower and tub completely enclosed by vine covered trellises. While always open, water is heated via the sun — thus warm water is subject to weather conditions.

Indoor showers are available for $3 or $5 if you need a towel. Laundry is available on-site for $5 per load for wash and dry.

The space
This is a quiet farm setting with wonderful natural beauty. Yes it is a rare and fun 1880 barn mow. Webster's dictionary defines a haymow as, "A mow especially of or for hay storage generally located in the upper aspect of a barn." That is what is clearly described in out listing. The mow has actual real hay on one side of the mow that we store there and then transport to the animals to eat outside in the winter. There is a kitchen, shower, hot and cold water and a flush toilet less than a football field away. There is water and electricity in the barn as well as beds, Wi- FI, table, lamp and chairs. There is a 2 wrung step ladder at one access and a walk in door that a wheelchair can get through at the other door. No birds live in the barn but an occasional sparrow can fly in. However, they never bite. There are no cows in the barn under the mow. However, since we are a working farm that actually produces food for people to eat and jobs for economic development, cattle and goats are on pastures not too far from the barn. Cows do still moo on occasion and bath less frequently that I would like. Nearly all barn mows have a hole in the floor that people use to toss the hay down below to take outside to the animals. We do cover the opening for safety when people stay. We also have an 1918 farmhouse listing on Airbnb with less rustic accommodations that may better suite folks that are not interested in the fun and historic experience of staying in the mow of a barn built 15 years after the civil war. The space
This home was built in 1962, and we have restored it to its original California Ranch glory. Sip a cocktail a la Mad Men or catch your favorite episode on the Chromecast enabled TV. Order in wine from the nationally recognized winery just across the field. When you're ready to leave this beautiful setting, you could get dinner at Four Daughters Vineyard and Winery or catch a race at Deer Creek Speedway. Or venture a couple miles further down the road to visit historic Lanesboro, Mystery Cave, or any of the area attactions.

This private home will be all yours during your stay. The yard includes three wooded acres on a quiet road. Relax inside and out in a park-like setting.

Guests can access a full kitchen, which includes a fridge, dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave, and coffee maker. We provide coffee, sugar, and creamer to make your mornings more enjoyable. Our kitchen is also well stocked with plates, utensils, and other supplies so that you can enjoy meals at home during your stay.

We do keep the utility room locked during guest stays. Guests can adjust the temperature using the smart thermometer in the main living area.

Other things to note
Children are welcome at any time as registered guests with adults. Our home is set up to accommodate large groups and has lots of sleeping options, including a twin sized trundle bed on the floor. There is also a high chair and a portable crib (pack 'n' play).

This house has a large finished basement and we can supply tables and chairs. Let us know if you're planning a scrapbooking or crafting weekend. We're happy to make sure you and your group have a great space to work.

A couple of other things to note: butchering or cleaning any animals or birds or fish on the property is not allowed. Don't ask. It happened! We also can't allow portable pools due to insurance restrictions.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. This is a quiet farmhouse located off a quiet country road where you can relax. Nestled on 28+ acres of lush landscape, 10 ponds( two of which are stocked with trout). This modern cabin boasts three cozy bedrooms, each with its own unique charm! There are two full bathrooms, and can comfortably sleep up to 7 guests. Plenty of outdoor spaces to fish, hike, bike, and kayak. Property adjoins to a bike trail that will take you into town and varies other places including a newly installed Frisbee Golf Course.

The space
As you step outside, you'll be greeted by the tranquil sounds of nature. From turtles, to Eagles, chances are you'll see both during your stay, along with a deer or 2. A nature lover's haven, you'll have the opportunity to fish or simply relax and take in the serene surroundings. Guests are welcome to fish the ponds, but it is limited to catch and release only. We trust that all guest will be respectful of this policy and the land. Spring Valley creek Runs along the property and guests are welcome to fish that as well. Please be sure to check with your local fishing authorities for proper licensing.
