Situated on west side of Little Elk Lake (near Zimmerman, MN) and sits on a 1 acre wooded property with a breathtaking, southeast facing, view of the lake front perfect for spectacular sunrises. A dock for you to fish from and secure your boat or perhaps jet skis.

Recently, the house was beautifully updated with a stunning kitchen to include a wine cooler. Outfitted with new furniture. It’s just simply stated, a perfect place to relax with family and friends, enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning on the patio or perhaps enjoy a glass of wine in the evening as the sun sets. Sleeps up to 16 guests. 1-King bed, 2-Queen beds, 1-Full futon sofa. 4- pull out queen sleeper sofas, and 1- pull out twin sleeper sofa. To top it off, It’s expansive 21’x30’ loft outfitted with a wet bar and under-counter refrigerator is a great place for kids and grandkids to get away and spend time as the adults relax on the lake front.

The kitchen is perfect for cooking for a large group and is very well stocked. We knew from last year so we brought our own shampoo, body wash and extra paper towels and toilet paper. She starts you off with the basics but the store is only 5 minutes away. We just chose to bring extra along. Lawn games, board games, plenty of tvs and steaming , good wifi ( we had one working from a laptop and teens on devices and no issues ) . This is the perfect spot for families with kids of all ages. The water at the shoreline is shallow enough for even toddlers to swim. Highly recommend and we look forward to booking our next trip!"

Welcome to your next vacation getaway! Nestled on Lake Fremont with a beautiful view of a peaceful natural setting, this house has a huge deck, sandy beach and lakeside fire pit. Relax in the warmth and openness of the main living room with its vaulted ceilings and gas fireplace; surrounded by two bedrooms, open kitchen, wood floors, huge windows and skylights. This is your home away from home as you give your body a rest, go fishing, have a picnic, relax on the sandy beach or make s’mores at the fire pit. Bring your boat (or rent ours) and cruise the lake and explore the island in the center of the lake. In the winter, bring your snowmobile and explore the miles of nearby trails. The bonfire pit is just steps from the water.

DETAILS: The master suite is lofted and has skylights. The second bedroom has a lake/beach view. There is also a large couch perfect for afternoon naps.

The living room has skylights, large LED smart TV, DVD, and internet TV. The large windows and doors offer a great view of the lake.

Also, if you are looking for a non-toxic place, we have converted the house to a chemical-free, organic cottage. The beds, linens and pillows are either organic cotton or non-GMO cotton. Queen bed is a new organic Avocado mattress. All cleaning products are fragrance-free and we don't use harsh chemicals (Branch Basics is used for cleaning). Air filters are changed every two months. Trust us...you will notice a difference in how great you feel after a week here.

Welcome to Sunset Retreat! The updated four season cabin offers the best sunset views on Big Lake, plus plenty of water toys for you to enjoy!

A charming two bedroom, one bath home with a large dining table for 8, beautiful white oak floors throughout, a wood-burning fireplace and new custom cabinetry. Swing from the hanging egg chair in the dining room and enjoy the spectacular west-facing view. Then step outside to the spacious patio furnished with a bar, dining table, Traeger pellet grill and a Hot Shot stove for a small fire.

During winter months enjoy cross-country skiing, sledding and ice fishing at the lake. Big Lake is also a snow-mobile destination, with access to over 230 miles of groomed trails.

During warmer months, walk down to the dock to enjoy swimming, fishing, a ride in the pedal boat, canoe, or kayak (included with your rental), or to simply relax and take it all in. You are welcome to bring a boat and tie it up on the dock.

The home features two bedrooms: One with a King Sleep Number bed and desk/dressing table, the second with a full-sized bed with memory foam mattress under a twin bunk bed (with stairs). There is a full-sized futon in the common area.

The kitchen is equipped with updated appliances, a Keurig, air fryer/toaster oven, new pots and pans, and standard tools/cooking utensils. There is also a full-sized bath, and a washer and dryer.

The house is cooled with a newly updated air conditioning unit. Ceiling fans circulate the air in the living room and two bedrooms, plus two additional fans are provided to move cool air into the bedrooms at night.

We all love a good time; however, this is a residential area and we ask renters to be respectful to the neighboring houses which are close by. Outdoor quiet hours are 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. in alignment with the City of Big Lake Noise Ordinance.

Ice Skating Rink - 0.5 miles
The city skating rink at 160 Lake Street N includes: Benches, parking, restrooms and a warming house.

Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge - 12 miles
The refuge offers a variety of recreational activities including hiking, wildlife watching, photography, driving the Prairie’s Edge Wildlife. Paddle the designated canoe route to get a different perspective and get off the beaten path by hiking or biking the service roads when the refuge is out of wildlife sanctuary from September 1 through February 28.

ERX Motor Park - 14 miles

The cabin is comfortably furnished with updated appliances, including dishwasher, and washer/dryer. A flat screen TV, cable, and wireless, high-speed internet will keep you in the loop with the every-day.

This place is great if you are looking to get out in nature! We are just a 10 minute drive from great hiking trails in the Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge. You can find ice skating rinks in the nearby towns (or on the lake if it's clear). Great options for snowshoeing and cross country skiing. Right across the bay, you could grab a drink and some food at the local dive, Ridgewood Bay. Just contact us if you have any other questions or need recommendations!

Very nice home but not priceless. It's meant to be lived in. This house has a lot of room and a lot of sleeping space. Secure pet kennel with doggy door into garage and a lot of ways for kids to entertain themselves.

The host was responsive and answered our questions. There were some very nice touches and surprises left by the host for us to enjoy. Almost anything you could need was there. I would definitely recommend this property. It worked out that it was close to the Twin Cities area where we were all from. Those that couldn't stay the entire time had just a short distance to travel."

Swimming was not possible since the algae was dense, but there was plenty to do over the weekend. The local towns of Princeton and Cambridge have some cute shops downtown. We absolutely loved the restaurant in downtown Cambridge called Leader. Our entire crew of adults, teens, and toddlers had a memorable, relaxing stay."

Brand new and clean family cabin! 21' Ercoa pontoon with 50hp 4 stroke Honda motor on the dock ready to rent. (Please contact host for details) This cabin was completely renovated in 2020 to a 4 season escape just 45 minutes north of the cities. Beautiful western sunset exposure consisting of a wall of lake facing windows, open floor plan, large center island in the kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a loft, and 1.5 baths. There is a large deck on the 2nd floor perfect for relaxing with your morning coffee soaking in all that the lake has to offer. Both bedrooms have a patio door onto the deck. The property has a flat, grassy lake lot only steps from the water that is perfect for hanging out playing yard games. Also a sandy beach and large campfire pit along the shore. There is also a new dock.
Long lake is an energic 390 acre recreational playground consisting of 3 separate bays with plenty of pan fish, northern and walleye pike. Sunrise resort is on the north side of the lake with a great outdoor dining experience including public dock space to pull your boat in for a visit. This lake is filled with casual pontoons strolling by with plenty of waterskiing and jetskiers to keep you entertained! There is a public boat launch with ample parking only 1/4 mile away. Onsite we have a paddleboat and canoe available for you to use to add to your lake experience fun. Pontoon available for daily rental.

- "The cabin was the perfect lake getaway for our family. its only an hour north of twin cities. On a smaller lake, which is perfect as it was quieter. The water is not as deep and there is a small beach area right on the property which was great for our kids to be able to walk in and swim. The host let us use their lake toys. We were also able to rent the pontoon from the hosts - nothing fancy but worked great and cant beat the convenience factor. The cabin is not airconditioned - there is one window AC and lots of fans for circulation which was good, but can get a little warm. Also the rooms are on the smaller side, and a tight fit. For a family with kids though it was great. and we anyways spent most of the time outside or on the water."

Nestled on the peninsula of Big Eagle Lake, this wonderful retreat sits 5 miles west of Big Lake. The entire home was recently remodeled and most everything upgraded inside and out.

The layout of the home is fantastic for families or small groups to enjoy. The main floor is set up with the kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms and master bath. Each has a large flat screen TV with streaming capabilities. The open floor plan connects the living, dining, and kitchen allowing each group to spend time together and make incredible memories.

Downstairs is listed as a bedroom as it has 2 additional beds with a large picture window for enjoying all of nature’s beauty right from your bed. It also has it's own door that walks out onto the patio.

The backyard is a great place relax on the patio, enjoy a campfire and enjoy the beautiful lake views.

+The pontoon and Jet Ski are off limits. No tampering with or sitting on etc. It is monitored with security cameras and there will be a minimum $500 fee if any of these rules are not followed (or whatever it costs to fix if this rule is not followed). Aluminum fishing boat and trolling motor available upon request.
+Our home is on the peninsula. It is a dead-end narrow road, please drive slow and use caution when backing out of our driveway.
+Trash day is Tuesday morning, if you are there on Monday, please put cans out Monday evening. Missing this will result in a $50 fine that it costs to get the garbage company to come back out.
+Please load all dishes in the dishwasher and start it before leaving.
+Lawn company may need to stop by to water plants and mow. We will try to keep this to a minimum or schedule when it is not rented, but that might not always work. We will give notice before hand if anyone needs to come during your stay.
+We understand that accidents happen. Please let us know if anything gets broken etc so we can replace it for our next guests. Any excessive damage to the property will be replaced and back charged to the renter.
+ Any stays longer than 30 days will require a separate short term lease agreement.

Welcome to your next vacation getaway! Nestled on Lake Fremont with a beautiful view of a peaceful natural setting, this house has a huge deck, sandy beach and lakeside fire pit. Relax in the warmth and openness of the main living room with its vaulted ceilings and gas fireplace; surrounded by two bedrooms, open kitchen, wood floors, huge windows and skylights. This is your home away from home as you give your body a rest, go fishing, have a picnic, relax on the sandy beach or make s’mores at the fire pit. Bring your boat (or rent ours) and cruise the lake and explore the island in the center of the lake. In the winter, bring your snowmobile and explore the miles of nearby trails. The bonfire pit is just steps from the water.

DETAILS: The master suite is lofted and has skylights. The second bedroom has a lake/beach view. There is also a large couch perfect for afternoon naps.

The living room has skylights, large LED smart TV, DVD, and internet TV. The large windows and doors offer a great view of the lake.

Also, if you are looking for a non-toxic place, we have converted the house to a chemical-free, organic cottage. The beds, linens and pillows are either organic cotton or non-GMO cotton. Queen bed is a new organic Avocado mattress. All cleaning products are fragrance-free and we don't use harsh chemicals (Branch Basics is used for cleaning). Air filters are changed every two months. Trust us...you will notice a difference in how great you feel after a week here.

Beautiful walking trails within a couple blocks at Grams Regional Park (see photos).

If you are bringing the family, we have a wide variety of family games, internet-connected TV, wireless internet and a DVD player. Have kids? We have plenty of toys, books and crafts to keep your little ones busy on a rainy/snowy day.

Like to eat out or go bowling? Within one mile there is an excellent, affordable family restaurant and bowling alley, Zimmerman Bowl, as well as a gas station, grocery store, liquor store and a coffeeshop. If you enjoy shopping, there are a handful of wonderful antique and vintage shops in Zimmerman.

All furnishings, linens, cooking utensils, and kitchenware are included. Olive oil and basic seasonings provided.

Want to bring your dog? We love dogs! We welcome dogs for a non-refundable $100 per pet deposit. No cats allowed as the owner has a severe cat allergy (Christina loves cats so blame Craig). Please note that smoking is not allowed inside the cabin.

Interested in water adventures during your stay? For an extra fee, we offer rental of a pontoon boat, kayaks (adult/youth), paddle boards/SUPs (adult/youth) and a Maui mat.

Only 20 minutes to Albertville Outlet Shopping Center and the Shops at Arbor Lakes. Only 45 minutes to Minneapolis.

Guests will have access to the entire house, the private beach and the lot next door for picnics, boat trailer storage, etc. The large private dock is also yours for the duration of your stay (so bring a boat or rent ours).

We have a boat, a variety of stand up paddle boards, a canoe, a kayak and a Maui Mat (think of a giant floating yoga at that can be used as a swim platform) and a beanbag/cornhole game available for rent for your entire stay. Please let us know if you would be interested in renting these items.

The space
This charming, luxury log cabin offers the perfect retreat for the whole family, comfortably sleeping up to 7 guests. The main bedroom features a queen-sized bed, while the spacious loft has 3 full-sized beds, and the living room includes a pull-out twin for extra space. The open living area invites relaxation, and the fully equipped kitchen makes meal prep inviting for everyone. The in-unit laundry is added convenience for longer stays.
Step out onto the expansive porch overlooking Little Elk Lake, or take a short stroll to the nearby lakeside restaurant. Enjoy year-round activities, including lake side bonfires, ice fishing, ATV trails, and winter snowmobiling. For more local adventures, explore Fairway Shores Golf Course, Zimmerman Café Bar Bowl with go-karts, or hike the scenic Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge, perfect for nature lovers and wildlife watchers alike.

The cabin operates on a septic and well system. We ask all guests to follow these important guidelines:

Septic Use: Only flush toilet paper, and please limit water usage wherever possible.

Well Water: The water is sourced from a private well. While it was tested within the last year, we cannot guarantee its quality, and it may have a distinct “well water” smell. We provide a Brita filter, but recommend bringing extra bottled water if you prefer.

Additional Notes:
1. Watercraft and Equipment: Use of the kayak, canoe, and stand-up paddleboard (SUP) is at your own risk. Life jackets are provided and should be worn while using any watercraft. Please return all equipment in the same condition and location as found.
2. Winter Snow Removal: Snow may not be cleared immediately but will be addressed as soon as possible. We outsource snow removal, so timing depends on contractor availability. A shovel is provided for guests to use in the meantime.
3. Boathouse Roof: Guests are strictly prohibited from accessing or climbing on the boathouse roof for any reason.

Time to enjoy and incredible get away in a uniquely modern MN cabin on the lake. We have put this space together in order for you to have an incredibly relaxing weekend, no matter if it's the dead of winter or a hot summer day! We provide goodies for you to get your stay started off right such as coffee, tea, beef sticks, tooth brushes, toothpaste, and wine. There are also all these great amenities included: sauna, workout equipment, fire pit, snowshoes, fireplaces, and, of course, the lake!

The space
The main cabin includes a large main bedroom with a comfortable king mattress and an upstairs bunkbed room that has a queen and full sized bunk bed.

Also in the main cabin, is a comfortable living room that also has a full-sized pull out couch with a nice foam mattress topper to make that more comfortable than your average pull out couch.

The additional sleeping quarters is in the room above the garage. There is heating and cooling in there, so that room will say comfortable for sleeping regardless of the time of year. There is a queen bed and full pull out in this space.

There are also all these great amenities included: sauna, paddle boards, a kayak, life jackets, workout equipment, fire pit, snowshoes, fireplaces, and, of course, the lake!

This place is great if you are looking to get out in nature! We are just a 10 minute drive from great hiking trails in the Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge. You can find ice skating rinks in the nearby towns (or on the lake if it's clear). Great options for snowshoeing and cross country skiing. Right across the bay, you could grab a drink and some food at the local dive, Ridgewood Bay. Just contact us if you have any other questions or need recommendations!

Stunning lake home within an hour of the Twin Cities and St. Cloud; close to restaurants and more. 150 feet of lakeshore and many amenities: deck with grill and outdoor tables and seating, lakeside patio with fire pit and chairs, beach area with lounge chairs, 4 kayaks, 2 paddle boards, and a lily pad! We also provide all the convenience items like paper plates, bowls, cups, and utensils. All bedrooms have AC units! We also have an 18' pontoon available for rent!

The space
We are located near the end of a private road on the north bay of Blue Lake.

Bedrooms 1 and 2 are located on the walk-out basement level of the home. Each has its own door leading out to the patio.

Bedroom 3 is located on the 3rd level and is accessed via a spiral staircase. If that is a concern, please take that into consideration prior to booking.

There are full bathrooms on the main and lower levels of the home.

Please be advised that there is no dishwasher in the house but we do provide paper products.

We have well water that is safe to drink or there is filtered water from the refrigerator.

During colder months, our heaters may be hot to the touch so please do not touch or lay items on the heaters located throughout the house.

There is extra bedding in the closet in the bathroom on the main floor and/or in the closets of each bedroom.

Please be very careful on the spiral staircase and other sets of stairs.

Please be advised that the 3rd story loft area (Bedroom 3) is accessed via a spiral staircase (shown in living room photo). If this is a concern, please take that into consideration prior to booking.

There are four kayaks and two paddle boards available for use. Life jackets (in boat house by the lake) are required when using them.

Firewood is provided for the fire pit. It is in the deck box next to the fire pit area.

Welcome to Cantlin Lake Lodge, a serene retreat on 5 private acres surrounded by woods & lake. Perfect for families and friends, this spacious lodge sleeps up to 12 guests and offers a blend of comfort, charm, and activities for an unforgettable getaway. ( Base price covers 10 guests)

The Lodge is on Lake Cantlin with a clean and beautiful private beach. With various water activities in the summer and plenty of winter activities, Cantlin Lake Lodge is the perfect getaway any time of year!

The space
As you walk through the front door, you will walk into a spacious entryway/foyer/mudroom. From there, you enter the kitchen, living room, and dining room. There is also an entrance to the laundry room. All of these areas provide beautiful views of the lake.

The lower level contains a large and bright family room with a wood-burning fireplace. Bedroom #1 and a bathroom are located on the lower level. There is also access to the backyard and a game room (which has a billiard table and foosball table).

Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, a loft, and a bathroom. Bedroom #2 has two full beds, and Bedroom #3 has a queen bed. The loft has two twin pull-out couches.

All the lake amenities, such as paddle boards, life jackets, etc. will be accessible to the guests.

Wood burning barrel sauna will be available starting Fall 2025! Please see photos.

Pontoon boat and fishing boat available for rental (rental is from neighbors on the lake). Let us know if interested in rental.
