- "This lovely hotel is nicely situated right on beach, with large waterfront pool and hot tub, as well as a lovely ocean/pooside resraurant open from breakfast til 9pm. The free self parking is right beside hotel and never had trouble finding a spot. All staff we met were friendly and helpful. Of note, the luau held on property is held in open view of hotel and beach guests when not raining so guests get free show if interested. There is a watersport rental near beach that offers surfing lessons and the waves break close to the nice sandy beach. Beds very comfy and resort clean. Would highly recommend. "

THE SPACE:

- "This is a great property and accurately described in the listing. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking. There are beach towels, chairs, boogie boards a cooler and umbrella for your beach days. The beds were very comfortable and the neighborhood felt safe. You can walk directly down to the beach from the home. There is also a larger beach a bit up the road. Salt Pond State Park is also close and has a nice swimming area with lifeguards on duty. Close in proximity to the cute little town of Waimea. Also not a far drive to Waimea Canyon or Port Allen. We appreciated the location of the home and the daily visits from the rooster next door. I would highly recommend this property and we would definitely stay again!"

This custom designed Hawaiian plantation style cottage is located just off the Brennecke's beach side of Poipu Beach Park, 100 steps to the beach!

This spacious house was designed and built in 2013 to be the perfect vacation retreat - its plantation style allows it to blend in with the historic neighborhood, while offering every modern luxury. Outside is a barbeque grilling area, a garden shower accessible from either the master bath or from outside, and under the Plumeria Tree is a landscaped 5 person hot springs style hot tub. Enjoy the 2 master, air conditioned, suites with plush king beds, flat screen TVs, pedestal tub, and outdoor garden shower, and full size front load washer and dryer. The open plan great room opens up to the large lanai with 22 feet of 8' high folding doors, and the 9 1/2 foot high walls, vaulted ceilings, large double hung windows, and ceiling fans keep the place breezy and cool. Both bedrooms are air conditioned to keep you comfortable all night long. The kitchen is equipped with a full sized french door refrigerator, whisper quiet dishwasher, gas range, walk-in pantry, granite counters, open shelving, and fully stocked. The sound system through out the living area as well as the lanai is set up for surround sound TV watching, listening to Pandora, or you can wirelessly listen to your own music collection from your smartphone. If you find us all ready booked, consider our house next door!

- "Our stay in 2018 was just about perfect. We loved the property and there wasn’t much that could make it better…UNTIL a/c was added in the bedrooms! Now this place is perfect! Mahalo for another wonderful stay!" - "The location was excellent, place was great, no complaints. We will defiantly stay here again when in Kauai - Karen was very helpful and easy to contact." - "If we had one surprise, it was the photos versus reality of the home. For some reason, the photos make it appear more expansive. It was still amazing and perhaps even more so because of the coziness. That being said, we hosted the rest of the family one night for our turn at dinner, and accommodated an additional six for those few hours incredibly comfortably. The location itself was perfection for us and we will be back. Those just a little familiar with ocean swimming or less should avoid Brennecke’s beach. The current is very strong and there are a lot of rocks. Great for watching sea turtles swim in the surf, for hours. Poipu Beach which is pretty much adjacent, he’s better protected swimming waters and lifeguards. I’m a big guy, so added a heavy weight chair to the well stocked collection of beach assets. (For those wanting a peaceful, idyllic beach experience, drive the hour to Anini Beach!) The bed was very comfortable. The ease of access to the outdoor shower was incredible. Don’t be surprised if a gecko joins you. We pulled all the outdoor shades and kept the exterior and interior fans running with the easy to use retractable glass doors when we were home and found only the late afternoon to be on the warm side. The AC unit in the bedroom gets the room cool and keeps it that way overnight quite nicely. For any Saturday, it’s really best to just plan on being away from the house much of the day. The landscaper comes in the morning and spends a lot of time at each of the properties he’s servicing. It is incredibly manicured and well kept because of his time, but probably best to avoid the accompanying noise. Communication was superb and we will be back in a couple years."

Our farm sits up on a bluff, close enough to the ocean to hear it and walk to it. Yet, in case of a tsunami warning there is no need to evacuate as we are not in the evacuation zone. The walk to the beach is very enjoyable. Its down a shady little road that takes about 15 to 20 minutes depending on the pace.
Located in the East for the perfect base to explore both sides of the island from.

The cabin has NO TV reception.

- "My husband and I love staying here. The place is perfect for two, the location is one of our favorite places on the island. The outdoor shower is the greatest and feels wonderful. In the evenings we love sitting on the porch and watching the geckos. Diana is kind and helpful. Paradise for two." - "Loved this cabin on a farm at the foot of King Kong Mountain,1 mile from an uncrowded beach. We only saw locals at this beach. Location on the east side was superb for accessing the entire island if you have a car. Lush garden around property with coconut trees which we were allowed to eat from. Grounds are well kept. Loved sitting on the porch. Bed slept great and cabin was well equipped. Bedroom has window unit air conditioner which kept bedroom cool at night and in mornings. However, it couldn’t handle mid-day temperatures. A larger unit may be needed. But we we’re out and about during most days. I would definitely recommend this cute, comfortable cabin!"

The space
This is self sufficient one room studio/efficiency. You will enter the studio from the outside of the house via a private entrance. We seldom see guests because the entrance is on the side of the house but we welcome guests if they would like to get to know us. This studio is part of a large home in a quite and well kept residential neighborhood. The home is a family home with two adults and one ten year old boy that has friends over at times so they can run around a bit but we calm them down by dinner or bed time. No one has complained at all but we want to provide full disclosure that we are here and could be heard from time to time. Again, we are respectful and do our best to calm down by bedtime or normally before. The passage way from your entrance is slightly limited by the bed. There is no AC and should there be no trade winds it can get a warm.

This is self sufficient one room efficiency. You will enter the studio from the outside of the house via a private entrance. You will not need access to other parts of the house. The space is open and clean and is approximately 200 square feet when you add the living area, bathroom and small closet. The space has a queen bed and is equipped with a kitchenette that will allow you to make meals. You are a 5 minute walk from the local shopping center that has restaurants, shops, yoga, ice cream, medical, post office, banks and a grocery store. This area of Kauai is known for stunning views, beaches, surfing hiking, golf. Unless you stay for a long time you will not have time to visit all the amazing beaches within 15 minutes by car, and 30 to 45 minutes on foot.

The space
Large studio with stunning views of the East side ocean, mountains and valley that surrounds it. Located above the carport (no wall to wall neighbors), with parking space right in front (no parking is permitted on-street). Cool trade winds blow through the studio. Small portable A/C unit in the studio. Two-stove burner and small oven are on lanai balcony (not in kitchen) as well as double burner hotplate for indoor cooking. Studio door has digital keypad for easy check-in.

The location
Conveniently located for visits to the North and South sides of the island, a 5 minute drive down the hill to the town of Kapa‘a and the East side beaches. Located in a residential neighborhood with quiet time from 9pm to 8am. Roosters are everywhere on Kaua‘i and their day starts early.

Beach chairs, towels, umbrella, cooler, body boards, snorkel gear on site for guests to use.
Guest are welcome to use washing machine and dryer located in carport.

Only a 10 minute drive away from the famous Hanalei Bay or approximately 15 minutes from the the scenic Kilauea Lighthouse Point & Wildlife Refuge.

Primary renter must be at least 21. The resort requires a security deposit of $250 on a credit card upon check-in, which is released upon check-out.  

The name on the reservation must match the ID of the person checking in. It is the guest's responsibility to provide us with the name of the person who will be checking in, at the time of booking. There is a $99 fee if you need to change the name on the reservation. Even if another member of your party arrives first, they will not be able to check in before the person named on the reservation. If you do not provide us with the name you would like on the reservation, we will use the name and address that the reservation was booked under as the default. If another member of your party will be arriving before you, include their name in your message at the time of booking and will add their name instead of yours. 

Guests may not have more than one reservation booked in their name for the same dates. If you have booked another unit for the same dates with another company, you must make sure that the name on each reservation is different, or you will be in jeopardy of Wyndham canceling one of your reservations without notice. If you would like to book multiple units, please provide other names to put on the other reservations. 

A credit card that you provide at check-in is used as a security deposit. Rooms are inspected after Housekeeping cleans. Damage or missing items will be charged to your credit card on file. 

Wyndham has maximum occupancy set for each room type. If these rules are not followed by guests, Wyndham may cancel the reservation. 

Pets are not permitted. A service animal trained to perform special tasks is permitted. 

Resort Stay LLC is not responsible for severe weather or power outages. Guests can purchase travel insurance prior to their trip to protect themselves against unforeseen cancellation. Reservations are transferable for $99.
