Kauai Banyan Inn has beautifully appointed and meticulously cared for vacation suites located in the pastoral hills above Poipu. Each suite is equipped with everything you will need for a peaceful and relaxing visit to Kauai. The hillside location of our Hawaiian Plantation estate offers breath taking, panoramic “bird’s eye” views from each suite.

The beautifully appointed Ali`i Suite is fit for a “King” (Ali`i, means Hawaiian Royalty). This suite features high quality traditional Hawaiian decor, Red Cedar vaulted ceilings, white oak hardwood floors and a stunning four-poster bed with a comfortable eco contoured king mattress. There is a private bath with a soak er tub and a separate double shower as well as a sitting area with incredible mountain and distant ocean views. CANCELLATION POLICY
We understand at times unforeseen circumstances arise and cause the need to cancel your travel plans. We recommend that you purchase travel insurance to cover your costs in the event of a necessary cancellation. If you need to cancel your trip, we are able to refund your investment less a $50 processing fee, If you cancel at least thirty days prior to your check in date (60 days for stays 2 weeks or longer). As we are a small operation, and it is difficult to find a replacement reservation in a short amount of time, we cannot provide refunds if you cancel within 30 days (60 days for stays 2 weeks or longer) of your check in date. We have a solar heated salt water pool, this room is located on the end of the house over looking the lush Wailua valley. This room has a private bathroom that is located across the pool deck, not in the room. Furnished with a queen size bed, small private refrigerator and coffee pot. Room is located right on the pool deck, you really hear all the jungle sounds and the water falls from your bedroom.

The space
We are centrally located on the island, approx. 45 min to 1 hour either way to reach the south side or north side. 5 minutes from the beach, all shopping and some of the best restaurants on island!

Guest access
Full access to upper and lower pool deck, and walking distance to Sleeping Giant hiking trails.

We live on the property, so we are available to assist you with any questions about your itinerary, shopping, restaurants, hiking, site seeing ect. Tim is born and raised in Hawaii and loves to talk story about the island and its history:). Look forward to meeting you soon!

Other things to note
We do have 2 children here, one in college in Oregon, the kids here are gone from 7 am until 4 pm Mon through Friday, then out with their extracurricular activities such as football, soccer, baseball, volley ball ect. Weekends we are running them to games and competitions. Ages 12, 16, It is a family run business, so they assist with the operation in various ways. We also have a 4 acre farm that we own and run with various animals and fresh vegetables and fruits.
